Who are some of your favorite wrestlers & what are some of your favorite matches?
Nothing too special. Probably just spend the break at my boyfriend's. Exams like, the week after break, haha. Its been on and off snow here. Personally, winter's always been my favourite season so I'm seriously hopin it actually snows decent 'fore Christmas.
See, I got this project for Chemistry due tonight(whoops) that I needed to pick a unique topic and just do some work with. Did blood transfusion since I thought I could be decent on the biology bit too -- didn't realize I needed a demonstrative piece. Fuck. Hell am I supposed to do to 'demonstrate' a blood transfusion? This is like half my grade too! Agh.
You know, YuGiOh, the manga anyway but never supposed to be about the card game. Rather just a on-set on different games, just so happened that the Duel Monsters chapter absolutely piled in popularity. Look what that got that..
Always thought it'd be fun to see what could have been if the premise stayed the same! Though funnily enough, I don't think I would have adored it as much. More or less loved blatant advertising in my shows as a kid, I guess! At the same time, a decent, or, shall I say darker manga-accurate adaptation would have been great to see. DSOD will perhaps be the best example of that. Season zero Kaiba had bright green hair so that just automatically knocks it down like, six points and makes it unwatchable.
Like, I know it's petty but I seriously don't care how 'dark' and 'meaningful' it is when Bakura looks like _that_ and Yugi's a whopping two foot three inches. But... I will say the manga does the great job ignoring that Yami was genuinely just a psychopath in the first couple volumes. I know, I know, it was for "justice" but c'mon man, it's not ancient Egypt anymore, you can't just stone everyone who mildly inconveniences you! I will appreciate the the prompt to make him more neutral than the 100% heroic do-gooder the anime makes him out to be. As much as people complain about the 4KIDS censorship even the raw anime has always been more childish and watered-down!
- Cool! I have to be honest, the reason my steam account's practically defunct is cause I pirate all my games.
But, celeb world championship, huh? Reminds me of those old trashy 'dragon ball plays' videos with like, a still frame of Vegeta on the top left with some guy doing the worst impression ever to an even worse playthrough of like, Gary's Mod.
Now, I have actually watched Cat's Eye! It's an easy watch with that good charm any show from the 80s has. Not my favourite from the genre, sure, but nothing too offensive.
Here just to be fair ill give you a quick like, two word review of everything:
ASHITA NO JOE - I see a lot of people calling it underwhelming but it was way beyond it's time!! Like cmon, no way you're saying the animation's bad. Yeahh it's nothing crazy but seriously, look at like, any American 70s/80s b-list super hero show and tell me it was ANY better. Likeable characters, with a digestible plot.. no qualms!
AZUMANGA - Cute. Appeals most to autistic guys.
FLCL - Crazy visuals with the most appealing art style ive seen in a long time! Again, not a favourite by far but there's enough merit in there that I think it earnestly deserves it's rating.
FMA - I actually preferred the original to brotherhood! Though, brotherhood *is* the objectively better more accurate one. Great the manga finally got the adaptation it deserved!
Galactic Heroes - I'll be honest, it's so damn cheesy: my kind of show! Gonna save you the bias...
GS MIKAMI - Got a thing for older shows, eh? Think it appeals more to a shojou cast but it's fun nonetheless. Minus the random frames of art that look utterly hideous...not a wasteful watch!
EXCEL SAGA - Refer back to Azumanga Daiou ^
Monster - Definitely a hit or miss. I didn't love Johan so I guess im not a real fan. I'm trying to learn to be a real alpha male dickrider. We'll see. The most fun I had watching a show ;-)
CAPTAIN TAYOR - Now this one's right up your alley! It's stupid but helluva lotta fun.
Maybe we could watch something together sometime if that ever sounds appealing to you..LOL!
That's a very sweet way to look at things, I'm glad it working out for you.
I do want to say the old and new Testaments of the bible are radical in that the former is certainly more of a historical piece. For Catholics, anyway, while it's up to interpretation, most of the creed is made up in the latter half, naturally. Not that anything else should be disregarded per se, but rather Christ's death should be taken with adoration. It's not *quite* right to only take the old testament to define a religion that only bears its roots there! Most criticism I see for the bible almost always comes from the old testament, which again, isn't the best place for say, advice or preaching hahah. :^)
You know what bible bingo is? When you flip to a random verse and take it like a fortune cookie to base your day: Exodus 21:20 today according to biblegate. Enjoy your free slave beating day.
