JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai

- Normal people receiving random powers and using them not for any big cause, but for their own sake - There's no clear line between good and evil - Very good character development - Bright colors, beautiful art, unforgettable music - Unforgettable antagonists with deep character development and fully understandable reasons to act - Good exploration of the theme "friendship", with an acceptable number of clichés and tropes - Relatable characters, very likable main squad - Fights based on the smart use of the fighters' quirks, not only their brawns - Both are shonen from experienced and mature authors, and are considered for many to be their magna opera 

Jojo has amazing power system just like nen from hxh , very creative and have originality. 

Both have heavy action, amazing animation and a fenomenal story with interesting characters. Only difference is that HxH is longer but has a better way of connecting you to the characters. 

Both are mainly used psych and mind instead of punch when it comes to fighting and hard to predict, Hisoka is pretty much describing the flamboyant and machismo symbolism in the Jojo series, Kira is pretty similar to meruem, using animal as symbol/form and releasing purple aura, or considered as the best villain in the series itself, and features very likeable squad and casts like gon and co. and the duwang gang 

Thoughtful and likable characters using their unique powers to fight each other with themes of friendship and community. Mp100 is basically a kinder and shorter version of part four with even better visuals and music 

Both happen in a school environment, influences Slice of life, exaggerated comedy, besides being equally episodic and if they are the subject of supernatural situations in a specific city 

The small town school life atmosphere with superpowers is the same. The interactions are also similar. Mob Psycho 100 is a less serious version. 

Really shocked there isn't a recommendation for this yet but. Both are slice of life battle shonen that build up to really hype moments. Gives side characters alot of screen time. they got josuke in both its crazy.  

Show about teens in trying to balance school life, friends/family, a murder-mystery case, and psychic avatars with strange and unique powers. 

Persona 4 was heavily inspired by Part 4's Plot -Personas are basically Stands -They are both about a group of High School Students trying to find a killer -Unlike Persona 4, you know who the killer is in Part 4, which adds depth to his character  

A small, insignificant town in the japanese country where brutal murders occurred, young protagonists that want to discover the truth, helped by powerful spirits based on their personalities. Persona 4 has clearly taken inspiration from Jojo's part 4, but it has its own identity. 

The similarities between Persona 4 and Diamond is Unbreakable are well known, but I just wish to highlight them yet again because of just how similar these anime really are. The plots are incredibly similar: a group of people in a small peaceful town work together to solve murders committed through supernatural means. In addition, despite technically being murder mysteries, both are seen as the "happy entry" in their respective series, featuring numerous slice of life moments in which the characters are just messing around together. For instance: the boys in Persona 4 entering a crossdressing pageant, and Josuke playing dice with Rohan. Both anime also feature a cast of characters with "punchy ghost" powers (stands and personas are basically the same thing). read more 

All the characters feel samey (Josuke is like Uremashi, Okuyasu is like Kuwabara) in a good way and each episode is addictive. Also using paranormal and psychic-esque abilities try to find a mass murderers. 

The most distinct similarity between Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable and Yuu Yuu Hakusho is that they are both set in 90s Japan suburbs. Moreover, the cast of both shows are comprised of teenagers who fight against the forces of evil by using their supernatural abilities. Like Jojo Part 4, Early Yuu Yuu Hakusho also has slice-of-life elements in which the protagonists have to defeat the "villain of the week" through strategic and unpredictable methods.  

This follows two teenage boys in highschool trying to solve mysteries and save humanity. The main characters have similar personalities. The authors are friends and did art for each other. Araki draws clear lines of inspiration from yuyu hakusho in this season. Definitely worth a watch.  

Araki got some serious inspiration in Yu Yu Hakusho while making the part 4 of jojo, the archetypes of the two main characters in both animes are almost equal, being Yusuke and Josuke some kind of delinquent students and they have their closest friend, Kuwabara and Okuyasu being both of them dumb and kind-hearted, also Koichi got his entire design from the character Kiyoshi Mitarai. 

Main cast of teenagers who lives in a modern japanese city. They must deal with supernatural events to help other people; using the autoconclusive chapter formula. Also, both has good comedy and drama, pretty indicate to their target; instead have childish humor and forced overacted drama, like most of shounen. 

Bakemonogatari and Jojo part 4 are really similar and not a lot of people seem to notice it for some reason. Both shows take place in bizarre towns with a lot of strange happenings and equally strange people. The protagonists befriends some of those said people in extremely well written arcs that introduces the characters in a perfect way that makes the story feel at least 10 times more complete. That and the plot of both the shows about defeating small menaces around the city makes Jojo DIU and Bakemonogatari strangely similar.  

Instead of relying on shock value,you use moist value instead,both anime are about mysteries,like example: Who makes Koyomi become a vampire? Who is the Killer of the morioh city And more similar themes They have similar colorful and fluid art/animation, Fighting and solving mystery of supernatural themes, Centered in school life, sometimes Heartwarming 

similar settings (a small town, seemingly perfect, but with mysterious, borderline horror, stuff going on) and similar tones (serious comedy, unrealistic plots, over-the-top reactions). the main differences are the length of the shows (migi&dali being a single cour) and the fact that jojo includes fights. 

Hidden ugly side of pretty neat towns and supposedly decent people.  

There is an unreal amount of pure, stupid fun to be had with both series. Characters in each series have awesomely-designed costumes and often have crazy, over-the-top abilities. There's an easy-to-follow "monster of the week" formula in both series that eventually evolves into a struggle against a more powerful, ultimate villain. Both shows have a hint of slice-of-life behind all of the madness. It's worth mentioning that Kill la Kill draws some notable influences from JoJo, namely the spontaneous posing, crazy fighting, and some of the costumes. 

They both are the best examples of tihs decade. They both have hilarious moments, fun characters, uniqe art style and story which different from any other shows. 

It's in the same universe and uses some of the characters 

Jojo is my favorite anime, and Jojo and Boku no Hero have a fun feel with crazy battles and both are amazing series. Sure I like Jojo more, but both are amazing shows. Plus they both have funny visual gags 

Both feature time travel and a serial killer on the loose. Both antagonists only want to live a quiet life. 

While Persona 5 is more similar to Vento Aureo, it has a lot of similarities with the previous Jojo chapter, too. The premise is identical: a group of students (with the help of some outsiders) fighting crime "indirectly", that is summoning their personal spirits to brawl against other fighting spirits, all of them with lots of powers and rad designs.
