Holy fuck, that's some real shit right there by Daisuke Jigen this episode.

I loved seeing him fight with his arsenal of weapons and bringing out his best. The music went perfectly too with his style. So glad he got another chance to show off his skills in this episode. Daisuke is just on another level of badass this week.

They have a small army with tanks and helicopters, Lupin has a Jigen, who will win.....Jigen of course lol. Love it.
Lupin airing the dirty laundry of countries to turn them against people log, brilliant.
Ami's old man is a massive bell-end, asking her for bullet points, what a twat.
That ending, I wonder if it means Rebecca will have a cameo in the finale, would be fun and a nice connect to part IV.
“I just spent the last two years thinking that you guys knew more than me about life and I just found out that you guys are just as dumb as me.” “Duh-doy.” “Yeah, duh-doy.”

wow! so much nostalgia all over on this episode, that Castle of Cagliostro at the end was sooo amazing! instantly makes me remembers those beautiful scenario of the movie and all their old classic adventures.. (hoped to see how Clarisse grown all this time..) and also they referenced about Rebecca (from PartIV).

Jigen handling all the cops alone was really epic! Also really loved how they handled the Jigen and Lupin interaction almost had me tears :,( and Lupin's reasoning was really brilliant and somehow ressemble the origin of how Lupin show itself comes and will end.. also relationship between Enzo and Amy was really something than I initially thought. Kind of feel bad for how Amy had being alone all the time..

Damn, only one episode left and I am really not ready to see how this show ends..

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who instantly recognized the ending's location, you have no idea how far down my jaw dropped the moment I saw the clock.

Sadly I haven't seen PartIV since I only started watching the Lupin series this year (although I done tons of research on the series...) Guess I got another anime to watch for before next episode.~

Anyone notice how Fujiko was out o her cage but then back in it wtf!! lol Lupin hiding out on his loot at fam loot @ Cagliostro... Surprised his "relationship" with Rebecca is still there. This feels like this is the final end of Lupin series(expecting it to be full Fujiko reunion) unless they have more crossovers for mystery shows like conan & Kindaichi

Another great episode
So many enemies of Lupin rejoicing because of the current temporary defeat against PeopleLog...but damn! the Father of Ami really doesn't care for his daughter! Such scum! Ami would be better of the newest Loyal member of Lupin's force since this is the modern age, Ami would be an indispensable part of the team!
Jigen also is on the run and Albert for sure is involved on his escape!
Jigen badass slaughtering the whole security escort was such a satisfying scene!
Lupin is now getting back at PeopleLog by using the dirty information of other countries to direct the blame on PeopleLog! Awesome move!
Next last episode would be the CLIMAX!
5/5.

Now this arc picks up.

LOL at the fourth-wall break from Lupin. He knows he's a star and that he can make anyone dance to his tune, and honestly I'm enjoying the dance he's started with Enzo. Everyone is waiting to see what happens.

Jigen got a really cool and fun sequence in the shootout.

Enjoyed the Cagliostro cameo at the end. I hope to see Rebecca and Lady Clarisse next time.

This was so good, it moved me to tears!

To think that Albert would help Jigen; his stand on that road was so cool too! When Goemon is close, it's a bit easy to forget just how awesome Jigen is, with just a few weapons, and his godlike marksmanship, he was able to bring down all of those soldiers/policemen, he is the man.

His talk with Lupin about retiring was so poignant too, I loved what Lupin said, like the bit: "until the day the story finally ends, I wanna keep being Lupin III". I was so glad to see him laughing with Goemon before they were rescued too, it was really nice after what happened, and I also liked how Fujiko ran towards them to make sure that Goemon would be able to grasp the answer he was looking for, or how she decided to trust, and wait for Lupin there. Gosh, even Rebecca may make an appearance for the final showdown. And Lupin is hiding at Cagliostro, right? That's also so cool!

Also his comeback against the PeopleLog was great! He made every single country he could its enemy, and now he's coming for Enzo, the thieves aren't outdated at all! I hated how cold Enzo was towards Ami though, even if he has a "reason" for being like this, I don't think it will cut it for me, so if he's truly coming down, he will get no sympathy from me. I'm still excited with the episode, and I can't wait for the next one: "Lupin III is Forever".

The way they're setting up this season finale really feels like they're setting up the finale for the Lupin III franchise as a whole. We've been given a lot of callbacks to previous Lupin stories (Lupin hiding out in the catacombs of Cagliostro, Lupin's Mercedes SSK getting trashed, cameos from previous villains, references to Rebecca) all the while the characters muse what their place is in this modern world (Zenigata musing over getting a drink with a rehabilitated Lupin was my favourite). This season of Lupin has given us so much to love, it's a heart breaking prospect to think that we only have one episode left.

I'm looking forward to the explosive climax to Part V's run!

He hid under Castle Cagliostro... 10/10

@WandererRedux @Fayrin This feels like it is the amalgamation of every single Lupin entry so far and I am amazed by how well it turned out and how modern, yet timeless it is.

Agreed; while I don't think the show managed to blend the styles/tones of the previous Parts perfectly, and think there were a few dropped balls in terms of writing/plot structure, I adored the Parisian film inspired feel that this Part oozed. The staff did a fantastic job at making Part V feel not only like a loving tribute to the entire franchise, but as a good starting point for anyone interested in seeking out the rest of what Lupin III has to offer.

Just as an aside: I personally would have loved an extra Green Jacket episode (even if we had to trade it for one of the Red Jacket episodes), but was happy with the one that we did get.

Nice to see Rebecca make an appearance. Sad to see the show end. I'd probably check out the other parts after I finished the movie origin stories

Oh hey Detective Melon!
Seeing all these people from part 1-3
Aww welcome to the new world
Shame they're all just fanservice

They made Jigen way too badass
One battalion of cops destroyed by himself

Haha I wish that could happen in real life
Expose all those dirty governments, which is true for all countries :P
All governments in the world are consisted of dirty secrets and they're hiding it all

Oh hey Castle Of Cagliostro, we met again

Gonna be interesting how this ends!

Lupin got em. When it comes to the dirty laundry of the government then it's of course a problem. Hilariously true.

Now that was one of the greatest episodes of the franchise, from Jigen single-handedly taking out the convoy to Lupin attacking the surveillance company by making governments see it as a threat to their rule. It's a clever trick that was both moving and funny.

Also, the metafictive discussion about whether to retire or continue as if they're stars in some tv show, and talking about how one could hear "an achingly cool number that plays when the hero is about to turn the tables". It was a great decision that when they discussed the fictive aspects, there was no background music. For some reason I thought of the superhero song then, but I never would have described it as an achingly cool number :D

We see Cagliostro again, what a joyous day! Part V has made the whole franchise feel interconnected in a way that I don't think has been done in previous installments.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
