Crazy girl forces sarcastic guy to join her wacky squad of magical girls. Genre hopping adventures ensue.

Both involve a group of students including a tough female who solves other students' problems and fights delinquents. However in SKET Dance the group is a club and Medaka Box is about the Student Council.

Both have a similar feel and art style. Both have a leading female character who is omnipotent.

Similarities: Both involve female leads who were elected to be student council presidents in such difficult situations. Both involves male leads who serve as their protector and with romantic feelings on the sides. Both female leads are willing to deal with problems that involves the welfare of the students. Both female leads are not to be trifle with. Dissimilarities: In Kaicho Wa Maidsama: - The female lead is reluctant to be near the male lead -The female lead is mainly concern about the welfare of the female students (at first), since their school is once an all boys high school turned coed. -The student council already has its own VP, Secretary, treasures and other  read more

Look-alike female lead, Gainax feel, and less ecchi

Helping people is always a nice feeling and in both of these series, it's one of the themes. Medaka Box and Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi both have a main female protagonist who although is violent always cares for her friends and willing to help others. Both series has the theme of a club that helps out others but along the way faces hardship and struggles. Both series has a lot of comedy, drama, and action later on in the series.

Both female lead presidents drag the male MC into the student council and both presidents have high approval rates and suggestion boxes(more of a main theme in medeka box),Both also don't seem to follow a plot but in Medeka box it somewhat gains one near the end,and both are comedies.

Similarities: Sarcastic, Nihilistic Philosophies for humorous purposes, Parodies that breaks the 4th wall, High detailed animation during action scenes, Some costumers are usually a plot device to the story. Differences: Themes, settings and fanservice.

Both of these Anime are about student councils run by girls with at least one member selected through popular vote. They also are humor based and slice of life.

+ Both has a nearly perfect model student which no one can take down/do bad things for them...because those model students can handle hardships like nothing... + Every episode tries to glorify these model students like heroes of some sort... + Both are set in a highschool full of delinquents... + Both has decent artstyle, comedy style....except there is always salty haters.. + Both MC's [Sakamoto & Medaka ] somehow manages to help supporting characters/antagonists in each episode and are essentially "converted" to befriend them... - Medaka is like superior version of equality officer, and Sakamoto is just lone guy who helps others for no reason = good guys... - Medaka  read more

Both of these two keep a strong focus on geniuses, as well as the normals surrounding them, and they both portray the hardcomings of both types dealing with the other. Sakurasou has light drama, while Medaka Box has special abilities and shounen battles.

Same studio and art. Also refrences of Gurren Lagann mentioned

School setting with a very strong hierarchy and frequent battles? Plenty of fanservice and action? Characters screaming at the top of their lungs most of the time? You've got them all in these two anime.

Basically the same theme with high schoolers fighting on school ground except Busou Shoujo has a setting where the main character has to face off against female opponents, befriending them as he moves on.

-Godly power of protagonist -Mild nudity -Serious battle -Enemies are always in a group -Protagonist's partner wants to exceed her

At first, looks like a normal school with normal students. However, there are people with powers and they eventually start battling and stuff. Medaka Box revolves around Student Council, Inou Battle revolves around club life.
report Recommended by Littaylor
Eccentric group of friends who go off and cause an almost unbelievable amount of trouble as the student council. It contains similar humor, but a lot more plot.
report Recommended by Mythical_Truth
both protagonist's ambitions are inspired by the student council presidents(amelie for iruma. medaka for zenichi) and both are centered around school clubs, and there are often fights between clubs etc. both have inequalities between students (like abnormals being gifted with extra abilities and have higher status, and higher ranked demons over lower ranked demons). and they voting battles between clubs and voting to see who gets to be the main student council etc.

student council makes up the main cast, over-the-top presentation of ordinary school scenarios and strongly developed characters. medaka box focuses less on mind games and misunderstandings, and more on solving oddly specific conflicts episode-to-episode. both are similar in tone, setting and sense of humor, but they most notably share a bittersweet but ultimately compassionate outlook on life.

