Yes SAO is my favorite anime and before you say anything NO I am not saying it is the best anime. I am saying IT IS MY FAVORITE and I want to stop all the bandwagon hate and show people that it is a GOOD anime. Let me say it again IT IS NOT THE BEST ANIME IN THE WORLD. IT IS MY FAVORITE and it disserves at least a 7(good) from everyone because of the story art and MUSIC (FUCK!!!!! THE MUSIC!!!!!). One of the reasons why the second half sucked was because after Reki Kawahara finished the Aincrad arc that was where the story was supposed to end. He wrote SAO Aincrad arc for a light novel competition in like 2002 and unexpectedly got a top prize. Then the publishers were like “ok cool great story. Soooo… what's next?” He had no schooling under his belt for writing or story telling when he wrote the Fairy Dance arc (So take that into consideration when you watch it). It was truly a fantastic story premise for the time and fresh new idea. Also if you are one of the BUTT hurt individuals who wanted more Aincrad, have you heard/read/watched a little thing called Sword Art Online Progressive??????? I will be the chosen hero to stand in front of the hordes of bandwagon haters and say "SWORD ART IS A GOOD ANIME GIVE IT A CHANCE AFTER FAIRLY DANCE!!!!!!!"
