Well, Nin let he words known this episode. She's shown more personality than the previous episodes.

Idk, this pacing felt awkward and the shift of personalities definitely felt off at times. At least she's getting along with everyone now. Rud's kind of the heart of the group holding everyone together too. Story doesn't impress me much still. They need to step it up in improving the plot imo.

What a surprise. Without Rude, the heroes' party ain't shit.

"Is my very existence closing off my brother's future?" Unable to shake off the anxiety, Manicia struggles to interact with Rude. However, encouraged by Luna, she finally decides to confront her brother. Soon after, Nin, a member of the hero party and the saintess, knocks on Rude's door. Nin then explains that since Rude left, the heroes' party has disbanded, and Nin will temporarily live with Rude and co.

Manicia is truly the best girl. I get where she's coming from, even though it's really sad. It's tough to think that the person you love might be better off without you, even if deep down you know it's not true. Without her, his life would be filled with sadness. The hero's tears bring me joy, and it's about time he learns to treat others better instead of like garbage. It's kind of fascinating that the hero realized he was unknowingly using the tank's defense for a power boost. Why put the blame on Rude for leaving? The whole party wanted him gone. We're still in the dark about the general monster's HP, so it's unclear if it's overpowered.

But if it can accumulate damage over many days and unleash it all at once, it could be a one-shot kill until the endgame.

Extremely satisfying episode wow. Not only did we see Rud and his sister get closer and finally express how they feel, but the hero got his payback! Only 3 episodes in too, I like it.

Last week after the whole Runa and Rud bonding stuff, we found out Manicia has a lot of insecurities and blames herself for her brother’s career choice. Obviously that’s not the case, but after overhearing people saying that and gradually growing apart from Rud it’s understandable she’d feel bad.

Kind of impressive that they worked through that whole mini arc in like 8 minutes lol. Other anime would’ve dragged it out half a season. For a homunculus, Runa is surprisingly adept at dealing with situations like this. Instead of playing dumb she just straight up tells Manicia to talk to her brother. Which to her credit she did right away.

Really cute moment between the siblings. As the baby of the family, I can definitely relate to not being that close to your older siblings and not knowing how to express yourself to them, so that’s definitely a valid situation.

And to make the episode better, the hero’s party falls apart. “You’re scrawny and unhealthy from drinking all day” lmaoo cook him, Nin! Stand up for Rud and let the hero know what he’s been missing. Still think she should’ve just left the party when Rud got kicked out, but this works too. “But that’s her job!” There’s other adventuring jobs out there, and she quit anyway a few weeks later lol.

Can’t wait to see more of their living arrangement play out now that Nin, Runa and Manicia are living under one roof. Nin already making her moves on Rud lol

Finally some action! Total contrast to the failure that the hero’s party was. Runa, Nin and Rud take down the Wolf monster in style. Rud’s new ability is really cool!

Best episode so far. I wonder how they’ll keep things interesting now

It kinda felt random to start the episode with Manicia being insecure when the previous episode I didn't see her down like that. Whatever it got solved quickly.

Luna sure adapts fast, first she's already good at cooking already just after being their shortly and she gives Manicia already advice.

Best girl Nin is back already and man she was cute when saying she didn't mind sharing a room with Rud. Also good of her telling that hero off (but why didnt she leave that dickhead earlier?), his party already got disbanded so quickly is a good thing so we don't have to see that drag out. Now hopefully leave him out of the anime so that story is done.

it's fine i guess, cute characters but it just feels a bit early to be pulling the heartstrings stuff and laying it on hard. you have to get attached to characters to feel the tragedy, not the other way around, especially not to just bump back like nothing happened 4 seconds later.

also is it just me or has MAL been a NIGHTMARE to post on today?

Rud, Nin and Luna make for one good team. And the former hero's party really ain't all that without Rud! lol Kyglas was just too proud and lazy to do any work, and his pride won't let him accept that he was the weakest one lol

Really loved the first stretch of the episode where Luna helped Manicia tell Rud how she was feeling about the fact he’s working so hard to help her, it was clear that Rud was happy to be doing it but of course Manicia needed some extra help to see that due to her position and what she heard being said from classmates in the past. I was afraid Manicia might do something rash due to these feelings but I’m glad it was resolved quickly, now to hope Rud can actually save her lol.

And I was surprised to see Nin coming to Rud so soon, turns out the hero’s party already fell flat on its face and Kyglas got cooked not just by the monster but his own party members lol, it’s too bad he’s in denial right now but perhaps he’ll come around, I kinda doubt it tho. But this means Nin is here to stay, and I’m already enjoying her moments with Rud, that bed scene got the ship sailing immediately lol. The fun was short lived unfortunately when a giant wolf monster appeared, but this meant we could see Rud put his skills to a true test and he did exactly that and then some with he overkilled the wolf lol. And after the ED we got more insight on why the monster attacked, and it looks like there’s mischief afoot regarding magic stones, I look forward to seeing how this plot develops. Definitely a banger episode, glad to see this show is doing things right so far!

So I am kinda confused: is Manicia and Rud really blood-related or are they just self-proclaimed siblings? (grew-up in the same orphanage/slums?)

