Hit too much on the spot. Race with deadline is really stressful. Thankfully I'm never snap like Miyamori.

Man, I could feel Aoi and the production team's stress in this episode! I'm glad that its now over. I could understand now the feeling of making anime.

Director's change of Arupin's expression at the end was awesome, I can feel the pain.
The world shall know the truth soon.

"Have goth loli-sama check this!" LOL That was fun.

If this is what happens in the 3rd episode, I don't know what madness will happen next.
Over the top- yes!
I need to know these characters more, none of them are memorable enough to say anything, I'm not gonna try to memorise their names, I'll just call them chubby unfocus director, hyper eccentric main girl, irresponsible slightly vain guy with jock haircut, chick who is good at drawing 1, 2 and 3...................
The anime is made woohoo, was it worth that scene though mmmm, looks fine before.

I honestly love how hectic this series gets, makes me feel like I'm at an actual animation studio. Hm, Aoi seems like she'd be a great voice actress! I feel like that will happen soon.

I think the lesson we can all learn from this episode is no matter how bad an anime is, we shouldn't talk too badly about it because no matter what they are still the result of tears, blood, and sweat of people like Miyamori. Well.. unless it's Glasslip.

The retake at the end of the episode is worth it! Damn, the animation direction is darn great in this one. I could feel the rush and the hectic situation they were in. It's coming close to dorama level, I can feel it.

I really want to like this show, but it's so very bland. I mean it's interesting how realistic the show is, but all the drama feels very forced and rather inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. It might help if there was some sort of plot, no matter how simple, but for now, we're literally watching people (some slightly eccentric) working at an animation studio which isn't the most exciting premise.

Even they don't know the names and they call each other with things like "goth loli-sama". Btw now that that name was established no one of us will even know her name. We will all just call her the goth-loli girl.

Yeah you're right. Goth loli-sama is just too fun. I would love to see more of her. x)
I guess I don't feel that bad about not knowing any names to this point. This usually doesn't happen though.

This episode proves how heavy and big deal and stressful in making just 1 episode in an Anime Production/Industry.

Pretty crazy they had to go through all that trouble because of a few changes in a couple of seconds worth of animation. Quite liking this series so far.

This show is stressful, but you can literally feel the relief when they finished the episode, and that is very powerful.

Plus you have to hand it to the director, the change was definitely for the better.

Looking forward to the meeting between all the girls next episode!

Yet another hectic episode. Well, this show certainly does do a good job at keeping you on the edge of your seat. I knew that making anime was stressful, but if this is even remotely close to how hectic making an episode can be, I don't think that I'd ever want to make one.

I was really surprised when I saw that. The Director got annoying pretty fast in Episode Two but after seeing the direction he wanted to take it in, I concur, that was worth the hassle.

Who says that this series has no moe? Look at all the moe suffering:

All of these parts made me hnnnngggg pretty hard for Miyamori. I still wanna see more of the other girls before I claim who best girl is.

...anyone else want to actually watch Exodus after all of this? I kind of want to see Exodus actually be a thing. Because Arupin. XD
Will I fall in love someday? I wonder?

Massive deja vu watching Aoi run around, lose her mind at a desk, making sure people she entrusted tasks with are done by their dead line

Makes me appreciate my leisure time more. The end of the episode sums up my experience, drinks or dinner with the people you work with then onto the next project.

Such a demanding lifestyle

I disagree. The plot is pretty original and original stuff is supported on MAL. Besides, the ratings are pretty positive. I say it will most likely remain in 7.3-7.7 range.

Man, Miyamori sure is a hardworker. So much stuff going on, the studios have it rough as I used to think.

Arupin's expressions really improved near the end. Great job.

Great episode.

I liked episode 1 and 2, and i'm not saying episode 3 was bad, but i decided to drop the anime. There are just too many characters, whenever they talk about people, I can't remember the names and their position and there is no actual involvement with the character's feelings (except maybe the heroine). As someone who works in a stressful environment herself and knows what it's like to chase a deadline, I don't need to see that in my free time as well, i suppose? xD It's a bit of a pity, I think with more background story and connections/friendships/romantic relationships between staff or at home it would be much more interesting. This maybe a strange comparison, but f.e. in Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, which is about a manga publishing company, we do get a pretty good overview about how stressful that line of work can be, but it still leaves room for the private lives of the characters. I'm really missing this here. Oh well, i guess all in all the episode was alright.

Two hours ago, they sent out two tweets from the official Twitter account for
the series to remind fans to review the new technical terms that will be used in
Episode 4. Clearly the producers expect that fans will "do their homework" so
that they can properly follow the story.

I think I will call this inside a new (sub)genre : "Educational". Since Edugames/ Serious Games is a thing, I don't see why this should not exist in anime too.

It's also quite entertaining. Kinda relate too since I'm also in the chase of deadline lel

Great episode, for me Shirobako pass the exam, and enters the TV series to follow with higher priority.
Narration boring to some, but interesting for those who want to learn about the subject.
The drawings are great and the characters are becoming more diverse in the way they do and interact, I love it.
The animations are good, as are the scenes.

Aoi didn't need a "Hataraki" mode to get the stressful job done
She got to rely on teamwork which was nice

Also the noise coming from knocking over a trash bin, because the animator is drawing in the zone was a very good scene at the start

That was one absolute total mess! But I'm glad they make it on time.

Other than that there was not much other than checking everything in this episode but I guess that's how animation is done. It felt more like an document though this time. And I am always on look-out for some mistakes P.A.Works does in this show to relate it to this anime but so far they are doing pretty good.

Next time we will see all girls once again together - finally. I wonder what happens when ep4 is done. Some SoL moments of relax perhaps?
