| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, Goku's training is silly. I can't help but giggle a bit honestly. Some more interesting cameos from Beerus and Whis in the background. Seems like some of the scenes when Goku went Super Saiyan the first time is revisited. Pacing feels slow still for the plot but hey, I think it's getting to places. Getting slightly excited for the upcoming fights... Kinda cute seeing Android 18 with her family this episode :3 |

| I'm really glad to see that the anime isn't following the manga and is taking the time to actually flesh things out lot more....Lots of dialogue in this episode Still I'm gonna have to wait for the subs in order to see what they were talking about but I'm hoping that the part where in the manga, Beerus said that he told Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta doesn't get said that way The silly moments with Goku, Krillin and Beerus were great and also, I'm really not feeling King Kai's VA....He doesn't bring out the emotions of the character like the dub VA does so that's kind of a pet peeve for me tbh......The BoG stuff like the fish, SSJ Goku vs Frieza flashback and Bulma's party remained in tact for the most part so that's good Overall good episode and I can't wait until the battles starts.....Lol at how Piccolo reacted to Gohan's wedding picture xDDD |
| When is Funimation going to simulcast this? They haven't mentioned it once in their licenses. Dragon Ball is one of the biggest series they own, you'd think they'd be all over it. My guess is they're waiting to make the dub, but there's tons of people who are fine with watching subbed. I'm tired of waiting this long for subs. |

| God, animation in this episode has been the worst yet. Though, from the preview, episode 4's animation looks promising. I'll have to wait for subs for a proper opinion, but it seems like they threw a lot of information regarding Beerus and Whis in there. Unless it's just regurgitated stuff from BoG & interviews. Also, Jouji Yanami sounds even weaker than last week, damn it.... He should just be replaced, his narrator voice is fine, but he obviously can't play Kaio anymore when his health is like this :[ No episode next week :( |

| So they actually changed the site of the party to a cruiser. Cool. I guess the manga chapter had wrong translations or they just changed stuff for the heck of it? There were no "I sent that dinosaur guy to destroy the Earth" stuff here lol They also reanimated some of the Goku vs Frieza stuff ^^; Pilaf nxt ep... And did I see Mrs. Brief with opened eyes :O |

| 3. Where Does the Dream Continue?! Find Super Saiyan God! Original Airdate: July 19, 2015 As Goku continues training with King Kai the deity speaks with the Supreme Kais regarding Lord Beerus. They all agree that it would be for the best if Goku remained ignorant of the God of Destruction. Arriving home with Whis, Beerus bathes and confirms his premonition regarding Super Saiyan God with the Oracle Fish. On Earth, Krillin and his family get caught in traffic on the way to Bulma's birthday party aboard a luxury ship. They decide to fly instead and meet some friends on the way. Aboard the ship, Bulma learns both Goku and Vegeta are too busy training to attend. The Supreme Kais can only look on as Beerus heads towards King Kai's, determined to find the Super Saiyan God. This week was another fun outing in our retelling of Battle of Gods. I really loved our scenes with Krillin's family. 18's smile when Chiaotzu made Marron laugh was so nice. It's always nice to see everyone. Man, Gohan and Videl's wedding photo was great, and Piccolo's reaction? Priceless. :D Also, never change Master Roshi...not that you would. :D And of course, I'm glad Buu got a scene. On the Beerus front I think the anime staff did a good job allowing us to get to know him a bit better, his quirks and personality. Whis too for that matter, loved his blushing reaction to Beerus in the bath. :D So yeah...good stuff this week! :D Rating: 7/7 This Week in Buu: Buu argues with Bulma about what else? Food! :D Did You Notice?: Beerus doesn't seem to mind farting in his baths. :D Also, Videl's leggings vanish and re-appear randomly. Next: The return of the Pilaf gang! |
| Man, King Kai's voice is so unfitting it's funny. His movements completely do not match with his slow and relaxed voice. Swell. This is the only complaint I have from Japanese Dub, I like all the other ones. Goku training and lifting those huge weights is nice to see. The Saiyans' never ending warrior spirit is nice to see. LOL at the moment when Goku noticed something wasn't right and it was just Bulma's birthday party. Interesed to see again the encounter of Bills and SSJ3 Goku, and that one-finger push-away. | After seeing the subs, it's even more apparent now that the manga translations were off so that a good thing but the timeline seems to be very off since I'm sure that it's been at least a day since episode 1 yet Old Kai said it's been half a day since Beerus started destroying stuff so I'm confused..... I guess we'll know when Beerus slaps the shit out of Bulma....If she days 39th Birthday party then the timeline is fucked again lol |

