I wouldnt bother watching one. I wonder what makes people so .........very annoying clinging on real life stuff when anime isnt about that. It's like Jimmy Carr said about ultimate sexual fantasy. In terms of male-oriented ecchi/harem anime, there's High School DxD and Rizelmine, where the MC's parents are accepting and supportive of random strange girls moving into their houses to be with their sons. | The only normal family you could ever agree on would be those family who have barely have any screen time but enough that you know they're there and that they exist. Once you learn more about that 'family' you'll no doubt disagree that they're anything but normal. You need to know less about them to consider them normal even if they truly aren't. If the viewers find even one thing that they don't find normal with their definition, then they're not normal. Oh his family is on a trip and major events just happen to be occurring while they're out, totally not normal. Oh the son and mother live alone while the son does all the house work, totally not normal. etc etc |

It was shown and stated early in the series how was their kind of relationship, a very close one with the mother acting like Madoka's confidant; this eventually got deteriorated when the mother noticed that Madoka didn't tell her what was going on, leading to a progressive emotional distancing and in her case, frustration, which I think explains very well the context of the scene at the bar. Of course she can't act properly as a mother and that is precisely what torments her. More examples... what about Ghiblies? Shizuku has a completely ordinary and loving family. Chihiro's parents are totally normal as well, except in their pig form. Taeko has I think a perfectly normal family scenario, for the 60s at least. Or even Kiki, though her situation isn't what I'd call normal. |
