| The Sternritter are always so macabre (remember Mask De Masculine and his cheerleading puddle of flesh) and this one is no exception. Pernida looked kind of helpless and sad with its nerves all numb and leaking out, but it still has its vollständig which was strong enough to shatter Hikifune's Cage of Life. Can't wait to see what Mayuri does next since how he handled Hitsugaya was so awesome. They never did find Yachiru. I read another thread where someone suggested that might be her underneath the cloak due to the shrinking size. Wouldn't that be awful? |

| It's hilarious how a lot of people are saying "Kenpachi isn't badass anymore". If you look at this fight compared to his fight with Ichigo, he wasn't releasing his spiritual pressure. Also, this fight specifically doesn't allow Kenpachi to stand out either. This quincy is similar to Crona(Soul Eather) in that his blood/nerves are a weapon. The more a melee fighter attacks (Maaka/Kenpachi), the higher the disadvantage. I agree that this chapter makes Kurotsuchi look badass. The world of bleach has so many variations in its fighters but it's still a rock-paper-scissors like world. This is a perfect example of "someone kenpachi cannot beat yet Kurotsuchi will always beat." |

| Good chapter. First in a while, which means we've got about a month or two of really bad chapters ahead of us now. Interesting how people seem to think Kenpachi is weak now. Kenpachi is a straight up melee, brute force fighter and this particular enemy cannot be beaten by straight up melee, brute force fighting. It does not make Kenpachi weak, Kenpachi is still quite strong actually, but these Sternritter are powerful and have unique abilities that give them certain advantages/disadvantages against the Soul Reapers. This is a fight for Mayuri, a fight that requires tactics, strategy, and intelligence. Kenpachi will get his fight later, I'm sure. Besides, he didn't even put 25% of his power into this one anyway. |

I'm excited to find out the full extent of Zaraki's power. I'm even more excited to find out more about Ichigo's changes though. The chapters about him gaining his zanpakuto's power after learning he was also a quincy really didn't solidify much information. It made me think he was using a fake zanpakuto that was made using his hollow powers. I can't wait for them to start revealing these two crazy strong fighters skills and potentials!!! |

| i swear people will always find some reason to bitch. this was an awesome chapter. this is the kind of stuff i want to see from bleach in its final arc. people bitching about zaraki getting his ass kicked are stupid. Kenpachi is about pure brute strength/power so of course he isn't gonna do well against an enemy that controls its opponent nerves. Mayuri, and Urahara, are probably the only ones that could beat this thing. even Ichigo would get his ass kicked by this thing. the only difference being is Ichigo wouldn't be this reckless. |
| ^ Ichigo has a good long range attack and way more speed than kenpachi to beat thing thing And yeah, this chapter was pretty bad. Not because Zaraki got his ass kicked, but because it's once again all talk and 0 motion. Kubo never leanred "exposition woven into the narative", at least not when it comes to battles. |

| This week Bleach chapter is like bleach-vibe chapter. This is the bleach I have known so far. Kenpachi tear off his arm like nothing proves that he is a boss. And Mayuri prove that he is greater than Zaraki. Long time no see 5/5 score. |
