| surprised a lot of people did not like this episode, i though it was great it explains why Ikaku did not use his Bankai to beat Ichigo. And also why he is so damn strong even though he is not a captain. |
| It was a great flashback episode. Ikkaku, Renji and even Kenpachi got some nice development there. Now, Ikkaku's Bankai doesn't seem so random any more. |

We just haven't seen the stronger ones take action yet. The flashback was pretty good. Some development for Ikkaku and Kenpachi. Kenpachi really needs to make his appearance in this arc. I want to see him kick some ass. |

| a-aah.... Yumichika was way prettier in this flashback than he is regularly ;_;'! -nice with a lil' bit of backstory every once in a while -w-.. too much of it is just boring tho, ...poor Hanataro _xD and no, i don't think that's it Kon, i don't think that's it.. |

| I don't know if I missed something, but how exactly did Ikkaku and Yumichika become Shinigamis so quickly? Like, they heard that Kenpachi become captain and he saw his squad for the first time but Ikkaku and Yumichika are instantly there and are wearing the regular Shinigami clothes. Did they just stole them or what? Maybe I skipped some lines or something? |
