3 friends having fun with each other and interacting with lots of different people. Both have great comedy in them and both are quite enjoyable.

it's the similar comedy but with other gender.

Do you like the skit based, character centered comedy of Nichijou, especially its strong main core of Tsukomi-Boke-Weirdo characters, but just wished that instead of being cute and wholesome, it was cynical and mean spirited? In that case, this is the show for you!

Features school girl friends, and the humor is super similar. They're both stupid in the best ways. The characters are super ridiculous and a lot of the humor comes from them making fun of each other.

Sometimes you just can’t get enough of a high school girl trio and their silly antics. Thankfully, Aiura has been succeeded by anime like Joshikousei no Mudazukai, which uses character types similar to those in Aiura. The shenanigans of Nozomu from Joshikousei and Kanaka from Aiura are often used in order to elicit reactions from their fellow cast mates, but most of the characters in these shows are still quirky and fun enough to carry their own scenes if need be. So if you enjoyed the dynamics between the characters in Aiura, then you might want to give Joshikousei no Mudazukai a shot as well.

The dumb but loveable MC gets into all sort of shenanigans with her cast of friends! Also featuring dedicated teachers with moral integrity of steel.

All girls' anime. No romance. No action. No troublesome villain. Pure comedy and Pure relaxation. And yes, Cute girls doing cute things.

IF you're like me, you love a diverse cast of cute and beautiful anime girls. Both have this! More seriously, they both are pretty light-hearted and have comedic moments, but this one just takes away all the heavy emotions from araburu.

it's not a love story, it's comedy but if you liked this anime I am almost certain that you will have fun with this one.

The ridiculous setting and humor is not identical, but also very frantic and fun.

stupid school comedy

Both of them have 3 main characters with almost the same characterization. Sacchan = Baka (noisy & ridiculous) Yui = Wota (shy) Kotoha = Robo (serious) You could say, Joshikousei no Mudazukai (JnM) is the high school version, Mitsuboshi Colors is the elementary school version. Although JnM has many supporting characters who are the same age & Mitsuboshi Colors usually plays outside school hours.

Under the layer of heartwarming school comedy we can see bunch of sad characters trying hard to overcome those feelings. In case of Joshikousei no Mudazukai it applies more to side characters which the main trio meets.

Similar humor of girls being weird to a slightly unrealistic extent.

anime with comedy involving lots of female characters and weird humor

The character development pacing is almost the same. Each characters have their own section to be introduced and has a pretty good dynamic development over time and doesn't ever feel rushed. The only difference is Joshikousei no Mudazukai is dominated by female casts, yet still serve a vast of interactions between characters.

Both have a cast full of unique and weird characters who interact with each other in a mean but loving way. Both have absurd, comical situations sprout from the weirdness of the characters.

Both series have three highschool girls as the main characters, and shows their silly antics and their interactions with other eccentric characters.

Comedies where every character is eccentric, with some similar character tropes.

Two anime about eccentric girls (and some boys in Hyakko) just having fun through their school lives. The way everyone has some kind of a funny distinct quirk is the same in both of them.

Main girls are somewhat fun in the same style. Similar style of comedy, the anime is full of humor, and both are super hilarious and fun.

Both shows are about a group of teen girls spending time in silly and entertaining ways. Azumanga Daioh pretty much started this whole genre and is a must watch.

A group of friends have fun together and face problem that are logic and relatable to our daily life. Either style of comedy or pastel color of the art is similar.

Similar style of absurdist, pun-based, schoolgirl ensemble humor, and both absolutely hilarious =D

When I started watching "Wasteful Days of High School Girls" (WD), I was immediately struck by the similarity in sound design to "Girls' Last Tour" (GLT) - which, for me, contributes heavily to the feel of a show. The dynamic amongst the main character had some similarities as well, with a standard funny-man/straight-man comedy setup. GLT is much darker compared to WD, which is a more standard slice of life, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend GLT for everyone. However, it is worth considering.
