| anohana's main theme and tenshi song from k-on. the latter isn't really a sad song but once you know the context behind it it gets you emotional. it's been more than 3 years since i watched anohana and more than a year since i watched k-on but i'm still unable to listen to these songs without getting the feels. 10/10 songs. |

| in terms of how it sounds? probably VOH from made in abyss, there is just so much agony in that track, it reaches deep into my soul and stabs my god damn heart. but "come sweet death" from end of evangelion is also fucking depressing but for completely different reasons. lets just say....