Both contain supernatural elements that focus around a school. Both anime's start with full on comedy but then develop into something much bigger.

similarities - cool and yet cute female character who have talent for fighting✓ - male MC with special ability✓ - organization who manage people with super power✓ - school setting ✓ - awesome fight scenes ✓ - Both animes has two season✓ If you enjoy watching female fighters kick villains asses. You're gonna like these two shows. enjoy!

I can't help but think of Tokuchi Toua when I think of Medaka Kurokami. The thrill of both shows comes not from the possibility of the characters failing, but rather, knowing they will succeed and waiting to see how they come out on top

If you like the feel of a slice of life anime but, near the end things get serious. Then these are for you. They are both a easy watch and they can be watched [ and if you are really determined you can watch the second season of medaka box] YES THEY BOTH HAVE DUBS! enjoy crying....IM MEAN LAUGHING

Despite the two main characters are polar opposites, the two childhood friends, Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, and Oota, are nearly identical, both following and taking care of the main characters and their ideals. Although Zenkichi is somewhat more excitable and cynical than Oota, they both share being tall, blonde, and their undying loyalty, and protectiveness of the main characters. And, the icing on the cake, both Zenkichi and Oota share the same English voice actor. Plus both anime are in a school setting with lots of colourful side characters.

Both are comedies setted at school where group of people (club/student council) full of people each weird in it´s own way helps other students. Both have perverted moments but Medaka Box has more action.

What is it like to live with ultimate power, as a monster among humans, working for them in the form of a human while able to dish out unimaginable violence when necessary? What do you do when the people around you realize you're just a monster, through and through?

Both series takes place at a school setting with students with special gifts and super powers. Of course, there's also the school idol that is literally almost perfect in everyone's eyes in both anime(s). Both of these anime series contain a lot of comedy and drama. Although Medaka Box lacks romance as of now, there are hints of flirtation from the cast.

Second season of Masou Shoujo Meduka Meguca begins after Walpurgis Yoru in the realm where Meduca no longer exists. Her incarnation Kurokami Medaka isn't so pathetic as her origin but they two share the same goal: to help every ningen around. Protagonists in both MSMM and MB have Ikari Shinji-like teammate, who is in love with them.

Well, in a few ways I see some similarities between these two series. Both Medaka Box and Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. takes place in a school life setting. The main female protagonist in both series has a tough personality, is independent, and commands attention to herself and to others. Both series' main male protagonist on the other hand seems to be aloof and wonders about every day life as if it's just a typical day, every day. There is comedy, drama, and hints of romance here and there. There's also some conflicts between the school members with others. More importantly though..in both series, there  read more

Both series are written by Nisio Isin. However, the stories are quite different as well as the art style. In Medaka Box, the story revolves primarily around the antics of a student council who uses a suggestion box to get suggestions from the student body on how to improve the school, or simply to get help with things they couldn't accomplish/resolve themselves. The art resembles your typical anime style drawing (big eyes, abnormal hair colors, flashy uniforms, etc.). Conversely, in Bakemonogatari the story is heavily based on dialogue and is narrated by its male protagonist; it focuses on several females to whom which he helps  read more

Both series involves a student council/club with a group of students at school. The two anime(s) also involves comedy, drama, and inklings of romance.

In both series, there is an idealistic young female protagonist who always tries to do what she believes is right, often with no regard to the consequences. Both anime feature a school organization that goes around helping people with whatever they need. Both have some ecchi elements, although it's much lighter in Rinne than in Medaka Box. Finally, both series have supernatural themes, though it very dfferent ways with Rinne being sci-fi and Medaka being some sort of magic.

A wide variety of characters with a wide variety of abilities 'battling' for high stakes. Comedy is prevalent in both but the human cruelty is what makes them seem so similar.

Both of these anime are set in school, and the plot revolves around student councils. In both we have a bunch of funny charcters working there together. And I simply find both of them very amusing and nice, funny series. Yeah, I kind of think the sense of humor is similiar in both of them, and it's the one I, personally, like.

Same "ridiculous powers" -setting, but with students. The main character is absurdly strong and can settle things by battles.
