| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yup, I would say that Mizuki is the most normal main character in this series so far. The boys are such goofballs with their exaggerated fantasies, especially that blonde guy. Even Kazuhiro (the one with the glasses) had a weird personality. At this rate, this is pretty much a comedy that pokes fun at the idea of chunibyo. Yamato is also pretty weird with the poses. |

| I like chuuni characters quite a lot in general and the dynamic between the girl and the crazy boys could be pretty fun. Not entirely sold on it yet though |

| This was a hectic start, things went by pretty fast. The characters r pretty interesting and lol she shouldn't have expected anythng from him, ofc he was talking about 2D female friends. Also I saw music tag in the genre, I wonder how music will fit in this series. |

| What I see in this is that age old adage: girls mature earlier than boys. In other words - boys are dumb. And this anime seems set to poke fun at it in the most delightful ways, without taking itself too seriously. Definitely looks like a solid choice to just switch your brain off and have some easy laughs. | OMFG this was an awesome first episode! So many scenes made me cry with laughter and i already love all the characters! I really like the way the story was told in a way that makes you question if the 4 boys are really deluded or if there might be something to the things they say instead of the usual 'everyone can tell they're nuts' thing that is presented in chuunibyou comedy! I can't wait for next weeks episode and for the last chuubyou gekihatsu boy to arrive! |

| A female 転校生 joins a class with a bunch of 中二病 idiots. They attempt to recruit her into their club, but ultimately just end up embarrassing her. The anime is a pure comedy not to be taken seriously. So far it's not that amazing, but I have a feeling this is one of those anime that I'll remember for whatever reason. It just seems like one of those settings that will feel comfy and nostalgic in a few years from now. I don't know why I get that feeling, but I do. |

| This was really entertaining for me. Watching the chunibyo boys act like well...chunibyo around her was really funny. I personally like the simplistic art style. The designs of the characters fit their personality, too, and are pretty nice. Originally I thought this was going to be a harem, lol. |

| That was alright. Comedy was a little hit or miss, but characters are interesting and the dynamic between all of them has potential. 5/10 for now. I feel like this has a low ceiling though. Estimate an early drop or a 4-6. |

| Found it pretty enjoyable and it made me laugh a couple of times; will definitely carry on watching it. I also really liked all the characters (especially Takashima) and can't wait to find more about the culprit lol |

It was pretty mediocre for me for most of the episode till the end when Noda had time to "kick" the falling hoop twice and still have time to wince in pain in between...ahahahaha But yeah, I agree with someone else saying the comedy is hit or miss and the next ep might be what breaks it for me (or not) |

| I'm usually not a big fan of chuunibyou characters, like, in Chuunibyou delusions, my favourite characters are Tooka and Nibutani, and in Genshiken my favourite character is Saki, but I think I might still stick around for this one. It's pretty funny and, while the art style doesn't really grab me, I like the premise so far, how the boys are a bit crazy but still essentially really nice and helpful people. Except Rei so far. He can go fuck himself. |