Okay, okay, if you haven't been able to figure out already, I **love** YuGiOh. Well, Duel Monsters anyway. I couldn't really care less bout GX or card games on motorcycles (sorry YuGiOh fans...) Regardless, DSOD was cool. I'm sure no one expected a genuine addition to the original series that wasn't another shitty mobile game. Not to mention, it really tones back to the Manga, especially in regards to Bakura's characterization -- sweet considering the poor guy hardly got the development he deserved! I mean, in the movie too he immediately gets duped to some other realm.. but still. My only real qualm was Kaiba and Yugi's relationship. I always took the ending of DM to insinuate Kaiba finally accepted Yugi as both a 'worthy' duelist and a man, having beaten Atem and also being able to accept the ultimate outcome of winning. Now, I know it's implied Kaiba was grieving just as much as Yugi and simply didn't or couldn't show it the same way, hence obsessing over beating the Pharoah _but_ it does ultimately undermine that whole development with Kaiba needing to come around to Yugi again! This time his duel with Diva.
But to be completely fair, I'm just being a little fastidious, overanalyzing a sappy 90s show ;^)
Though in the manga I think there was some one-off "oh yeah Yami can pull whatever card he wants whenever technically" bullshit but whatever. Chalk it back up to strat.
Speaking of, are you into the actual card game at all? I don't know if I'm just too much of an idiot to get it but I had to drop after middleschool when they added like, ten more new summons hahah.
Level 86 on steam - oh my. I have a whopping 2 hours on CS;GO and like, one friend. I need to start like, grinding.
Also while I'm on this, I hate Terraria!! Jesus Christ I can't go one day without like thirty popups in the corner "Jabbathehut88 is playing terraria" every hour. Double that if it's a mod. One more day of this and I'm gonna legitimately crash.

Anyway, I can't help but agree. Religion in general, all religion comes with that brutal stereotype. And naturally, it's nothing to blame either, just something that comes from history with how technical and uptight culture can get. But, the underlines to all that is simple faith. Personally, anyway, I think religion is the most personal and unexplainable thing. See, technically I'm Roman Catholic but God knows I believe, let alone, *do* all those little this-and-thats. To me, I feel close to God and try to be just as good back - way more than enough. Of course, that's an awfully debatable subject, to which I don't have a problem with. See, it's more or less the same, the end-goal is to realize that humanity and life by extension is something both purposeful and meaningful. We're all made with the innate sense to serve fellow men; empathy's a human trait afterall. But that takes the time for firstly becoming acquainted with oneself. I needed to open up to God to see that, is all!
Now, if you really, sincerely, genuinely, believe from the depths of your heart your one true vocation in life is to absolutely jerk at everything and anything 'cause you saw one of a million of God's hissy fits in the old testament on Instagram randomly two years ago....then like, do that I guess. Bath salts are quicker but like, you know, go talk to God or whatever.
To answer your latter question, Ezekiel 18:19's pretty sweet. Cop out answer...I know :P
- Dude, I LOVED DSOD. I don't even care if it totally just a cash grab on nostalgia points. 1]Mokuba's not painfully ugly for once and 2)Yugi isn't the size of an overgrown gopher. (I never hear anyone talk about it, so I don't know if this is just a 'me' thing but I really, with all my heart, hated both Bakura and Jonouchi re'designs. Not in that in their bad per se, rather that they're the only characters who didn't benefit from it. Jounouchi just doesn't look good there! Agh.)
Kaiba's always been an amusing character. They totally got his camp with going so outta his way to make a magical time-travel replica doo-hickey deus-ex-machina device just to get a one-up on Atem.
Okay but you know what, Kaiba's always going on about "settling the score"...
The Pharaoh wins.
He ALREADY won.
Theres no score **to** settle. In fact, the scores probably like, 0-10 by now.
But, then again, easily one of the best character themes. So, 1-10 maybe?
