Similar in many ways:
Hollow = Trion Soldiers
Arrancar = Neighbor
Seireitei = Border
The only major difference is Bleach have only 1 protagonist(Ichigo) while World Trigger have 2 protagonists(Yuma and Osamu/dual protagonist sort of thing)
Protagonists of both series are attacked by invaders of another world, then saved by someone with powers to defeat them. An organization is dedicated to fighting these invaders (neighbors/hollows), both have a hierarchy of multiple squads and leaders, filled with an incredibly large cast of characters with colorful designs and personality, so it's difficult to not find at least one character you enjoy.
If you miss Bleach then you'll likely find a lot you like here, both contain action packed power-up based fights with comedy mixed in-between, tone is similar as both are adaptations of manga series published in Weekly Shounen Jump. It should also be noted that there is invasion arcs in both, with humanoid versions of the enemy (aftokrator/arrancars). read more
Two shonen series that share similarities: An organization that protects the human world of creatures from other worlds using portals to traverse the worlds. The heroes struggle with other bodies to protect his real body.
Both of those anime are about a Gate which suddenly appeared in Japan, and monsters came out of it.
In both of them the monsters are pushed back and even the people go to the other world to fight and investigate
A gate to another world opens in Japan and the government has to do something about it.
Young men are trained to fight the unknown enemies coming from the other side.
Both also share military routine as a theme, though Border Organization in World Trigger is a bit different from usual military headquarters.
Lets be honest here. Basically World Trigger is like the Sci-Fi version of AoT. In both a Town is constantly threatened by an "titanic" unknown force of which they have little knowledge about. Also in both Anime there exist a Military defense force that fights against these enemies with advanced technologie. These defense forces go to away missions to explore the area of the enemy. We have strong MC's and also Trainees. All in all World Trigger is the more child friendly Sci-Fi version of Attack on Titan.
Both anime are about a town being attacked by giant, non-human creatures that humanity didn't originally have the technology to fight. The Titans in Shingeki no Kyojin are like the Neighbors in World Trigger, and the Scouting Legion is like Border.
What the 2 have in common?
1. Both have the same run of the mill alien invasion, except in World Trigger the invaders came from another dimension, while in Nobunagun the invaders came from outer space.
2.Both have involves organizations that were responsible for dealing with the invaders, by using the same tech that the invaders were using.
3. Both have the same group of characters who fight them invaders, that wasn't limited to one character.
There are several things these shows have in common, namely:
1. Both shows are about humans being under siege, in OnS it's by vampires, and in WT it's by "Neighbours". In OnS most of humanity has been wiped out, but in WT it's never really made clear if the damage only applies to that specific area in the world or if there are other places.
2. Both shows feature main "companies" that were created to defeat these enemies:
OnS: Moon Demon Company - WT: Border
3. Both shows have similar enemies, that also are similar in power/strength:
OnS: 4 Horsemen of John - WT: Trion Soldiers
OnS: Noble vampires - WT: Humanoid Neighbour,
4. Both shows have similar weapons and rank to them, the strongest ones being:
OnS: Black demon series - WT: Black Triggers
In both shows, they come with some form of requirement and are only compatible with a few people
OnS is more fantasy-oriented
OnS has better animation but is much shorter
WT is most likely aimed at a slightly younger audience
WT is lighter, and focuses more on the combat, strategy and tactics while OnS focuses a lot more on the relationships between the characters read more
In both animes, they have special organisations who can fight the enemies, they need to work in a team to fight overpowering non-human enemies, and they need a special weapon to be able to kill the enemies.
Boku no Hero Academy S2 and World Trigger:
Both have a arc dedicated to demonstrating their abilities, which will use it to fulfill their goals, in a competition, where they fight against their allies, until they get that satisfaction of being part of a force majeure, and protect people by themselves, either together or separately.
Unlike BnH, World Trigger skills are not that much of a difference, but like BnH, there are some with particularities, powers or abilities that make them different from the rest.
The main protagonists are partly similar:
Okumo (WT) and Deku (BnH): They possess their notorious weaknesses, but struggle every day to be stronger.
Chika (WT) and Ochako (BnH): They admire the prota, their abilities are notoriously surprising, they are cheerful, innocent and strong to make progress.
Kuga (WT) and Todoroki (BnH): They possess inherited abilities, but they are skills that left a mark that can not easily be erased.
Jin (WT) and All Might (BnH): They are veterans, who support with some distance the protagonists to achieve their objectives. read more
Both shows have a similar feel and combat scenes.
There are people who fight those who would otherwise hurt the world. World Trigger deals with aliens while Boku no Hero Academia deals with criminals.
The main protagonists grow in a similar way and learn to fight. Both main characters are successful because of their strategy and wit. If you like one, you will most likely like the other.
In Boku no Hero Academia, the main character works to reach the potential of his strength whereas for World Trigger the main character does so even as you don't see it immediately. Both of them grow to save the world in their own way. read more
Both of these series have 'Humanoid' beings that are fought against. Beyond that there are a few similar characters and organizations.
