| I like the princess but Hak is still the most interesting part of this show for me. Even if he was going on a journey on his own without all this political intrigue involving the princess and her lover who killed her father, I would definitely watch it. I don't think Hak's overpowered. I just think the fire army is no match for a former reputable general and a good one at that. However, the soon-to-be King kept up with Hak so he is at least a match and perhaps the other generals at the castle since there are four others. Anyway, this was a great episode for me because it featured a lot of Hak and a bit more of the Wind tribe. I'm looking forward to meeting the other guys from their group and definitely more Hak. |
| Yona is showing the qualities that you have to expect from a warrior princess: courage, determination, and the ability to command. This actually seemed to me to mark the transition from a passive recipient of everything that fate throws at her, to someone who has made up her mind that she's going to change things. The demand that Hak accompany her, rather than a plea to allow her to accompany him shows just how much she has changed. It's good to see the ratings on the show steadily rising too: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1278945. I suspect the shoujo label hurt it in terms of the early watchers, but really, there is a lot more blood and fighting in this show than in some of the shounen battle fantasies this season. |

| Yona's development is coming across extremely well so far. It just feels like they cheated by 'showing' us that it would certainly come to make it easier to buy into her changes. That's still my only problem with this, but once it's come full circle I should be able to forget about that. |

| Hak is a badass >.< but the way he is blushing is adorable <3 I fell in love with his character. Damn Yona you're so lucky to stay beside him ,w, This is typical shoujo genre, there's cliche everywhere, still the action is pretty impressive. |

| My loyalty to this show is getting seriously challenged by these last two EPs. The comedy is out of place, Hak is overpowered as fuck, the music is still too loud, Yona's quasi-confession was a bit unnatural, and now it appears she's potentially a fire-wielder. I'd also like to know how the two escaped an onslaught of arrows, routed a hundred soldiers, and conviently made it within feet of the General without detection. Props for Yona's inner monologue though. At least they're trying to do some character work on her. Hak's sexual innuendos are good for a chuckle too. |
| lol I swear Hak's little brother could make a perfect Trap... should've made it his "little sister". This episode had lots of great fight scenes and great scenes in general. Also, am I the only that thinks Hak is Xin Zhao!!??!?!??!?!?!? XIN ZHAO IS THAT U!?!??!?!?? I swear he is.... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Anyways, Hak is my man, love that guy. He is awesome. THAT is how i feel a man should be. Take a poison arrow for the girl you love. Heck yeah. Hope he beats all those ppl next episode and save Princess. Or hope the princess Yona goes on super saiyan mode and beats up that arrogant douche of the Fire Tribe. 5/5. Amazing episode. Keep it up! |

| I know that the OST's were good and fits in one scene but heck I really don't know who to blame: Pierrot? CR? Just who in the world makes the BG music overpowering the dialogues? But this episode was superb and Yona's development... Gosh, so love her so much. And even Hak's badassness that he even surpassed the poison's effect. And yes, the next episode... I hope the subs won't mistake on his name, seriously. |

| Mhm... i ended up reading up to chapter 49 after watching this... and i can't help but wonder when and how they will the end the season... (there are 15 volumes of the manga right now). It usually takes 2 chapters per episode. Episode 5 goes up to chapter 9. |

| Awesome episode!!! Yona is always so cute and when she hugged Tae Yoon I really felt her feelings... Hak sure is a great childhood friend and he's so strong too (in episode 2 he showed just a little of his strength against Soo Woon ahah), being able to handle alone so many soldiers and so many arrows coming from all directions!!! Raijuu fits him perfectly!! >_< But that POISONED ARROW!! Yona's awakening is coming!! |

| This episode was handled a lot better than I expected. I figured Yona would selfishly try to make Hak take her with him, and in a sense she did, but the way she did it gave me a lot more confidence in her decision. Seeing the hurt villagers gave a good motivation for Yona's leaving, and her insistence that Hak follow her rather than the other way around was quite surprising (and fitting, admittedly). However, I was a bit unconvinced by how easily he ended up giving in, especially with how he led the conversation: The only logical conclusion that I'm coming to is that he does indeed have feelings for Yona (complete with blush), so I guess it isn't just shipping goggles. The comedy was pretty out-of-place at times, as per usual. It wasn't a bit detractor, though. The being-surrounded-by-arrows-only-for-them-to-attack-with-swords thing would have really annoyed me if they hadn't shown Hak destroying arrows mid-flight later. He handled himself well, but I'm kinda glad they didn't take it to one man army levels (which is far too easy to do in a fantasy setting). Yona's attack on the archer was impressive. I loved the effects with Yona's eyes and hair at the end. It created an interesting moment. Best episode yet. |

| I really love the Ost of this series. It's really fantasy Osts. for a strange reason it reminds me of the Hobbit and LOTR. Well, it's some of the same things. They go in the fantasy genre after all. |

By the way, am I the only one who sees the similarities between the two animes? A red-haired heroine who grows from being a weak and unopinionated girl to become a kind and firm leader, fantasy settings, the music, even Hak's weapons and fighting style looks similar to Kantai's in Twelve Kingdoms! |

| I still can't get over the badass Yona in archer mode in the OP. I am so gonna enjoy all that development, and I am. That "oh well..." gave me feels. Such powerful dialogues esp. from Yona. Hak was badass there, a real man! Ah man, Yona! I love her so much! I am so gonna love this. Now this is how you write a character. 10/10, best episode. |
