I mean, yeah, good on granny for redeeming herself. Wee bit late for that, but hey, it’s the thought that counts. God knows how disappointed she must’ve been with herself after basically causing the chain reaction that led to... well, the whole show happening in the first place lol. Still, I’m definitely disappointed. Like really, it’s the last episode and they couldn’t even play the first OP or anything? At least do that. Meh. Though hey, we got the iconic Deku and Bakugo flashback that was spammed back in season one back at least though right! xD

Some of this was anime original I’m pretty sure, and thank god for that. It really needed it because if my memory serves right, that final chapter felt super rushed on first read and nowhere near the payoff I imagined. But here, thankfully we at least got the bare minimum: the fucking graduation, like seriously even now, I still don’t know what Hori was thinking skipping that. So yeah, thank god we got it here. And hey, they might’ve missed out on the first OP, but they fucking played HERO TOO!! (little snippet tbf but HEY!)

But yeah, the rest of the episode played out mostly the same as the chapter, I’m pretty sure. The timeskip and all that with Deku becoming a teacher, everyone else going on to become great heroes, we always knew that’s how it would end, be so fr. I was excited to see how they’d adapt All Might grabbing the end card from the chapter into the anime though, and honestly they did it perfectly here, like really lmao. So yeah, Deku gets his own Iron Man suit, and now this is the story of how they all became great heroes. Yeah... just as cheesy as how we started really. Not much changed from beginning to end, and honestly, good on that.

But uh, yeah.. I’m still not sure we needed Shigaraki’s cameo here in any shape or form LOL.

Been quite the ride with this series, some decent hights and some VBERY, VERY low lows but in the end this show has changed anime a lot, that's something we all can't deny wehter we like the series or not. so yeah, one last time, go beyond.

I thought they’d expand upon a few things from the manga, but yeah, guess not. If we sit back for once and think it through, I think it’s okay. All the bad guys are dead so yeah, seeing these kids making it through their next two years without playing much of a hero wouldn’t have been fun right? Classic finale with the future timeskip and such. Deku still looks like the kid he was though, just that he has grown a bit and is playing the teacher now lol.

Two lookalikes in a single episode going through the same stuff, ain’t something which I think anybody would’ve seen coming lol. But anyway, it’s the happy ending. People haven’t died and they’re living their life. Fitting for this series xD

Now yeah, this has always been that one series which people have both loved and absolutely grilled and honestly, that tracks. I mean it makes sense as well, when you somehow make it through 8 seasons and such, there’d be ups and downs. Never been the greatest fan of this series, but yeah, making it though till the end… after all these years, will always give you a sense of fulfillment. I still think the series dropped the ball from the fourth season onwards, I mean it did pick up later, but yeah, for me, the first three seasons would still be what made this series, THE series it is today. This one being the best btw, for obvious reasons.

Like I said, we might get a few additional OVAs in the future or movies too, but yeah, the trend of seeing a full fledged season every year or year and a half ends here. No more new seasons and claims of “this time it’d get better” anymore lol. Despite having a love-hate relationship, I think i’d miss this.

The timeskip designs are pretty good to see them animated! Sad to see one of my first battle shounen I started watching around the time I started to watch Anime seriously to go after almost 10 years. A satisfying conclusion to the main story, sure it's far from perfect and there's still some questions left but overall its one of the best endings to battle shounen series. Thanks production team, the director, the animation studio, etc., all the Anime staff present, including those who are no longer here, for giving their all to produce this last season and the series in general. I'll miss BNHA a lot even if we still have the spin-off around. Goodbye BNHA, one of best modern Big 3.

After 9.5 years, MHA finally comes to a close...

Hawks wanting to change the Hero Billboard system so that the negatives will not outweigh the positives, as the world turns back to normal with any chance of villains being vanquished before they start wreaking, thanks to Izuku's efforts in motivating the general public - a society where heroes are not expending their resources to fight evil.

From the very beginning, Izuku and Bakugo's rivalry, which paved the way for everything that came forth as Izuku retains being U.A.'s one of many homeroom teachers after going back Quirkless, alongside Spinner leaving his legacy publishing his own book as one of the final remnants of the League of Villains, and Class 1-A going into 2-A, and then their eventual graduation from U.A. with Iida being valedictorian for his closing speech, with One for All's usage...not quite done yet.

