Every day, Naoto Hachiouji is teased relentlessly by Hayase Nagatoro, a first year student he meets one day in the library while working on his manga. After reading his story and seeing his awkward demeanor, she decides from that moment on to toy with him, even calling him "Senpai" in lieu of using his real name.

At first, Nagatoro's relentless antics are more bothersome than anything and leave him feeling embarrassed, as he is forced to cater to her whims. However, as they spend more time together, a strange sort of friendship develops between them, and Naoto finds that life with Nagatoro can even be fun. But one thing's for sure: his days will never be dull again.

Ijiranaide Nagatoro-san or "Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro" is centered around the antics of Nagatoro, Hayase and Hachiouji, Naoto. Nagatoro constantly "bullies" Haciouji because she has, quite obviously, taken romantic interest in him. Being the pathetic character that he is, Haciouji is oblivious yet lets her stay by his side simply because he loves it. Yes, he loves getting pushed around and constantly toyed with. Their relationship is the same cat and mouse game that you will find in any romance anime, but with a masochistic approach. This back and forth crap of teasing and blushing continues for four episodes and will probably do read more

If you just watch the first episode of Nagatoro, your impression of this anime will be very sour. And I don't blame you. I was ready to go keyboard warrior mode after that horrendous display. But I gave the series a chance. And it turns out... it's not that bad honestly.

Overall: 6/10
Nagatoro is a bit unique for a romance anime. I specify romance because I haven't really found any of the comedic moments funny. I haven't laughed once this series and that's straight facts no printer.

It's interesting to see a BDSM-ish dynamic play out, and I'll admit it's not for everyone: hell I'm not read more

I'm expecting the top reviews to be bad for this series, but the overall score would be good, it's that kind of series. Teasing anime in general fall in this category.

ONe thing you have to keep in mind is that teasing anime is just a different way of romcom, at the end of the day the teasing element is just a way to showcase affection to the other person. It's just a different approach to the romcom genre, the problem arises when the teasing isn't teasing anymore.

anyway I think the best way to describe this series is by a quote I saw on reddit which read more

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san is one of the best slice of life, ecchi, romantic comedies available in anime right now.

Story: The story is similar to many other ecchi romantic comedies with it's comedy skits and school setting. It starts off with Nagatoro teasing Hachiouji so much it seems like bullying but once you get through the initial episode, it becomes obvious that she likes him. There isn't much to the story yet, with it being one comedy skit after another with no overarching plot. I hope it will add more depth in future episodes to develop the characters.

Art: The art and animation are well done for an read more
