| I didn’t like the idea of going gearless at first, but this sets up a huge contrast between him and Yuri, who represents everything Megalo is with his high tech gear. Just how much of a disadvantage is this though, and he has to beat Yuri without gear? This is gonna be tough to say the least 😵 |
| you know, usually i hate those stereotypical kid sidekicks in shounen but i honestly don't mind this little kid. he's actually useful and his personality isn't too bad however, i still don't really understand the point of the "gear" in boxing. just to make your punches stronger? seems kinda unnecessary |

| His first fight was already pretty epic and then they threw in a couple more rounds he actually won so that was quite lovely actually! His progression is steady for someone without any gear! Looking forwards to see what happens next! |

| Gearless Joe was really gearless! LOL He broke it in the last episode but I'm sure he'll get a new gear suit soon. Someone will sponsor him or they'll build one from scraps or something. Everyone on Joe's team was nervous and bugging out but they recovered eventually. All that cockiness but he almost lost because he was overwhelmed. Who would've thought that cute little Sachio would be the one to get the team together and start focusing again? He's adorable even though he's kind of ugly. At least, Joe won his first match and gained respect from the crowd. He went from 256 (?) all the way to 100-something in a short period of time. He must have a lot of fans by now. Team Nowhere has a nice ring to it. I love their cute three-man team. |

| Joe actually fights a lot better without wearing gears as seen by his spar at the Fence so being too broke to afford anything turned out to be a blessing in disguise. If he had gears at the match, there's no way that he could've kept that stamina as long as he did without them. It was awesome to see the crowd jeer at him for being scared of losing with the additional insult being his entourages being laughingstocks only for them to be proven wrong at Round 3 once he got his act together by reminding him that he;s not alone. He's a true underdog and he had risen by a full hundred ranks with something that's considered as a major handicap. |

| This show fucking blows. The story is garbage, the characters couldn't be any less interesting. Everything is so boring and slow and it feels pointless. I can't even bring myself to finish it. Dropped 2/10 |

| Joe struggled at first. But, then he got back with a bang. Great montage. So far, Joe has won three of the five matches. Great going, Joe. |

| The fight between Joe and Shark was awesome. The montage was great as well, although I was hoping to see more of the fights. The guy showing up at the end really has me interested as well, hopefully we'll get to see another awesome fight as well as more of Nanbu's backstory. |
| Great episode once again! Madlads actually fought gearless, damn that's badass. I felt Joe's anxiety though, they did such a good job showing Joe's fear. I wonder if Joe's going to fight gearless all the way. That dude at rank 17 is probably a former student of Nanbu, are we going to get a Nanbu backstory? I hope so. |

| Fighting Gearless in this universe must be the equivalent of fighting someone in a different weight class in actual boxing, which is why its surprising Joe won at all, instead of losing, or even worse, dying. Also, other than it being cool, there's really no point to Gears are there ? I mean, yeah, more offensive power but it didn't do anything for added defense to your body, which means each hit from someone wearing a Gear should be enough to kill someone in a single blow. If Gears aren't that powerful then why even bother with them ? Regular boxing and Megalo Box are basically the same at this point in the show, which makes me wonder if there's any deeper reason for it other than it looking cool. |
This show is awesomely progressing the story. Way to go Joe! The next match looks challenging! |

| The way they portrayed fear/concussion was amazing. Fights 2-3 were skipped so hopefully all the future ones are gonna be fleshed out, this show is great so far |

| The boxing is always great in this show. I still kinda dislike that kid though i understand why hes here and on the team i just dont know what to feel about him. Im sure he will grow on me. |

| I LOVE this show so far. It's like 12:30 in the morning, and I really want to keep going, but I'm gonna wait until morning to make sure I'm fully awake to really enjoy this awesome show. It's not often a show makes me consider staying up really late though lol |
