I never thought I'd see the day. Looks like the two still have some amusing drama/rivalry going on though. Speaking of drinking....lol, this episode bought out the funny side of Lyne. But at the same time, it's nice that she remembers everything that Licht has done for her. Just keep away from the booze |

| Was hoping for a more serious toned episode like how last week ended, but all we got for most of it was a drunken mess. Now a demon is a helicopter too? What. |
| When they arrived at Linden I instantly thought about that guy from first (or 2nd?) episode with intercom and it all looking like gun wounds, but all that talk about demon made me reconsider... then bam, fucking helicopter. |

| Well, it wasn't bad at all actually. Consider that the technology on this world isn't that evolved. Flying machines should't even exist, and remember that studying so is a taboo here. So, what's with the portal? Is is like the GATE anime or so where it connects with another world (this one being fantasy, the other being the "real" world)? |

| Gotta admit, the tension leading up to the emergence of the “demon” was pretty well done, and the sound effects made it genuinely creepy 😱 Certainly did not expect that reveal tho 😅 but it does add a new layer to this show that brings my interest level up considerably 🤔 |

| This adaptation is still awful, with lots of a filler edgy comedy and awful graphics. but finally, WE GOT A HELICOPTER *manga readers watch at the anime-only viewers* it's just the beginning |
| It really feels like they're purposely padding episodes because they want to get to a certain part of the story for certain episodes. Honestly this episode was jarring, I dont understand why they spent 75% of it drinking for no reason. I like the show and I love the author, but I can't defend this episode. It felt like a massive waste of time save for the ending. The twist with the helicopter was pretty great though. This whole show has portrayed itself as more of a fantasy magic show, so to see a modern day helicopter come out of the portal makes this a thousand times more interesting. Next week's episode is the name of the show, so it's gotta be good. |
| So this basically confirms the Abyss is a portal to earth...or at least a more modern world. I just am curious how the two worlds are connected and why counts exist in the current world. The helicopter Pilot looked cute but for it being the demon that caught me off guard. Lynn and Hina fighting over Licht was funny. Next week looks like it will pop off. |

| Ok when they started drinking what's with that bgm they had, totally didn't suit the situation.. with Plunderer at first I liked the concept and the story but the execution was done half-assed imo. and the VA dubbing sounds out of place! especially for Lyne and Pele .. and that AH-64 (I think) was too hilarious . |
| I love this show so much man. People like to shit on it, but it’s great to me. World is so fun and interesting. Hina chan alone is enough reason to continue. Also, Lynn's thighs Ok, holy shit I did not see this coming. My jaw legit dropped when the helicopter came out. So this pretty much confirms my theory that the abyss is basically like being isekai'd maybe into the modern world and then that world is colliding with the world of Licht and Hina? The ban on flying makes perfect sense now. |

| For this to be from the same writer who brought us Sora no Otoshimono, this shit is majorly disappointing. It's like the series does not know whether to be serious or just be a gag series that is episodic. I mean hell...SnO was comedic as hell but when it got serious, it kept the atmosphere going until the problem was solved. |

| So they wasted almost half of this episode with drinks and getting drunk and at the when we finally get to see the "Demon of the Abysss" it's actually not a Demon but a fuking helicopter !!!! WHAT THE FUCK !! |
| The demon of the abyss...what a joke. Shoddy and laughable below-average visuals aside, to have some being being able to fly, why is Licht always the spokesperson for this. Not to mention that Jail Murdoch seeking him for information in a town, that's not very gentlemanly to settle and risking innocent lives. In a (not so) funny way to resolve this, drinking alcohol as a settlement is just stupid, plus the segment to stretch "extra moments" as filler time. Amd to think that Lynn has a thing for Licht, trying to ask Hina about it is buzzkill. When the hole reappeared once again...the "demon of the abyss"...turns out to be helicopters from the remnants of the previous war. Like what? Even I can hear helicopter-like sounds clearer than I can predict that it was a freaking helicopter! Damn...felt like all those build-up is wasted potential both in manga and anime form. I'd understand Suu Minazuki more in Sora no Otoshimono, but not this one. |

| Hello, if you are arriving here now and questioning why the series is getting a low score, just think about the last 2 episodes. That's why, that's fair, that's more than it deserves. - Btw, if you think the chopper was random shit, wait even more in the next episode! - Also, a lot of of bitching being bitch. |