The new generation of heroes influenced by everyone involved in the war against All For One, and one such student of Dai wanting to enlist into U.A. as a hero, when they're not needed in the 8-year timeskip ever since to branch out to their own work aspirations. This is all happening while Aizawa and Izuku remains the same in U.A. to live up to the promise of nurturing future heroes, alongside the All Might statue that still remains much a symbol of hope as ever, as Izuku can only hope to encourage people through his story...

...if only All Might didn't appear as a surprise passing One For All's technology to Izuku to progress the Quirk further.

The story of how they became heroes as we watch them grow from strength to strength, this is not just MY Hero Academia, but OUR Hero Academia.

A great tribute to finally see Class 1-A evolve into the heroes they are today

A near-decade affair for MHA's time as a TV anime series, what a fitting end this is, even if the manga-turned-anime ending is somewhat lackluster.

A very Deku ending.

Honestly not sure what to think at this point. So much that's too predictable, and while some of it's perfectly alright, some of it just feels like it could've been different. Could've done better by certain characters. Great to see all those faces one last time in a more organic way during graduation, but then the rest is there because it has to be, and as expected, kinda iterative too.

It's been a journey, that's for sure... and now it's over, and for better or worse, it sure leaves a hole after itself.

Great soundtrack, in any case.

Thank you, Horikoshi, for showing us this amazing story of how Izuku Midoriya… no—how they all became the No. 1 Heroes!

This franchise has had its ups and downs, that’s no secret. Yet it has never once failed to inspire me to push past my limits and go PLUS ULTRA. From reading the manga to now finishing the anime, the journey has been an absolute pleasure. I genuinely hope we’ll continue to see more of Deku and Class 1-A… 2-A… and eventually, the fully graduated heroes they’re destined to become.

My Hero Academia has truly been one of those rare series that leaves a lasting mark. Its blend of heartfelt character growth, compelling stakes, and unapologetic optimism makes it something special. The way it shows young heroes and villains striving for their individual ideals through setbacks, triumphs, and everything in between, sets it apart from so many other shōnen stories. It’s a series that consistently reminds us why we root for heroes in the first place: not because they’re perfect, but because they choose to keep moving forward. And for that, it will always hold a place in my heart.

I must also thank the composer Yuki Hayashi for making some of the best OST tracks I have ever heard, from bangers like You Say Run and Mighty U to new tracks like At the Limit and Butterfly Effect. This guy has changed my taste in music for the better and I love anything he produces :D

To end with my favourite quote of the series from the greatest hero of all time ALL MIGHT, "So no matter how scary things get, give 'em a smile, as if to say, 'I'm a-ok'. The people in this world who can smile are always the strongest."

Hard to believe this series has been apart of my life just as long as Attack on Titan has. And so it comes to an end. My Hero had some moments man...some seriously good ones, frustrating ones and wtf ones. I still have my criticisms even now with this series but to see it get a conclusion, it's like...feels like I can close a chapter of my anime life now. For all its highs and lows...one thing that MHA (or BNHA) has taught me is:

We are all fundamentally connected to one another. Each of us has the potential to do great things or succumb to unfortunate circumstances. Everyone has something about them that gives them a place in the world, in society as a whole. Choosing how to contribute to it no matter how big or small just takes one small step to go beyond what is trying to hold you down. And at the end of the day, no matter how extraordinary you are, you can make a difference by just taking a moment and reaching out your hand to someone else.

Thank you for the years, MHA. Plus Ultra.
Don't believe the hype.

I may have had many, many problems with this series in its full, but seeing this finally end does make me feel a bit old. When I really got into anime, season 2 was just a few months around the corner. And with the hundreds upon hundreds of seasonals I've followed since then, this show was one constant that I experienced at some point in my year. Insane it got this far but fair play. This season wasn't perfect either for me but compared to a lot of what I saw before, this was one of the better ones from the series. And the episode here while okay for me, did give some solid enough closure with some more to show compared to the manga.

Funny enough, with John Cena retiring today in wrestling, today's quite the day to make me feel old. Both his wrestling story and this series left me super conflicted with highs and extreme lows. But despite my mixed to negative experiences a lot of times, can say this will be missed.

I'm so overwhelmed. The experience is so complete that I've nothing to add. Before this episode, I used to say that this anime ask a big question about how to prevent a tragedy like this from happening again but didn't offer any answer, but this episode just hints at what the answer might be.

