Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2

Even after spending a considerable amount of time with Takagi, Nishikata is still struggling to find a perfect plan to defeat the expert teaser. A battle of wits, a contest of physical prowess, a test of courage—any strategy he employs to expose her weaknesses is to no avail. On the contrary, Nishikata's pitiful attempts only reveal more of his own flaws, which Takagi takes advantage of to become increasingly daring in her teasing attempts. To make things worse for Nishikata, rumors about him and Takagi may have spread in class due to the frequent interactions between them.

However, the optimistic Nishikata believes that wisdom comes with age and that as the days go by, his experience with her constant teasing will eventually bear fruit, leading him to the awaited moment of victory. Thus, Nishikata continues to strive for the seemingly impossible—to outsmart Takagi and make her blush with embarrassment.

Wow, the second season of this anime has wrapped up, and what a ride it’s been! If you remember from my last review, this series is such a delightful escape from reality. It’s like the perfect little bubble of joy—no stress, just pure fun! There’s something so therapeutic about those carefree anime shows, isn’t there?

In this season, I was really impressed by how much the main characters developed. And let’s not forget the trio of girls who are just as adorable and hilarious as always! I can’t help but feel like I see bits of myself in each of them. Plus, there was definitely ... more romance this time around! The main focus was clearly on the love story between the two leads, and even though we didn’t get any big confessions or kisses, it was just a sweet and delightful watch!

Now, let’s dive into the four main points of the season. First off, the story really took strides, especially when it comes to the romance! We got to see the characters get closer and their feelings deepen, which was heartwarming. The humor was still strong, keeping that lighthearted vibe we love. Character development was also evident—it's like the characters have grown up a bit since last season, adding some nice layers to their personalities.

As for the animation, it maintained the same quality as before—no complaints here! Everything looked great, and it flowed really well. And the sound design? Just as fantastic as we’ve come to expect!

With just one season and a movie left to go, I’m super excited to see a memorable romantic moment for these charming, cute, lovely, and funny characters. Can’t wait!

Mixed Feelings

Ok so a season 2 of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2 or Skilled Teaser Miss Takagi has ended, ok so if you're Nishkata how would you get back at Takagi who has been teasing you for quite sometime??? Flip her skirt and see what color of panty she's wearing, pull a nasty prank at here by spiking her drink or food with some date rape drug, splash her with some cold water or just tell her that she fat and needs to loose some weight.

Unfortunately for Niskata he was just too damn stupid, that he seems to be a glutton for punishment, cu'z ... he just keeps on making all kinds of lame strategies that always end in failure, so how do I rate this mediocre anime?????

Story- Mediocre 5: Everything about it was just as usual, the same Takagi teasing Nishkata, Niskata being the usual sucker, the 3 girls Mina, Sanae, and Yukari who basically represent this anime's slice of life segment, not even the addition of new love birds Hamaguchi and Hujou hardly make any difference with this anime's story plot.

Art- Mediocre 5: The only changes around here was the uniform, were we see them characters in their winter outfit , but there was that one time Mina in a hot yellow bikini in her dream sequence and that's as good as it gets.

Sound- Mediocre 5: I got nothing to say.

Character- Mediocre 5: The same Takagi who still teases Nishkata, Nishkata being the usual sucker, the same 3 girls with their own segment , the addition of two new lover birds Hamaguchi and Hujou were just the extension of Mano and Nakai.

Enjoyment-Mediocre 5: Well given the predictability of the characters, there were some episodes that I've watched but there were some that I've skipped. I mean what's the point if if gonna be Niskata getting tease by Takagi

Overall - Mediocre 5: At one point this would have been good as a 3 episode OVA rather than a 2nd season, cu'z it was just boring that studio Shin-Ei Animation should've have not made a sequel when the manga has already ended. So just read the manga and you'll know how it ended.

Preliminary (1/12 eps)

I absolutely loved the first season so it may be petty of me, but I can't bring myself to watch this one due to the switch of voice actors for the two main characters. It wouldn't have been a big deal if the side characters had different voices, but the two main characters? The quality of the voices is also much worse on top of the switch (almost unprofessional sounding?)

I obviously didn't give this one a fair chance seeing as I only got 20 seconds in before realizing something was off. The characters I had just gotten to know from the first season feel totally ... different and it's like starting all over, they just aren't the same.
