| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- But... random soldiers hit by explosions are always male.. o.o First time I saw a random female soldier being hit by an explosion in Gundam. It made me smile. :] That aside, Norris was pretty awesome. o.o With that also aside, this was a good episode. Almost makes me forget the (mediocre) first half of the series. |

| Norris is so boss. Even when dying, he wins. And on another note, Aina is the worst character in this show. Shiro is bad, but Aina and her idiocy surpasses him. If it wasn't her at the end piloting, but her insane brother this episode would of ended amazingly. Oh well, this episode is still best one so far. |

Not really digging the whole scientist going mad/road to hell of Ginias, but walking out of the room without looking at the explosion was pretty awesome, I admit. Fight scene was pure eye candy : watching Norris display his piloting skills was a treat. Damn that animation. |

| I guess we shall be expecting a one big battle next. The battle was honestly intense, Norris really showed what was a true victory. (That final guntank was retarded. It should have manoeuvred out of the way of that battle, isn't it pretty obvious that Norris was aiming to destroy guntanks in the first place?) Now that all the tanks are destroyed, the subsequent battle's gonna be a hard fight. One against many has never kicked ass for a normal human, and not some superman Newtype or Coordinator nonsense. |

| Good episode, but wtf with the new emotions Shiro and Aina presented. Aina became mad and furious out of nowhere just because Norris can be killed in this battle, even though he always had a chance of being killed in action. Shiro quitting the service!?! Screw fighting for your friends just fight for yourself?!?! WTF I thought the reason you fought was for your friends and not order from the top brass etc. Ginias basically killed everyone that worked with Apsalus, only for him to take it by himself. He's also looked to be drugged so yeah this guy is fucking crazy. Norris dying was kinda anti-climatic. He seemed to have the 08th MS team beat, but the moment he knew Shiro is Aina's lover, he crumbled and got easily taken out. Didn't knew he also had feelings to Aina. I do agree he's more of a father figure than a lover. Guntank!! Been awhile since i last saw it, though it's stupid the pilot didn't hid better and got killed easily at long range. Oh well we're almost at the end. Big battle is about to begin. Last 2 episodes T__T |
| The action was beautiful even when it seemed exaggerated. The last Guntank pilot was sightseeing during the duel xD . Norris being the only "ace" pilot in the show is well done, sure he's a bit simple but it allows him to shine (and offers some nice sequences). Is a blue Guff with an electrified cable standard or is it an "hommage" to Ramba Ral's mecha? Shiro's realization after his "K.O." was surprising and another turnaround for the character, I liked the fact he accepted his fear (why should only underage pilots be afraid after all?) but the conclusion kind of ruins every change of mind from before. Still a good idea to display this kind of egoistical way of going through a war with a "hero". The mad scientist / psycho commandant keeps getting "better". Seriously, it was obvious he would not be a gray character with multiple layers but Aina's brother is a really simple-minded living cliché. If he had been less important, it wouldn't be as annoying as it is (as the main opponent) Aina... Aina is... I did not understand her reaction/promise after Norris went out. Will she be the real final boss? |

| A soldier who manages to win even at the expense of his death is a true badass. At least Norris managed to have soma fun before going out like a true warrior. And offer us a real treat. In that respect, Ginias's performance was rather intriguing as well, that grenade act was quite classy... If only he weren't batshit insane. |

| @SakurasouBusters The story will be resolved in the next epuisode, actually. The final episode is more a side-story-ish epilogue. (still nice because it ties in with something mentionned in the last part of 0079. |

| Great fights, I giggled at Norris calling the Fed soldiers "flatlanders" for not taking gravity into consideration enough. Ginias is so one-dimensional though. As for Apsalus, was it the 3rd one already? |
