Synopsis

This is a story that revolves around certain students and one hobby. Amano Keita is our lonely protagonist who has a passion for gaming and is friends with Uehara Tasuku, who is secretly a fellow gamer and is someone who believes his life is perfect. We also have Karen Tendou, the club president of the video games club and Chiaki Hoshinomori, who constantly bickers with Keita. This is a story filled with a non-stop sequence of comedy scenes and misunderstandings. Our chaotic romantic comedy now begins!

First review, but I felt like some of this needed to be said and I felt I've seen enough.
This does contain some spoilers, I suppose.

Gamers has a cool premise: modern gaming, where there's a school club for it and the leader is a popular and pretty blonde girl who tries to find other gamers and recruit them - but the main lead says no to joining!

The first few episodes seemed pretty decent and I was enjoying the show. After a few episodes, things got really frustrating. The show steered away from video games and gaming culture for the most part and turned into an read more

Gaming has stuck with me since childhood. Many memories were made from it, and new friends were met because of it. So I thought to myself that as a gamer, this anime would definitely stick out to me. It definitely did, in more ways than one.

Misunderstandings: The Anime has something going for it. Brought to you by Studio Pine Jam .-.

We have our MC, Keita, who seems to be one of the most passionate people for gaming. He does almost nothing but look down on his phone, doing what he does best: gaming.

In Keita, I see myself. Although not as addicted as he is, read more

If you asked me to describe this whole anime in one phrase, it'd be that it's *damn relatable*. Gamers! captures the complete essence of what it means to be a gamer and this is seen even in the first 3 episodes. Read on to understand how this anime made me go out and write a preliminary review for the first time.

Story: 10/10

Now I hear you say "10?! You're a fanboy!". Lemme explain, Gamers! has a very very relatable plotline (about how gamers feel in society and how they cope with it), that really ups the ante to a new level. Few anime ever reach this read more

Typically I can't even decide if I'll like an anime after just 4 episodes but this time I NEED to write this review in order to persuade people into watching this.

So, first time I saw this I was convinced it's some kind of copy of "Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?". They're both basically about the same thing (slice of life in a video game club) but their execution is way different.

This anime basically completes netoge in some areas and it seems to explore the social aspect of video game geeks. At the same time, it seems to be a manifesto for read more