The villain rate is declining because there's a shift in society's collective consciousness.

The post-AFO&OFA society doesn't classified people into hero and villain anymore, instead, the new categories are "people that can offer help" and "people that need help"

The new mind set has open so much opportunities. No need to wait for hero if you can offer help, people that can offer help can also ask for help if they need, and there's nothing wrong about asking for help, you don't need to suppress the trauma and becomes a villain.

Again, this is not about finding a correct answer, but finding the answer together, with help of advancing technology that reduce inequalities between people with weak quirk and people with strong quirk. All parts of society play their part in achieving peace. The peace that's not "the absence of bad events" but "if bad events happen, don't worry, there'll always be someone there to help you".

My Hero Academia doesn't just offer something nice to look at but also something nice to think about. This is one of the very rare occasion where amazing source material meets amazing adapter, I used to praise a lot on composer and Studio Bones, but for the finale, I'm praising anyone, no matter if they're sponsor or janitor, thank you for make this anime happen. I can't wait to praise them again at the end of Vigilante spin-off, I'm more than 100% sure it'll also be an extraordinary journey.

PS: Deku married with Bakugo and no one can change my mind.

Man they added so much needed content to this episode that wasn't in the manga's ending. A detailed look at the shigi-like kid's upbringing, extended looks at the fates of all the characters pre-graduation, the graduation itself, an extended sequence of all the post-timeskip characters and their powers, the text dump with visuals on the fates of all the characters post-graduation.

Not only did it do a relatively good job exploring the post-timeskip world but the narrative of Deku inspiring underpowered kids with big dreams, like he used to be, is a wonderful way to wrap up his arc (not to mention the whole getting a iron man suit so he can continue being a hero). They haven't even adapted the extra chapter in the final volume that ties an even greater bow on the series' themes and plot threads.

I don't think the finale is by any means perfect, but this might be one of the best finales of a long running anime in the last decade. I can see the finale being a bit stereotypical for some, but this ending is as 'My Hero Academia' as it gets. Incredibly cheesy but undeniably endearing. 5/5

Deku, my son. I'm so proud of you.

What an incredible journey it was that just came to an end. They all grew up and look so good. Everyone has their own professions and lives now, where they still act as heroes for future generations, and Deku is still being the sunshine is a role model for other kids. I'm proud. All Might has also given him a new way to keep going further, thanks to all his friends as well.

I can't believe that the show I started back in the day has finally come to an end. I have had my ups and downs with it, just like everyone else who watched the show, but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't tear up when it's now ending.

And, I'm very happy with the way it ended, and I'm very grateful to everyone who was involved in this show. Thank you, Horikoshi sensei. Thank you to all the Bones Staff and everyone, all the Voice Cast, and all the people who watched it.

Thank you so much for everything. MY HERO ACADEMIA. I will miss you a lot.

So is this the final episode? Honestly it Feels Kinda weird, cuz it was one of my gateway to anime. What a time it was!!!

Kinda Dropped the series During the UA Festival arc ig ....s4 in the middle, after Overhaul Fight. 3yrs ago.

Anyone, sell the rest of the series to me. I'm eager to hear all the expectations and precautions I should heed. I don't hate it. Just got hit with that monotone feel after s3.

I could still say, Thank You MHA at least, cuz it did help me during my highschool, through tough times. Or I should say "Thank You Deku".

I’d my issues with the series but man, it’s always great when a show lands the finale like these 10 episodes did! I was thinking the final arc was only going to get worse since it was doing exactly that towards the latter half of S7 imo but that extra time that the staff took side paid dividends!

I honestly thought the ep ended with that first “the end” and I was thinking that’s a little melancholic but well, there’s All Might with the magic potion. Lovely to see, that’s the last thing Deku deserves and Kacchan seems to have mellowed down a little only to him xD. Also, props to the staff for the extra effort with the fancy details.

What a grad ceremony, why wasn’t mine like that lmao. Just when I was thinking that Bakugo is awfully cooperative. We aren’t fully done with the series however though, there’s the vigilante s2 in about a month’s time but I do wonder what the next big Bones thing will be and how lucky it’ll be for that series!

Awesome to see the characters post the timeskip too, and not much development on the romance front sadly. All in all,

The series was really up and down, but the last season has been pretty solid. The epilogue was a bit on the long side, but on the other hand it's nice that they actually close storylines down neatly and none of that rushed you get 30 seconds in the credits after the final battle crap that so many do.

