The characters are okay in general, in exchange for a single character that caught my attention. It's simply a decent romance.

Some jokes may overstay its welcome, some tropes may be a bit annoying, but what the staff did is a beautiful adaptation of a truly unhinged romcom.

There's a little something for everyone, and its main appeal is definitely its mystery aspect, with another note commenting on the MC's integral presence on each secret the place beholds.

Now that Re:Zero Part 1 of S3 is over, we have to wait for a while to get Part 2.

Animation looks good, but I was hoping for a more faithful adaptation of video game players rather than shifting into more isekai lore that it decided to spew out of nowhere.

Not a huge fan of characters since their dialogues feel out of touch and off with the premise and setting on its hand, so it feels more of an isekai fantasy with game elements instead.

July 22nd: After binging Saekano, I finally decided to try and watch this back again. I still stand with what I said earlier. It's a very depressing yet hopeful anime that shows despite the desolate atmosphere of the city, you can still have hope for the better future.

Two complaints. One, the pacing is all over the place. Its choice of bringing plot twists out of nowhere brought me no enjoyment.

Two, it should have been a seasonal adaptation. Even if it had lesser episodes or was made a special, it would work.

What a shame for a well-made rom-com to be regressed to this sad botched movie that feels like the most unsatisfying conclusion.

The character dynamic and comedy is good, though sometimes it did felt a bit forced. It's something to watch at least, so if you want something funny, this is a good watch.

This shit made me slam my head on the floor way more than I expected. This shit is horrendously bad, I would not recommend this to anyone I remember. The pacing is just terrible, it goes all over the place like it didn't know where to stick its head into.

It took the last episode to save itself from dropping into a null score. How crazy is that?

Another one goes into the "TOP TIER" romance comedy, alongside My Dress-Up Darling, sharing the crown.

This season and My Dress-Up Darling share the fucking crown as being one of the cutest romantic comedies to ever exist in the 2020s.

Finally managed to finish it after two months of airing. It's not really bad, maybe because the writing is decent at best, literally I don't feel anything after the ending. It's great as a fresh breath of air, but for emotional stakes and well-written characters, it may not be your cup of tea.

MAPPA really pulled all the stops to make this show a reality. The odd soundtrack that manages to be quite fitting for the show, the opening, the well-choreographed animation, and the emotion behind it despite being perceived as a chaotic show overall.

Came back for another shot of Cyberpunk after failing to finish this series. To encapsulate the series in a sentence;

It's like watching a family member slowly ruining their life to an unexplained addiction and you are the one to witness it.

It's been a while since I last touched this series. Back then, it was way too horny and derpy at the time I tried to watch this. But now that I look back with a fresher and mature look on it, it looks pretty good despite it looking too simplistic and have too many confusing elements inside it.

Finally able to finish this part of Dr. STONE. Took me quite a while to get here, but I am pleased to get this off my shoulders.

Honestly, I was quite surprised to actually find a show that knows how to write its characters with them being entertaining and refreshing, though I don't usually laugh whenever they crack some jokes, but I would say that it's worth checking out. I almost missed out on it and I'm glad I actually took the time to watch it. Although the animation can be quite hard to look for the eye, overall it's not bad.

This music video both achieves two purposes for me. One is evoking the sense of nostalgia. The other is beauty in the eyes of the beholder.

I took a rewatch with my little bro, It is still the great volleyball anime I once used to know, and still holds up in quality. With great character growth, intricate knowledge of the volleyball sport, and the intensity of the match, it knows how to keep characters and the plot in an almost perfect balance.

Of course, there are some goofy moments here and there, but it does add up to the charm of Haikyuu!! and does not undermine the sheer energy of what this anime has to offer. Great for anime starters or pure sports fans.

A satisfying final that shows the culmination of all the players that are present in the moment.

Here after a binge-rewatch. If I'm going to be honest with you, this anime does many things these reviewers would usually complain about. Countless flashbacks that happen in the middle of the action, reused animations from previous episodes, and a shit-ton of screaming from MCs. Talk-no-Jutsu happens, but why does this anime work?

The answer, my friend, is the characters and pacing. It's able to make these characters interact with each other without feeling too forced or stretched out. I'd assume I would be bored of it after going for a replay, but as it turns out, it was the opposite. Every character development is well-deserved, creating impactful moments and suspense where we want the main characters to win. This is a class of how to make a good story.

Haikyuu still continues to be interesting and pushing adrenaline in every episode. The growth is still present and doesn't feel stale.

Pretty mild and forgettable. It's tolerable to say the least, but the characters and dialogues could use some polish into it. It's run-of-the-mill quality-ish anime with pretty cliche writing and weak thematic approach.

If we're talking in terms of Millepensee's standards, they did a really good job adapting this. Otherwise, we have a pretty shitty isekai that plays around an original idea and barely utilizing it just to hammer down self-inserted contrived dreams forcefully your throat.

The gaming references are so 'forced and out of touch', it feels like an old guy was throwing gang signs just to look cool.

I pretty much went into it because I'm a fan of the rehabilitation plot.

The character design is just pure eye-candies.

This is an anime that likes spouting as much exposition as they can without any care to slow down. Once that's done, it gives you fast-paced action without any stakes, since the characters aren't given much depth, leading them to be ill-defined and unworthy of our sympathy.
