| Individual personality and identity is vastly more important than how someone fits into a 'type', to me, and it weirds me out a little how the anime community has this whole 'fetishizatioion of archetypes' thing going on. I guess if I absolutely HAD to pick, I'd go with a Kuudere. Dating a hyper-stoic person presents a sort of fun challenge; what kind of outrageous thing will have I to do or say to actually get a reaction out of them? It's pretty fun, really. Plus, I'd probably do well with someone emotionally stable enough to balance out my spazziness. |

| if we're talking long-term relationships, then regardless of gender, the only type i can really see myself with is a dandere. personally, i'd have Big Issues with a hime/oujidere, yandere, tsundere, or sadodere (all for probably obvious reasons); the deredere's affection might feel kinda smothering after a point and i'd feel guilty that i couldn't respond to the same degree as them, but on the flipside, the kuudere's attitude would probably lead to misunderstandings and miscommunications - they're probably most likely the sort of s/o that you eventually just drift away from n you end up breaking up without actually saying anything. not to say that it wouldn't be the same with the dandere re: issues, but at least with them you'd have better luck sorting things out and you Know that they care about you. |

| The problem with these stereo-types is that they're way overdone in anime, taken to extremes that would be intolerable in a real life setting. Taking very mild versions, I'd probably settle for a deredere or a dandere. Maybe even a mild tsundere, if the tsun part was kept to just playful teasing (more as in a role-play thing rather than being really mean). |

Many Deres don't add other unique/interesting traits to their Characters. Why do they not add more things like PTSD, Selfishness and etc to these Characters? Danderes are the best for a long long relationship because Shy ppl tend to be Loyal towards/appreciative off their friends and Lover. They do not Betray the Trust. |

| I would date any female Kuudere or deredere all fucking day. I just love those type of characters so much. Yandere is basically the same as saying your life is on the edge so no. Tsundere..ain't that big of a fan tbh. Himedere ain't my thingy since i kinda hate the 'iam from a royal family so yall better respect me' attitude. Dandere...Honestly these are the best ones to date. But i have seen enough hentai about them so my point of view about them is kinda messed up. Sadodere would just piss me off. |

That's something I tend to appreciate across the board, not just with females, and himedere are infinitely more likely to have that than dandere. Why the fuck did I strike through the whole post? Also, Deredere is the answer I'd go with today. |