After nearly a decade of watching each season as they aired, it finally comes to a close. It feels weird to refresh the MAL homepage and there isn't an immediate news announcement of a 9th season in production.

Some people say MHA dropped the ball with its ending, like many Jump manga seem to, but seeing it again a year and some change after the manga ended last year makes me stand firm in my belief that this ending was perfectly fine. I'd even say that, by Jump series standards, it's actually a "good" ending.

My love for this series may have waned over the years after season 3 or 4, but it was still part of my life for a long time, and seeing a popular long-running series come to an end after so long will always leave a bittersweet feeling. Love it or hate it, it feels like a chapter is closing within all of the lives of those of us who made it here to the finish line. Thanks for the memories, My Hero Academia!!

Almost 10 years after the first anime..

I like how this anime doesn't lie about "final" season like other anime. I thought there will be another season at first lol.

I was afraid the ending will be bad because I heard people didn't like the manga ending but turned out the ending is pretty good. They even have 2 extra episodes for the epilogue story.

I like this anime from start to finish and I like how the author handles the characters and their quirks.

I'm hoping they made one more movie when everyone is grown up.

I'm wondering what happened to the Vigilante characters, they are not shown at all in the main series. Are they dead in current time?

What made me a bit disappointed is there's no more development between Ochako and Deku. I was hoping they are already married when Deku started the Naration story lol.

Overall pretty good!

Anyway, she didn't hesitate to reach out her hand this time.
Looking back at how our heroes have started out and how far they have come and continue to be brought tears to my eyes.
Midoriya still guides the younger generation and continue to be a hero with the support item..so happy for him. 🥹❤️
The All Might statue is now accompanied with statues of all the people, quirk or quirkless those don't matter anymore ❤️❤️
So sad to say goodbye to one of my favorite shows of all time.

I started this show when I was 15 years old. This was the first anime that I had ever obsessed over. I made this my wallpaper, talked about it with my friends, found this on my own, watched weekly and is the reason I watched so many great anime over the years. That was 9 years ago and I still remember the Shoto Todoroki: origin episode and season 2 like it was yesterday. This was such an important part of my life and even though I fell out of love with it from season 4-6, I came back in love with it from season 7 and this final season. This was not the best anime I had ever seen but it was the best most important and fun show that I watched that truly connected with me and actually gives me nostalgia. Some episodes and moments still take me back and make me smile and hyped even after I have seen them 100s of times.

I can't believe its over. I didn't ever interact with the manga so I didn't feel this when that ended but rn I truly feel like such a huge part of my childhood or my teen years is over. Feels like my childhood is over and its finally time to become an adult. I feel emotional but still happy that I was alive to start and witness the end of this amazing show that I will never forget and will think about and smile when I do whenever I look back on it.

Goodbye and Thank you My Hero Academia <3.

There it is, after 170 episodes and almost 10 years, the series comes to an end. I did worry about the mid seasons, but the last 2 were redeeming, especially this last one. Ep8 was so peak.

It good to see the quick "How are they now" ending, especially with a series this long. I can see Deku as a teacher with how inspirational he is, surely, he also deserves an Almight Statue.

When the Manga ended, I kept seeing Deku working at McD memes; I assume it was slightly different.

What a journey it has been, from watching the very first season back in April 2016 to watching its conclusion over 9 years later. The experience watching this series grow and grow has been incredibly enjoyable. Even during the weaker parts of the series around season 5, I stuck with My Hero Academia, believing that it would spring back up from those lows with strong moments later on and, thankfully, it did.

Seeing the epilogue and looking at what Midoriya and his friends are up to 8 years later was great. Midoriya becoming a teacher at UA was perfect for him and it looks like the class he's in charge loves him a lot, even if Aizawa thinks he should be more strict. XD

Same goes to seeing All Might (Or Old Might knowing that he's in his early 60's now) appearing and giving Midoriya a chance to help out his friends with the same advanced technology that helped All Might in his fight against All For One. The end credits was nice as not only we get to hear Bump Of Chicken's song play in full, but it went into detail about what everyone is up to 8 years after graduating UA.

While I do look forward to seeing more of the Vigilante story next season, this is a proper goodbye to the main series itself. It has been a blast and one that I will remember fondly for years to come. =)
