| Great episode. Big Mom showed no mercy when killing her son, Damn. :( Thank goodness our man Jinbe showed up to effuse the situation. Just like Luffy, Jinbe knows how to make entrances. XD Serious business about to go down between Jimbe and Big Mom. I thought the whole fruit fish capturing was kinda amusing. That Marineford flashback made me tear up. :(( I'm really glad Jinbe has finally decided to join the StrawHats, can't wait for that. |

| Holy sh*t Big Mom killed her own son!! she really is messed up, way beyond any of the other OP villains so far! I am so happy Jimbei is back hopefully he will finally join the Straw Hats, and hopefully he doesn't get killed by Big Mom because that's something I have been worried about. |
| Lol, I love how insanely grotesque Big Mom is. She ate a bunch of her own citizens and an entire group of tourists and everyone else is just happy they get to live. I wish someone more interesting than Jinbei would join the group though. I guess I'll have to give it more time. I didn't like Brook or Franky at first either, but they really grew on me. |

| The first half was annoying as hell with Big Mom screaming "Croquembouche" all the time. She ended up killing her son as well during the rampage. At least the flashbacks and the Straw Hat filler moments were enjoyable. |

| Jinbe! I love you. Time for you to join the crew. I doesn't look like big mom is gonna take it very well though. Her Devil Fruit (I think?) power is scary. She can just take your life span away? Something tied to fear. Looks like Luffy is gonna be immune though because he never fears anything lol. Unless she can somehow make him scared to lose his friends. |

| "Croukanboushuuuuu" This episode in a nutshell. -------------------- Toei is over-extending the scenes way too much. At this point the most important scene from the arc is gonna be animated in november-december. |
Big Mom destroying her own city and wants croquembouche like in the last episode. I didn't expect her to even kill her son, but that scene where she used her devil fruit I guess was creepy as hell. O.o She's absolutely crazy but now after this episode I understand why she's a yonko. She seems like an unstoppable killer machine and with such an ability to take the life of someone damn.... Good thing Jimbei rescued the situation in the last seconds otherwise Big Mom would had also destroyed her palace. I couldn't believe her reaction after she finally got the croquembouche lol. Seeing again the flashbacks from the marine ford and what happened afterwards after such a long time was so sad :( I really love the relationship between Luffy and Jimbei and I hope Jimbei will or better said "can" join the strawhats. I have a pretty bad feeling about the conversation between Big Mom and Jimbei. Her reaction was terrifying when Jimbei said that he wants to talk about something serious with her. Ulquiorra said: Mom is too cruel, and here I thought that I won't see anyone more screwed than Doflamingo. That's what I also thought :D Next episode will be interesting for sure. Hearing something about Pedros past, the proceedings between Jimbei and Big Mom and the straw hats will finally arrive at Whole Cake Island. |

| Gosh, Big Mom just kills off one of her sons and nobody seems to care about that, how cruel is that? I hate her already. However, if her devil fruits is based on fear, Luffy has a good chance of kicking her ass fast, probably won't work on him anyway lolz. |

| Despite Big Mom just killing one of her own sons she just doesnt feel like a bad person or scary, not like Doflamingo, Arlong or Crocodile for example. Maybe One Piece just kinda lost "it" for me, hoping this Arc can reignite my light for this show. Good seeing Jimbei though, I wonder if he'll actually join the crew, that'd be really interesting. - As of know if I saw him with the other 9 you wouldnt think he'd be a part ^^ |

| The episode started with a continuation of Big Mom’s rampage. It came off similar to Chopper’s monster mode before he could control it, aka like the original Goku gorilla mode. If I saw correctly, she even asked Jimbei if he destroyed the city and he told her, after personally stopping her, that he didn’t know what happened. Assuming that is all correct then we have both the memory loss and rampaging. During this she even attacked and ‘killed’ her own son. With the amount of death that has happened in post time skip, looking at Monet and Vergo, and the frequent mentioning of killing, part of me does believe it! Apparently her power is linked to fear, and if you show fear she can steal your lifespan. It’s like removing someone’s soul and taking it as your own. Scary. The thing is, assuming she will do that to a Straw Hat, I have to doubt that it’s permanent. Jimbei stopped her rampage and showed us first hand that he has been working under Mom. It seems the Sun Pirates are an arm of the Big Mom pirates. That said, I’d wager he’s been working as damage control and he suggested that this is what’s been keeping him from joining the Straw Hat crew. Once Luffy and co beat Big Mom, or at least Jimbei goes free, he can join the crew! For now however, he enters an intimidating meeting with her. It was also noted that he brought her a poneglyph which is curious. |
| While it more or less guarantees that I'll get the food I'm craving for in 30 minutes or less is rather tempting, I guess that it's not worth it to have hunger pangs that would let you indiscriminately destroy and kill anything in your way even if that thing happens to be your very own children. I suppose that Jimbei's working alongside Big Mom so he can search for the Route Poneglyph in her territory without getting him and his crew killed so he can lead Luffy to it in the future. |

| you’d think they’d have figured out a system with how long big mom has been a yonko, let alone active as a pirate however, i also now want croquembouche no wonder she has so many kids, she’s quite literally mooching off of them i’ll never get over brook’s bounty poster, the marines that designed it are obviously soul king fans FIRST SON OF THE SEA, JINBEI! i missed you, king! mama’s territory is hanging on by a thread, and that thread is jinbei. i love that flashback, jinbei was always going to be an ally and a friend to luffy if only because of his respect for ace, but that’s the moment he became a strawhat in my eyes. probably the same for luffy, it was just a matter of time and place. jinbei may be the only strawhat so far to witness luffy waver in his goal to be king of the pirates. |

| Big mom is out of control. She already annoying AF. Luffy definitely needs to take her out. So her big power is taking someone life source. Seems little similar to Moria. I guess Haki could block it. But idk how you fight that unless it’s just not getting captured. But best part was seeing Jinabe again. Feel like he has saved Luffy more times than anyone in the show. Hope after this arc he officially joins the crew in Wano. |
| So at first I thought Big Mom's power was giving life to inanimate objects considering the 'ship' and 'carpet' along with everything during her muscial number. That may still be part of it, otherwise I'd like to know where all the sentient food is coming from, but seems it's actually much more sinister. Guess we now know how she's had so many children in her life. Some twisted 'trick or treat' chant lets her take lifespan from those she casts it on if they show fear. Liklihood then is that she is much older than we think if she just took 40 years so easily. Now we know what Jimbei's responsibilities that he's been trying to get free from are. Guess that after Whitebeard's death and Big Mom taking control of Fish-Man island, Jimbei was forced into her crew as part of the deal. At least the Strawhats don't have to do much searching now as a Poniglyph has been brought to Big Mom. Whether it's one of the Road Poniglyphs though remains to be seen. |
