Oof. The finals pain is relatable... I'm also starting my finals on Tuesday as well, until the 25th of Jan 😭😭😭. I'll read manga now and then tho, because I'm not that studious lmao.

I currently prefer reading manga to watching anime in general, since it's easier to access and can be done anywhere, so I'll probably read the Blue Lock manga instead of the anime.

For Oshi no Ko, I'm not against dark stuff, I love them if anything, it's just not what I was expecting at first lol. But now that I'm prepared for what's to come, I'll definitely pick it up again soon. Akasaka Aka is goated, and I have no doubt in his amazing storytelling.

Don't forget to tell me what you think of it, if you decide to read "I sold my life for 10,000 yen a year" (the title is too damn long xd)

Oh btw, I mean similar in the sense that its protagonist starts off as a loser like Kurosawa lmao

Onanie Master Kurosawa was my first ever manga, which I admittedly read for unwholesome reasons lol, but it was way better than I expected. Even after reading so many mangas, it's still in my top 10.
If you like it, I recommend "Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta. Ichinen ni Tsuki, Ichimanen de." (I sold my life for 10,000 yen per year). It's my fav manga of all time.
It's pretty similar, and the protagonist is painfully relatable, at least for me. And it's super short. Only 18 Chapters.

I was considering starting Blue Lock. I'm not really into sports, but I heard it's really good regardless. But since it already has an anime now, would you recommend watching it first or the manga?

I just finished the prologue of Oshi no Ko and put it on-hold. I expected some SoL music stuff, but it hit different xd. I'll pick it up sometime later when I finish some of the mangas I'm reading tho.

Yooo, I love Bocchi! One of my favorite series this year for sure. And yeah, I'm caught up with the CSM manga. In fact, I love it so much it's one of the very few mangas I've read multiple times.
