I first watched Toradora 3 years ago and I disliked it, but upon seeing it for the second time a few months ago it became one of my favorite animes...weird.

Evangelion.

Also Code Geass, because I watched it over such a long period of time the first viewing, and it was much better with all the details of everything fresh.

This. I really enjoyed it the first time as well, but watching it a second time had me notice more things than I did the previous time, and I loved it even more.

Itazura na Kiss after watching countless romance.

Because it was so refreshing to have a romance go beyond the normal "hey we like eachother." Then bam end of series.

Not sure if I enjoyed it more, but I was recently reminded of how good the first season of Chihayafuru was when I rewatched it.

Paprika. It was easier to follow the narrative and spend less time worrying what the hell has happening on screen.

Serial Experiments Lain - This time I actually knew what was going on!

Kino no Tabi - I developed a much greater level of appreciation for it this time around because I could delve deeper into the philosophical ideas and issues brought up in it.

I have quite a few.

Paranoia agent - Everything came clearer in rewatch and I actually noticed the pattern I missed, that made some of the in-between episodes feel as if they were out of the main story.

Nausicaa - I found it rather confusing with its plot exposition and a bit dull, but on rewatch this changed. Among other reasons because I managed to understand and follow everything in the storyline better, but also because due to its nature and emotionally intensity the movie has a strong rewatch value.

Porco Rosso - Enjoyed it a lot in my first time, found it more compelling and fascinating in the second.

+1 to all of this.

Evangelion and Lain, I loved from the beginning, but the more I rewatched it, the better it got because of all of the new details you noticed every single time.

FLCL and 5 Centimeters Per Second, I didn't get too into until I watched multiple times. Even now, they're still not my favorite works in the world, but I have a much more positive insight on them now than I did in the past.

I've yet to rewatch Kino no Tabi, but I enjoyed that one the first time, and I feel it's one of those that'd grow on you the more you watch; like Eva and Lain too.

Probably Monster. At first it was still good, but I was clueless here and there, forgot the characters names, etc. But watched it for the second time and really enjoyed it and actually knew stuff.

I wouldn't say that it's better on a second viewing, but I will say it makes me feel just as miserably sad on repeat viewings.

Oh, and Evangelion... but for that, to end up loving it, you would end up watching it more than twice.

Seen Baccano! twice now. First time, I enjoyed it immensely. Second time, I enjoyed it even more, mainly because I was able to follow the plot and recognize the characters far more easily, and I even found out abut things I didn't notice the first time through.

All of my 10s, there's somethings I don't realize the first time. None of my 10s actually became one without being rewatched.

So One Piece, Tsumiki no Ie, Nichijou, Cross Game, and Hajime no Ippo.

Which also means that there are some 8s and 9s that if I rewatch, could become a 10.

I have had a couple 10's after one watch, but this was the same for me with Dragonball/Nichijou. Dragonball I had seen 2+ times before I ever started listing/rating my anime, so I dunno there. But Nichijou I had rated a 9 after the first watch, because there were some scenes that I didn't find funny personally. But upon re-watching, I saw that even those few scenes were expertly crafted; and that if I wasn't gonna give this a 10 I'd probably never give out another 10.
