| Sigh, another one of those characters who is greedy and uses science/experiments for their own deeds. It's a seasonal finale but not that much different from some of the others really. Maybe the stakes were higher but is still featured the same battle elements. Rud of course had to lead the party. Very rushed episode too yikes. |

| The Labyrinth Guardian Greed, and Rud and gang will not back down from a fight as fearsome as this. Even with his unlimited potential, he still has more under the hood: a mad scientist who's obsessed with homunculi. But even if the secret's out, there's no mistaking that the Guardian is a big threat, and even by appearance alone as a vampire of sorts, it's nothing compared to now Rud has faced both Marius and Amon before. The thing is, the real Greed is not the inferior homunculus apparition, but someone who requires a strategy to take down. To force Rud to use his shield and skills to the limit, he's soon drained of his mana, and the others don't favour in comparison to his tank abilities. The evolution to a mana-inducing frenzy to overcome his menial being, Rud did defeat Greed for a moment, and after Nin's awakening, was able to supress his mana and use his shield skills to the absolute limit to defeat Greed, thus conquering and destroying the labyrinth. Great work to Rud. This is more than just a generic fantasy show...it's boring as heck. |

| It's time to defeat Greed once and for all. Led into what seemed like the lowest level of space, Rud and the others are confronted by Greed. Angered by Greed's actions of creating and exploiting illegal homunculi for his research, the group couldn't contain their fury. As time passes, Greed's appearance undergoes a rapid transformation, unleashing immense magical power upon Rud and the others. Despite being stripped down to their core, Rud and his companions fight with all their might... Yep, it's the classic "why didn't you tell us sooner" line. This anime has every cliché. We did get to see Marius fight one last time, though it didn't last. The big bad Greed came back after dying once, with the old "that wasn't me" trick. Then there's the usual "everything's dire" moment, but surprise, the MC gets a random power-up turning into Superman. The fight was boring. This show's just boring in general. Same old story: another season, another boring fantasy anime. This one's a total dud. Don't bother with it. |

| That was an interesting final battle between Rud’s party and Greed, it’s just unfortunate that Greed ended up being kinda generic after the buildup he had and how he has a cool design, I was hoping he would be the best part of this show but it didn’t happen. He was at least the strongest guy the party has faced so far, with even Lilialy not being enough and Rud losing his absorb shield. We also saw Rud almost lose control and he went a bit wild for a bit there after he was down for the count, that was a cool scene but all it took was a magical slap from Nin to bring him back, and then Rud used the absorb shields of everyone in Avancia to dish out a final life conversion attack to defeat Greed, it was a satisfying final bow imo. And then it was time to come home, and along with the celebration we got a little slide show which I don’t think was really necessary but we have it anyway. I enjoyed this, it wasn’t anything crazy or groundbreaking but I found myself having a good time over the course of Rud regaining party members and conquering labyrinths, and even making some new friends with the bosses. It definitely could have had better art and animation, as well as better pacing in some places but once again I did like what we got, I think it was good for Studio Polon’s first show, hopefully we can look forward to more shows by them in the future. And giving the amount of waifus in this show I gotta pick a best girl, and in the end I think it’s between Nin and Lilia, I’d say Nin is the better match for Rud of course but I like her and Lilia a lot myself. And lastly I did really like the OP and ED both by the same group, the ED I was especially a fan of, really loved the piano intro. I wouldn’t mind getting another season of this, maybe we could see Manicia get fully cured, but I kinda doubt it would happen, for now I’m just looking forward to see what Studio Polon makes next. |
Even at the end, the animation is still gaudy and average, quite disappointing, really, but since I am quite fond of the manga and liked the story, it was still a worthwhile experience to see the best waifu for this series adapted... her name is Nin... 😳 but more than that, the effort they put into this adaptation are definitely appreciated, even if the feelings portrayed for each character seems too unnatural and lacking some kind of... P.S. Don't blame the story, blame how they adapted it... 😖😖😖 I'm offended to see one of the best girls for this series having this kind of treatment, it's really weird to see her eyebrows turned into > <. That's creepy and weird.  |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| another anime comes to an end Rud managed to beat the guy even tho it looked really bad for a second everyone got hit hard, not even the twins fusion could hold their own agains't this opponent Rud turned crazy when his mana almost turned him into a monster but Nin stopped him in time lol i kinda wanted to see him go harder for a bit longer tho thanks to the enemy letting him see the rest of the people, he managed to shield them (wtf lol) and turn his 1 million shield into a ONE MILLION PERCENT SMAAAAAAAAAASH, that no life form could resist LOL i'm sure that Luna would have siad it sooner or later (i wonder why it took her so long) but thanks to this enemy, she managed to let everyone know that she is also an homunculus, and ofc, everyone accepted her and she can now take baths with them, happy ending :D anyway, was another fun anime witha couple cool guys and tons of cute girls (my favorite was probably Amon tbh), pretty easy to watch for me 7/10, i'll most likely watch another season if they decide to do it |

