OK, so it seems not too hard to follow the new anime of Kinnikuman after watching ep 0. Seems similar to like other shonen I would have watched waay back then. Heck, even MHA has a similar vibe. I'm hoping with some of those shonen anime or manga ending we get some newer ones or even see Kinnikuman get the spotlight.

And also from what I remember they censored it and changed stuff in the english dub like typical 4Kids.

I'm shocked no one has done any fansubs or subs for it. I know Discotek Media did some blu-ray for Ultimate Muscle I heard.

It is a pretty good replacement for all the shonen/battle shonen that have ended be it the manga and/or the anime. The recap episode helped a bit but going back and reading the manga would be probably best. The last thing we had before the video game was the Ultimate Muscle anime I know. The Eng Dub of that is...quite iffy at best. The sub I'm sure is fine, though.

About Kinnikuman, yes it´s a short arc. It's not getting much attention, except among those of us who knew it before. I hope the same as you, and that they release new episodes soon. The good thing about it is that Netflix is streaming it and that's a good sign.

Me too. And by the way, I am reading Steel Ball Run, the 7th part of JoJo. Sooner or later I'll catch up to JoJolion and The JOJOLands. And yes, I'll watch all of Kinnikuman as well as Lupin III series, movies and specials next year.

I try to watch at least 3 episodes a day. Which is only 1 hour 10 minutes. Most days I'll watch 90 minutes to 2 hours worth. Which adds up to basically finishing stuff quite regularly. Also the watching 1 thing at a time really does help.

I see that you're watching Shin Mazinger Shougeki Z-Hen. What do you think about that anime, so far?

Personally, i loved the show. It took everything that made the original anime from 1972 very special, and give an nice modern look to the characters and the mechas, with an epic and awesome storyline, and awesome music that feels very 70-ish, along with some badass songs from JAM Project.

I agree and yes i was sspeaking of the first released episode on Netflix (episode 0), right now i just finished the second episode name "episode 1" and i can tell you that it was way better in terms of action and pace. Thankx for the reply!

It's one of my favorites! I'm rewatching it with my girlfriend, actually, and I highly recommend it. However, as much as I like, I have to admit, it's not for everyone. Gintama has its cool and emotional moments that are very great, but most of the time, it's a silly comedy, which is a barrier for a lot of people. There are even guides saying "which episodes of Gintama you can skip". But if you like silly comedies, you'll love it! The serious moments will be a bonus.
