Synopsis

On a quiet and peaceful day, the skies split open and extradimensional beings, designated as the Unknown, launch a swift and brutal attack against humanity. To protect the future of the country, all of Japan's children are cryogenically frozen until the end of the war to keep them out of harm's way.

Several years pass, and humanity has established a foothold in a corner of Japan, which now serves as the frontline of the war. No longer facing humanity's extinction, the children are awakened from their slumber. It is then discovered that, while in cryogenesis, the children had developed Worlds, supernatural powers unique to each person. The six most powerful children are given command of the reclaimed cities, using their powers to defend the strongholds against the continuing invasion. Childhood friends Ichiya Suzaku and Canaria Utara lead Tokyo, siblings Kasumi and Asuha Chigusa manage Chiba, and Maihime Tenkawa and Hotaru Rindou oversee Kanagawa.

Over time, the almost routine attacks from the Unknown and the clashing personalities of the city heads and subheads cultivate petty rivalries, leading to constant arguments between the three cities. With the Unknown suddenly increasing the pressure of their attacks, the three cities' leaders must learn how to work together or risk losing the last line of defense against humanity's extinction.

Now, Qualidae Code is an anime I liked a lot and many people have mixed or negative feelings about. It is probably due to expectations.
The anime series has a simple enough plot: youngsters that were kept in cryo-sleep had woken up with powers referred as “world” in them, and, are fighting against invading aliens from an alternate dimension. The question is, is this a rightful fight. We have seen many SF anime, manga, and TV series based on the concept and at times Qualidae Code resembled the film Island a lot in the first few episodes – at least for me. The quality of animation ...

Mixed Feelings
Story was confusing, and really dumb. 3/10. Had me confused, then help me realize and then the things that enemy done in the end got me confused again.

Animation changed from bad to worse at times 4/10

Op and ed was good 6/10

Characters 5/10 saving point is chibura siblings especially kasumi.

Ichika delusional hero was cringe, annoying and beyond stupid and boring i was happy every second he wasnt on screen.
His childhood friend/crush Canaria was typical airhead who was useless most of time unless she is singing and giving them strenght using her powers (her song was really nice i enjoyed it).
Chibura siblings Kasumi was typical cool badass ...

Welcome to Disappointment and Missed Opportunities, the anime. I was going to try to be unbiased with this review, but fuck it. [Possible spoilers ahead]

I really wanted to love this one, I did. And now I'm left frustrated with what could've and should've been. This anime pissed me off so bad that it actually drove me to write a review expressing my immeasurable disgust with how this series was handled. I've never given a review before by the way. That's just how bad this one bothered me.

So anywho, I found out about this one through the doujinshi by Sekiya Asami (don't judge me), looked up ...