Anyway, so we finally are introduced to the main conspiracy the MC is going to be involved in - especially since Luna is most likely part of that

EP 3

Wait thats the whole ep. that was strange. though there is a post ed scene
So yeah there's some kind of weird plot. im assuming next ep they'll actually start going out to see.
I mean luna did mention that her backstory probably has some secrets too, soo wouldnt be surprised if there's a conspiracy or two out there somewhere
Nin doesnt know that luna is a homunculus. yet.
It's taken awhile but the plot is sloowly but surely moving now. I think? Next week I guess.

As a reminder, well I'm pretty sure I checked in ep 1 that nin is voiced by hondo kaede. The other girls I dunno, we'll see if they show up next ep.
(Would be kinda weird if I got it wrong but I think its correct)

Its been 3 eps but hopefully the story starts to gather pace from now, still plenty to go

Apparently both the OP and ED is done by the same person/group, no idea though

Tbh, this animation is F tier ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€ and 2 of the main points of the plot were casually solved in the fking 3rd episode๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… lmao.

It's totally a shit anime. But, god damn, I liked it. Nin carred this episode, she's fking CUTE bro, and the fights are actually cool, besides the HORRIBLE animation.

This garbage ain't worth watching if you don't like slice of life stuff. I do, so i'ma continue tho๐Ÿซก

I'm kind of bumed that the story and everything around it is so bland, since Rud the MC is actually kind of competent and ok person. While the siscon thing is a bit "japanized" and not-cool, that's the extend of the japanizing beam effect on him. He's making me roll my eyes way less than your average protagonist.

But yeah, there are frames in this show where the bodies are so disproportionate you'd think interns could do a better job. Which sucks since character design is quite nice.

No one appreciates their tank until their gone, so true. The dps and heals get all the glory! Anyway, this anime is way too predictable and the tank starts off overpowered, not very exciting. I was hoping for just a romance with Luna but he has every girl all over him even his sister. Zzz...

Luna bedhair much fluffy.
Manicia self worth issue & their backstory made sense. glad Luna & Rud help resolve it the wholesome way. Feels genre turning into shoujo rather than adventure & that's fine.
Absorb shield interesting mechanics to shield from pain. oof hero's broken bones. Blue twins got quite agile melee, saved that scumbag, and teleportation.
Nin & Rud scene lol they cute.
limited budget but nice combo fight. homunculus wolf new mystery.

This failed the 3 episode test for me (and I'm usually more generous).

Ep 1 - Not a huge episode, but gave some basic setup, gave a little bit of an interesting idea with the homunculi, and I though tin-universe ahoge was fun.
Ep 2 - Basically nothing happened to the point where I am failing to remember more than the duel.
Ep 3 - Forced character development with no impact since it's happened so early on with barely any setup. Just suddenly "thanks girl I've known for 2 days, you've completely resolved some deep seated issues that I've had for a long time that somehow my brother hasn't noticed even with a supposedly in-universe bit of hair that shows my emotions"

I'm willing to give even pretty plain shows a watch because they can be fun to chill with but I feel like this one is basically throwing eggs, flour and sugar in a pile and eating it calling it cake.

On Rud's point after failing to be an adventurer, Manicia definitely feels more insecure than the last, which Luna felt her worries. Being overly reliant on Rud bears no forewill to Manicia, but the stress on her is becoming too much of a burden, and as scared as she is telling the truth about her sickness, he's much happier of this life with Luna, and that his happiness spreads to Manicia, which is a good thing.

However, Nin having quit the Hero's Party being disbanded after losing Rud and failing to clear dungeons, Kyglas still thinks that he's in the right, only to be met by more spawned high-level monsters and losing his sanity over the new tank recruits as well. That, with no choice, everyone follows suit to leave the party, and Nin only recognizing how much Rud's tank skills pushed them far, it's all in the past, no more glooming over it. Even she still wants to have the hots for Rud, which is...quite the awkwardness. But a lycan monster invading the orchards, only Rud can tank everyone's defense while everyone goes for the attack. Rud trying out his Life Conversion, and while that is quite the OP power to defeat the C-rank black wolf that's just as powerful as an A-rank one, it having 2 magic stones, means that someone is creating homunculi.

For bad or for worse, this is only the beginning of the end.

It's cool to see an anime showing what the life of a tank is like, RPGs make me so happy when I play tank, you can see the initiatives he takes, but that skill op, it's not worth it, I want it too

Lol. Stupid hero was lazy , prideful, and arrogant. Never realized it was because of Rud is what made the party stronger until when he was gone. Glad everyone quits and not stupid enough to
stay with him. Rud is proven to be an OP tank just like the show's title says. lol

Nice to see Manicia's insecurities quickly resolved thanks to Luna. This made the siblings closer than before. Well of course Rul loves and cares for his sister. Its his happiness and the only family that he has. Besides being a siscon.

Also nice to see Rin again. She's cute, just like Manicia and Lona. Lmao. Rud's moments got interrupted twice. One was between him and Manicia and the other one with him and Nin. I'm surprised that she's a noble and a saint. She kinda never look like one.

Seems like someone is experimenting with monsters. Its a nice battle as we can see all of them are participating in the battle. Luna and Nin make a good support team.

This show's not that bad. Just not the best out there, but this show still got me interested (well, because of the cute waifus).

Rud deals 20K damage that he stacked against the wolf and destroyed the forest. I wonder if he can stack damage purposefully from his own party members and attack monsters with that life convert skill.