| Not a memorable anime, the classic mid fantasy series, probably my last favourite anime this season (apart for King Ring that was shit), the most realistic vote should be 6 at best but I liked Rud as MC and girls were cute. |

| poor man's shield hero is finally over.... lol i just wanted to say that before i go.... HOWEVER the thing i WILL give this show, is that hes NOT OP/broken and neither is his pseudo harem, so that alone is refreshing |

| The fight animation was disappointingly weak. Also, it didn't make sense how Rud got his shield boosted to 1 million. The dude's shield cap is at 9999, just because he was tanking for more people doesn't make a stronger shield. Nin should have waited to snap Rud out of his rage shield until after he beat Greed. At least that way there would be just one ass pull to get over instead of two. To be honest the writing was not good throughout the whole series. Too many things didn't make sense or were not consistent. Even going back to that miracle treasure that supposedly grants any wish. When he actually got his hands on one it didn't fully cure his sister and everyone just accepted that as a normal. About the only good thing was the cute character designs for the main girls. |

| I mean, the cheesy show had a cheesy ending. The characters were cute (except rud of course, he was just unbearable) but the sound and "animation" were just rock bottom. The story(?) was so bare bones and mild it could have been a childrens book. I get there was good intent and everyone probably worked hard on this product but you gotta step it up dude, this was...not good at all. |

| Fights were rarely good because of the slide animation and characters, while not bad per se, lacked depth. Someone like Luna barely got any development after the first 2 episodes, Nin is still the same as ever and that final boss was so...bland and boring. |
| I gave this an extra point just for Lily and Lilia's incestuous kiss used to fuse. Just saying. Otherwise just a plain echii anime. |
| well i want to clown on it but its me who spend five hours watching this shit so am the real clown here anyway its so generic its depressing its just mashed shield hero and banished from the heros party and made it a fantasy would have liked it more if it was an isekai because i am a proud isekai trash man also the previous episode was okay but this was so rush and clique this one episode ruined everything |

| they could've split this episode into 2 just to flush out the fight more and give greed more lines. it really does feel rushed. maybe i'll pick up reading the source material someday. not gonna hold my breath for another season of this series. |

| I hated this anime, but above everything i hated how I came to watch the Tank and ended up watching the main attacker. It's like that Dio meme. "You thought I was tank? but I was the main attacker all along" |

| Decent fun and chill anime to watch just to kill time. I like this cuz its a nice change of pace from all those fx filled anime. That being said, the ending is a little lackluster, it doesn't have that oomph like that time when they're fighting Amon. |

| so even after winning, they didn't tell us what happened to greed? did he get killed? or captured? what will Rud do with Greed's dungeon unlimited point? I feels like, with owning 3 labyrinth, he could manipulate the economy around there into his own profit. |

| I've been on a binge of a lot of these mediocre silly name generic fantasy anime and I'm ngl, for being one of the lowest scored on MAL from the bunch I watched, it was probably one of the more enjoyable ones so far. This show just rode a single wave from beginning to end. Some of the other shows had highs and lows (more lows) but this was consistently mediocre all the way through. The weakest part about the show was the action, but I enjoyed the characters and their interactions. The final fight scene with Greed felt incredibly weak. I think I enjoyed the portions with them outside of the Labyrinths instead of in lol Overall, just kind of a filler show if you want something to watch that you can turn your brain off for. I'd watch a season 2 if they ever did it. |

| Animation here is average. I want to say that "Bookworm" at least made with love, care and attention to detail. But the low animation budget took its toll. That's the problem with a low budget. The quality of the animation was compensated by a good story. That's what makes it look better. But it's almost the same. Worm's writers were also aware of their limitations. There are a lot of static shots, or shots where only one object is moving. There are a lot of places where the characters move one after the other. There are also a lot of close-ups of the character, or angles where part of the frame is overlaid by a simple texture. The person who did the animation just knew what he could do and squeezed the maximum out of it. Better one nice shot than 100 ugly ones. An order of magnitude is 10 times. Animation quality is 10 times better - examples are "The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash" or "The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic". Slightly better in animation quality, for example, anime about S rank daughter. The backgrounds are amazing. "Violet Evergarden", "Sousou no Frieren", "Chainsaw Man", "Made in the Abyss"... Everything stands out, here it's just not it. |

| Good combination of a just a tad bit of slow life with a lot of actual rpg adventure! I liked it and it still has potential! Had a decent and proper shield tank mc, and the premise wasnt overly complicated, the world was just fleshed out enoguh without having to wonder whats further out there, and it had enough humor and decent action that I want a 2nd SEASON! Weird choices of clothes for some, and odd slightly lezzy twin sister fusion...lol ffs. The manga is at chapter 54 and seems ot keep going into the demon realm, and S rank is gonna become a thing in the guilds. HOPE FOR ANOTHER SEASON? WHY NOT? lol Solid 7/10 for me ^~^. |
