| This can be based on Fate/Stay Night along with Fate/Zero as well if you previously watched this series like I did. ^_^ My favorite character to date is actually between Rin and Ilya. Rin has always been one of my favorite characters, and Ilya is just SO adorable, I love looking at her every time she pops up. |

| Well, if you count all of the Fate characters in general then obviously right now characters like Saber and Rin win out as they are characters I know...I can't say I know the characters in Fate/Zero as of yet. But, the characters I am personally most interested in as of yet are probably Kiritsugu, Kirei, Rider, and Berserker. |

| After watching Fate/Stay Night, it was Saber and Gilgamesh. Both were pretty high on my top favorites list. After going through Fate and UBW routes, it's still the same. Though I think my like for Gilgamesh increased. After going through UBW movie, it was the same. I forgot whether I read Fate/Zero novel before or after UBW movie (I think it was before), but after reading some parts of Fate/Zero, Rider gradually became another favorite character. I loved his character even more after reading the whole novel. I remembered I debated for a long time about who I like the most out of these three characters: Saber, Gilgamesh and Rider. It was really hard for me to choose. But I think after a while, I decided to come to this conclusion: 1. Gilgamesh 2. Rider 3. Saber. I would say Gilgamesh and Rider are pretty close though. I still say Rider has some of the best characterization (and personality) I've seen at least in Fate/Zero. But I have an odd, strong attachment to Gil and his character. I still don't know why up to this day. *looks back at my long comment* For such a simple question, I made a pretty long comment lol =X |

| Kohaku Kotomine is my favorite. My favorite female character is probably Rin, but I really liked all 3 heroines about equally. Rin only wins because her combination of sardonic and playful is just so perfect. If only she were what epitomized modern tsundere instead of those Kugimiya loli-things. |

Pretty much completely agree with this post, especially that last sentence. I quite like Saber, particularly in the VN, because her back story was incredibly well done. It didn't go into a huge amount of detail, but it did do a great job of showing her motivation and even explained a great deal about how she acts. I can't say anything about Sakura, because i haven't read Heaven's Feel yet. I also think I'm growing to like Shirou more each route. |

| Kotomine and Kariya. I would say Sakura as well, but her role in Fate/Zero is quite small. |
| From F/SN that's Rin and Archer. In F/Z so far I really love Rider (he's funny and just genereally great guy), Kariya (poor guy :( ), Kiritsugu (he's definetely an interesting person) and Irisviel (especially I love her interactions with Saber) |

| So far, I really like Kariya and berserker the best. I like the darker story that surrounds both. Apart from that, Iskander is a real bro :). As for Fate/Stay Night, my favorite character was Archer (not Gilgamesh). I would've really liked to learn more about caster. She was easily, in my opinion, the most beautiful of all the characters but we never got to see enough of her, even in the VN. The UBW route was the only one she played a significant role. I hear she plays more of a role in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia |

| A pretty hard decision, as I find all the F/Z characters to be very likeable. Kiritsugu and Kirei intrigues me the most, so maybe them. |

| To be honest, I think almost every character in F/Z is interesting so far. Lancer and Ryuunosuke (or whatever that serial killer's name was), I find boring, but others are interesting. My favourite character would be Gilgamesh. I like his personality the most so far and I also find him more interesting than others. "Who gave you the permission to gaze upon me, rabid dog?" Lines like these are just awesome. Irisviel is also great, she is probably the best wife I've ever seen in any anime. Kirei is likable too. |

| Rider and Archer have to be my two favorite prominent servants, Berserker will be a favorite once he gets more solid screentime. My favorite two masters have to be Kirei (Did you see that fanservice shot in the latest episode? ;D) and Kiritsugu. Retrospectively, Kariya will be a favorite just like Berserker in time. |

| I'm loving every character so far except Kayneth and team Caster. My favourites would probably be Lancer, Rider and Gilgamesh. I also love Berserker's abilities but I need to see more of him to know if I will like him. |

I mean halfway through the freaking route he's all but thrown away that silly "girls should not fight" idea in favor of teaming up with Saber.
