Ouch, I guess even in this show, accidents can occasionally happen and it sucks.

That bike scene had more emotional content than I had expected. Also got some cool space fishing moments. I honestly think they made this show's space fishing a lot more of a dangerous activity than it looks.

Hell, characters even has potential to lose their lives if something wrong happens. A pretty tense episode imo.

So the mystery behind Maiko's brother is solved tho now it seems like Maiko blames Maki who didn't even know what her father did.
I hope Maiko realises that it isn't Maki's fault but this will probably put some strain on them.

Maiko's characterization episode comes through, and it comes rough and unnerving.

The secret that is (until now) unknown along from her all the while, the cat is finally out of the bag...with grave consequences.

To see such people lose their lives over something that is easy on the eye but complex and strenuous is no joke.

That wasn't bad. Atleast there is a direction in this episode that seems a tad interesting regarding Maiko and her brother.

I always hate the "Blame the child for the parents wrong" Trope. it make no sense to blame some one who wasn't involved for crime they had no idea about.

So many Internal conflicts!
So this time Maiko got mad and putting blame to Makiko because her father is the one who put her brother to who knows if he's dead or still alive...
4/5.

There never was a major accident in space fishing eh? They're hiding something...It may have been Maiko's fault that Ruby was injured, but Maiko has a right to know what happened to her brother.

Hahaha! Haru standing in front of the rocket with her arms crossed is a badass moment right there!

Wow, the government is twisted...

Alright, I liked the drama in this episode...except the end. I do hope that in the next episode, Maiko understands that she should be mad at Maki's father, not Maki herself. I know that the revelation was in the heat of the moment, but if Maiko puts the blame on Makiko, then the drama is going to hurt this anime a lot. Let's hope that it doesn't go that route.

Holy shit! really liked this episode.
Guess they're going to tell her her brother still might be alive so I don't think there will be much drama with her blaming Maki the next episode.

Well then. Even if Maki herself is innocent, she's still gonna feel at fault.

Emotional episode particularly for Maiko, I guess she has the most crucial step in finding her brother. But I don't believe that step should be blaming Makiko for her father's sins, I guess I could call it desperation fused with anger and despair. I hope they'll sort it out in the next.

This was dramatic and yet uncovering episode,

Why the men in this anime are damn imbeciles and arrogant.
Thanks to Makiko's father, Maiko gets angry with her, which I find unreasonable. Kagitani and Kazamatsuri are also guilty, the damned ones knew what happened to Maiko's brother and also hide the truth, because they are cowards and feel ashamed of what happened.
The train scene is a classic and it never fails to be moving, the surprise for me was that Namino was joining Haru and Makiko.
I'm glad to see that Ruby is healthy and the news from Misapyon gives some hope about the situation of Maiko's brother, but the bomb was already launched and Maiko unleashes her anger on Makiko.

Surprised at the reveals, so that's how Kagitani got the scar. Also that scumbag in the government should be fed to the Wolf Fish.

Maiko should not blame Maki, she did not know anything that her dad has done at that time.

Looking forward to next week.

Wow, and I thought only Namino can be a bitch all the time but looks like Maiko is being one this time, even after her squad mates went and brought her ass back. Way to go blaming your friend when her father was the actual dick, lol.

The absurdity of this show got turned up to 11 now. A "major accident" I guess doesn't include someone's disappearance, trains in Onomichi are really slow, a "spy" is now analogous to a super duper hacker that can magically find "update logs" about who authorized the deletion of a non-existent report.

The only thing that wasn't totally ridiculous was a woman being unreasonably angry and demanding to someone completely uninvolved and unable to do anything about the actual event that took place. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm going to be contrarian here and say the show is really shoehorning the bureaucrat as the bad guy here when the actual team involved decided collectively after finding out how dangerous it was, that they would continue the operation. There was obviously life-threatening risk involved and everyone who signed the dotted line knew that. Both sides made grievous errors in judgement, the existence of these "deities" is being kept secret, so the actions taken are completely logical in this case since public opinion about such an accident would sour the entire project possibly permanently.

Not that I'm excusing the government's actions in any way, but to blame "the dirty suit" entirely is pretty childish.

I liked this show better when it was just stupid and cute, hopefully this side plot is resolved by the end of the next episode.

I think my only problem with Maiko causing a problem because she wanted to check out the wreckage is that there is no way one of the first space expeditions was in a Tank number that high. I know that she's desperate and wants answers, and if they were in Tank 1 I wouldn't have a problem, but there is no way they had that many operational tanks ready to be fished in on at the time of her brothers disappearance.

Also they never mentioned what the problem with Tank 0 was or if it even has anything to do with the way her brother went missing.

Damn. That look at Maiko's eyes. Its pointing daggers at Makiko. But she's not to blame but her father.

The old man was supposed to stop the mission, but men in suit insisted to continue. Thus the accident. I bet the trio didn't know how much danger
they were in until the operation started and caused Maiko's bro's disappearance.

It's gonna be drama for the next episode. I don't like it, but I need to push through anyway.

Things are getting serious. Finally there's a plot in this show.

Well, Maki is not to blame. It wasn't her fault.

something about those last few minutes really kinda pissed me off. who is glasses to put all that shit on someone who has been nothing but a friend. I'd have the urge to slap the glasses off her face truthly. I feel bad for her and all but makimaki is by far the best person amongst them.
