IMPORTANT NOTE: From this point on, we're going to exclusively use club member reviews (or reviews by people who have given us permission to use their reviews)
DISCLAIMER: These scores should not be taken seriously (yet), as we only have 4 or 5 reviews for most of the shows, so there's not much diversity so far. Perhaps when a show has 30-40 reviews, the scores will be more accurate.
The purpose of this club is to try and create a community of talented writers who would like to make an alternative scoring system compared to the one currently provided by MyAnimeList. Instead of a show being scored by a hundred thousand no-names, we would have the scores for a show coming from well-written reviews by anyone who is willing to participate. All of these reviews will be able to be accessed through our forums, so the mean score for each show will be more personal since you'll know who's contributing and who isn't.
FOR THE SAKE OF ORGANIZATION, SUBMIT ALL REVIEWS HERE FROM NOW ON
Keep in mind, this doesn't mean you have to be an incredibly critical thinker to contribute, all I ask of you is to have a coherent, grammatically correct review which is at least moderately long. I don't care if you absolutely despise the most loved anime of all time, and I don't care if you love the most hated anime of all time, as long as your review follows the criteria below, it will be accepted. Here's a list of criteria we'd like the reviews to go by:
While not required, we recommend at least 800 words per review. If you believe your review is perfect being short, and there's really nothing else you feel you can add, then there's no need to add pointless filler, just send it to us and we'll see if it works.
It must be grammatically correct.
It should talk about the anime, don't write about anything irrelevant. Try not to ramble.
I can let some punctuation errors slide, but make sure it's not too obvious.
Provide explanations for your opinions, and do so coherently.
Try not to have too much filler or redundant tangents.
Try to make the review look professional, jokes are welcome, but no emoticons or slang please.
If you're not sure why your review was denied, send an admin a private message and we'll explain.
If you believe an accepted review is of poor quality or does not match up to the above standards, don't be afraid to express this opinion, as we're willing to hear your arguments.
Your review does NOT need to be on MyAnimeList for it to count, that's only if you want it to be.

If you want your current score for a show to change, let us know. MAL only lets you score using whole numbers, and there is no 0/10 option. However, we won't restrict you like that. If you see a review you made, and want your score to say 7.5/10 rather than 8/10, or if you want it to show 0/10 rather than 1/10, let us know.