The animation makes him act like there should be loads of emotion and expression, I found it to be the best parts of these last few episodes. Got to see Krillin in this episode so 10/10 |

| Goku and Vegeta are continuing their training while Lord Beerus is continuing his search for the Super Saiyan God. I wonder how many more episodes it will be until Goku goes Super Saiyan God mode and then Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan . ~Great episode!!! |

| I'm loving this so far and it was great to see them remake Battle of Gods slower pace and seeing the many cute and funny moment.I wish they could animate Gohan and Videl weeding, Goke in a costume is just win, Videl was so beautiful and Piccolo was funny looking at the picture.I guess in next 2 episodes we will see Goku vs Beerus on King Kai planet. |
| That was a very enjoyable episode, and it looks like catman in coming to town. Can't wait till next week. On a side note, King Kai's voice actor does not fit, at all. He is literally the only member of the cast i have a problem with. |

| am I the only one wondering about Whees way of travelling? I guess he knows about instant transmission, so my only guess is that this is again all for the plot? Im not gonna search the logic in Dragonball, but after toryama stated that instant means instant, I wonder why the Gods of whatever choose to fly in "hyperspace" and I hope we will see the reason for whees relation to beerus. He is stronger than him, so I wonder what is going on. also the art is OK, but for some reason all females look so cheap ._. what have they done to my childhood waifu c18.. |

Besides what makes you think he knows about it? Your complain is rather weird considering that Goku's instant transmission has been treated many many times as something special that, from the whole cast, only he can use so it would be weird if someone else suddenly knew it. I mean, the gods don't even know where he learned it so how are they supposed to be able to use it? Beerus couldn't even recall the name of "super whatever" he was looking for. | King Kai's voice acting seems to be getting gradually lazier. His character was jumping around and emoting but he was still casually reading his lines. Really disappointing that this has continued for another week and is probably not gonna improve. On the other hand, I'm definitely getting used to Goku's voice. I also just thought it sounded better this ep, especially when Goku was eavesdropping on King Kai. This really was by far the best episode so far, though. It felt a lot more like watching DBZ as a kid, probably because they seemed to focus on a lot more characters than prior here and I got to see Android 18 again. It was great seeing Piccolo embarrassed because he blinked in Gohan's wedding photo too lmao. Also, are Beerus and Whiz married? Like, they've got to be married. Especially with Whiz making Beerus all these handmade bentos and blushing when he sees his dick. Plus they bicker like an old married couple with that "is this the fastest you can go?" section. They've even got a pet fish. |

| I am so happy that every week I get a new DOSE of DragonBall. It feels very surreal. The only thing I continue to dislike is King Kai's Seiyuu. He talks like he's half asleep. WAKE THE HELL UP, if you are angry speak like you are angry. DAMN. Other than that, the episode is prelude to BoG, which at first I was against, but now, I don't think it will be exactly the same. A lot of different things will be changed. |

| Damn good episode! Got more into story about Super San God. Beerus stood up while taking a bath and Whis saw his junk and was embarrassed.. maybe Whis swings dat way? shiiiii~ Beerus was licking his bracelet instead of his fur lol. Again didn't like the calm King Kai voice acting while screaming. Roshi and Oolong staring at the ladies, funny stuff |
| The first half was kind of boring. Nice to see Krilin and his family, along with the other Z warriors. |
