This was extremely entertaining, and extremely well animated. (aside from how sloppy most of the cuts in ep 5 were)
it's soundtrack was also fantastic with even the op and ed being bangers. I wish the banter was a bit stronger overall, but at it's best it was pretty damn good. I wasn't a huge fan of the voice acting, at least in the dub. The worst but also potentially best part is...
I think with the way it has been set up, a season 2 would be WAY better than this one. All the dynamics have been built, the world has been set, the generic bad guy has been defeated, if it gets a season 2, and I REALLY hope that it does, I think it can be something special.
anyway despite the internet hate train for anything they don't want to like, I really enjoyed this from start to finish. This felt like it had a LOT of outsourcing cause even when it looked great, the visual style and even art style was not consistent, so I' hoping wit actually handles most of the potential s2 themselves.

It was not some groundbreaking show but I never expected to get 10/10 out of this.
But did I have fun? Hell yeah. Still- both the writing and art were very incostistent.
Final reveal was great but not sure if I am interested to watch second season.
it's like 5 or 6/10 for me. A bit on the forgettable side. Still miles better than current DC comics and games
Aside from the Sailor Moon transformations, I have no idea where the Harley's hyenas came from.
Does King Shark regurgitate the inedible things eaten like clothes or metals? I can't imagine it'd be too comfortable to walk around with a sword in his stomach.
I'm surprised that Katana was never in the other world in the first place, but being impersonated by none other than Joker of all people. Although I can't say I'm 100% surprised because Joker took over as the big bad in Batman Ninja too.
So it's the end, huh. They set it up for a possible 2nd season, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that, given the ratings which looks to be about right where I'd put it too.
Overall, the animation and character designs were great, and I loved the princess losing her shit the most after taking Hayley as a role model. But suicide squad is still suicide squad in the end, which was exactly as I expected it to be, story-wise; nothing of substance worth mentioning. This series was precisely what it said on the tin: suicide squad in another world...another generic show to add to the saturated pile of other stale isekai shows that don't attempt to break the mold or add any originality to the subgenre.
I liked it, MAL didn't. I just wanted zany. Also this is the best timeline for Harls and Joker, back to their generic insanity, which is best.
I kind of want a Joker sequel. I don't know if WIT despised making this, I think people are projecting, they seemed to have fun. People just can't stand they made a WB project.
This was prime Harley, for me anime can do no wrong, so thought it was great. It was crazy balls and that was my bar.
Harley made this show fun for me and that's honestly enough. The plot is just isekai but DC. The transformation scenes were dope; always count on anime to deliver the magical girl transformation scenes.
Behold of my awesomeness~

But my feels.
Oho~ these last episodes were very enjoyable. I was somewhat bored midway.
The animation was very nice for most of the time (except in a few episodes which was kinda of inconsistent - such as ep. 5- but far away from spoiling the overall enjoyment).
I am not much familiar with the characters (but surely I know Harley Quinn. I mean, she's pretty famous), so I watched it with a pretty neutral stance. It was an anime for pure enjoyment; don't take it serious, just enjoy.
Probably this anime either would be a hit or a miss for those characters or the franchise fans.
The hate for this show is so unjust. Just based on the animation alone it was one of the best anime of the season. I know most of the people on here hate western animation but this show has nothing to do with that.
I honestly don't get how this show has such a low score. It's just pure, dumb and honestly very fun ride. I'm surprised how mixing 2 clichés I'm mostly bored with (current DC and isekai) turned in something very slightly unique.
a pretty decent series, not to bad. I don't mind some more so here is to season 2 if it happens. I really loved how the joker and harley were in this. They were really great, especially harley, she was totally made for anime no doubt about it. It was interesting to see how clayface was in this too, he is one of my fav batman villians so it was something to see him be brought as a kind of a anime pretty boy type of character lol but i thought he was great in it and very funny he was as well with making movie references and what not. I didn't really like the animation on when he transformed to clay tho, it didn't look to great and there was some scenes where the animation isn't to perfect but it's alright you know. It was great to see king shark again too and see him go toe to toe with killer croc :O nicee, katana was pretty cute in this and badass as always. I had like those anime transformations that each character had too, freaking great. I would say they sure did deliver in making an anime of this and bringing this series into the anime world. They did really good if you ask me. If they do season 2 i hope we can see some more characters like maybe weasel!
i actuality liked it, i went in blind not knowing anything about minor dc chars and pretended they were all originals. if only people enjoyed it this way too
sure the finale was a bit rough, and dont know why they held off on upgrading em with magic til the end. wonder if itll be better if they took a konosuba approach and gave em magic bit by bit wouldve made it more fun