Yuuma and Killua are actually quite alike. If you liked one of them, it's not hard to like the other. They both come from violent backgrounds, and have bodies that would exceed human (And otherwise) norms because of the past they lived.
The main characters from both series belong to an organization that fights (Generally) for the protection of others. They are both large, and prominent organizations that hold many similarities.
Both of these series have four main characters, even if it doesn't always focus the show directly on them.
The 'Villains' of both of these series are interesting and even have some similar reasoning behind why they do it. Both of the main villains from the anime go after humans for power. Both of them are humanoid, and many other subtle similarities.
Anyway, they are both equally as enjoyable and I loved them both personally so trust me I have great taste. :)  read more
Well I guess I've only seen 1 ep of Qualidea Code, but so far it has lots of similarities to World Trigger. The main characters of World Trigger are more sympathetic, and there are a lot more characters in general, but otherwise superpowers, alien invaders etc the same.
We all have an idol, that someone who pushes us to overcome our weaknesses, like these protagonists, who want to learn. At his side, a veteran, who supported him from the front or back, a cheerful girl with great potential, a boy with inherited abilities with wounds without being erased. Two series where there are unique abilities, powerful rivals, lifelong partners fighting for the same goal and opponents who hide in the shadows.
World Trigger is a sci-fi version of Naruto, using science instead of magic to explain the same things. There are similarities between Chakra and Trion in concept, and in how they can be used in battle.
The two series have a similar vibe and pace, and parallels between attitudes and character types.
There are several common themes in both anime, such as steadily overcoming difficulties, surpassing geniuses through hard work, and self-discovery and acceptance.
Weather it be long and surreal, or shorter and more of a dramatic comedy. If you like the first then more likely then not you will like the other. Take a "bite" out of two similar plots but with very different "tastes".
Both series have universal weapons which every character can and does use. Triggers for WT and bombs for Btooom. Each individual could win in a battle and the winner depends on who has the better tactics.
The stories both revolve around highschool students wich follow the goal of protecting humanity and their loved ones from the antagonists of each series. While they have some in common they do have some in uncommon, like the love story between Shinichi and his girl, a love story that isn't in WorTri but a story of Osamu doing all he can to protect Chika wich is like a little sister to him.
In both anime people awaken a power and make special weapons to help them fight inter-dimensional beings and save the world from them. The main characters form a team to hunt more efficiently the inter-dimensional beings.
-Both anime has concept of multiple Earths/worlds and sci-fi based.
-Enemy from different Earth comes to this Earth and people fights it. In World Trigger,it's people in Border Defense fights with a special weapon called "trigger." In Bokurano,it's 15 kids fights with a huge robot called "Zearth"
Interesting shows in a futuristic setting, both have characters that use guns and fight with each other. They also have a militaristic system of rankings set in a school. Lots of action and sci-fi elements present in both.
Both anime have these 'space quakes' in which beings from another dimension seem to appear from. The cities where these quakes have adapted to them happening and people otherwise live their same old lives since before they started happening, though people do have to evacuate every time they happen.
Oh, and some really weird people tend to come from that other dimension.
Yuuki Yuuna and Kuga Yuuma has a similar attack pattern such as demonic hyper ultra punch, that can bring down one monster in one punch...
Yuuki Yuuna and Kuga Yuuma cares for her/his best comerades
both share the same justice role and save people from some creature
both transform before fighting, and still unmasked even transformed (lol)
I just hope for some male characters appear in Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru, then it would be compared~
- Aiko Tachibana = Chika Amatori Both can sense and attract the "monsters"
- Akiko Nanbara = Kido Masamune Same role and even the exact same table pose(A.I.C.O Opening)
- Yuuya Kanzaki = Yuuma Kuga Both protagonists are someone special
- Burst = Invasion
- Gates (but WT is dimensional)
- Malignant = Neighbor (sorta)
- Diver = Border Agent
Kuga (WT) and Ibiki (Chaos Dragon) looks very similar. However they act as opposites, their goal is pretty much the same.
Also, both anime's start off as light-Cute-Funny anime's. However, early on through the anime it begins to turn 'Dark'. Instead of your happy-cute-fun Anime, we have a hint that the anime isn't exactly all Fun & Games, and we begin to see the true colors of World Trigger.
Both MC's seek for revenge, for a fallen loved one.
Both of them are similar because in both animes there are monsters who came into the human's world and start attacking.
In both of them the humanity strikes back and defends itself.
In both of them there's something unnatural which can defeat the monsters (in world trigger it's Trion, in Black Bullet it's the cursed children).
Both series have creatures who come from another dimension that terrorizes the human race. Both series have a group of individuals who come to defend the people from these monsters. Both Main characters are very gifted and powerful however they are laid back and lazy, only fighting when it is necessary. Both Narratives have Action, school, supernatrual, comedy, and Fantasy genre components.
These two are about teenagers that have some kind of power/weappons to defeat a huge crisis in the world, caused by some kind of monsters. For power-up they say a similar quote, "trigger on"(World Trigger) and "Hundred-on"(Hundred).
