Preliminary (17/22 eps)
What can I say. Season 1 was a master piece and season 2 was good, but season 3 fell off. the main character Fushi doesn't grow at all in my opinion and still makes the same mistakes and even goes back compared to the end of season 2. The new main lead Mizuha is one of the most flawed characters who I have the displeasure to get to know in ages. The is irresponsible and stupid beyond her years and is a pure disruption to Fushi. The lessions that the season wanted to convey where poorly done. Overall because of Season one I will still ...

Ultra Maniac is a charming magical-romance anime that blends comedy, friendship, and a bit of everyday school life. The story follows Nina, a clumsy witch whose magic rarely works the way she expects, which leads to many funny and chaotic moments. Her friendship with Ayu becomes the heart of the series, creating warm and genuine interactions that make the story feel light and comforting.

The colorful art style and energetic tone match the magical theme well. The characters are expressive and memorable, and their personalities help keep the episodes entertaining. The humor mostly comes from Nina’s unpredictable spells, which often turn simple situations into amusing disasters.

LOVE the pace of this unique show. I really am tired of stories that pretty much end shortly after the couple finally gets together after running through a gauntlet of close calls and misunderstandings. Yes, the journey to being a couple is fun, but there’s so much more story to tell, and this show tells it!

Shizuka and Akita’s mutual attraction and respect for each other is very very cute and heartwarming! Every step they take closer to each other is so satisfying, and I hope it continues to be that way as the show progresses.

The best part so far is the adult-y themes are ...

Trauma bait, but it's actually wholesome?

Takopi's Original Sin is a sweet little anime, a breath of fresh air in the middle of the seasonal dryness that shows a ton of heavy themes like bullying, divorce, bad parenting, and the harshness of life. It’s wrapped with beautiful visuals that reminded me a lot of Look Back, which really set the standard for that dramatic and expressive style of animation. A big plus point!!

The core message is solid, but I don’t like how it kind of shoves what’s going on right in your face and keeps spamming it. A lot of the tragedies happen really fast, which ...

Mob Psycho 100 is not just another anime about power. At first glance it looks funny, weird, even childish because of the art style. But if you stay with it, you realize it is something much deeper. The story follows Shigeo Kageyama, a quiet boy people call “Mob.” He has overwhelming psychic powers, but the real battle of his life is not against spirits or enemies. It is against his own emotions.

What makes this anime special is its honesty. Mob is not trying to become the strongest person in the world. He just wants to become a better human being. He joins the body improvement ...

Roll over and die makes me want to roll over and die. It's not really that bad, but that grabbed your attention didn't it? Roll over and die started as an alright premise that could have been a solid 7/10 but it drops off so quickly with the main character and her love interest. Flum and milkit's whole relationship is literally just "master...", "milkit...", "master..." before someone comes in to break it up.

Without getting into spoilers this anime has very little to offer unless some low tier yuri is all that you're looking for. Animation isn't bad but isn't great, the world is a pretty ...

Super short in-between episode, watched it after finishing the OVA but oh well. Not anything amazing compared to the full OVA although there is some nice fan-service. It's more of a MV vehicle really, there's so many lol. You can never go wrong with 2000s Komugi so I did like it, it's just not incredible on its' own.

Some fun new outfits, really liked Komugi's black one it's a cool mix up from her whites and pinks. The Biscuit-tan reference was great, and there are a couple good jokes too. The art is just fine and the songs are kind of hit or miss (I ...

I'm giving "The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague" a "very good" but! there are some things i want to say.
First and for most, the concept of this anime, is actually REALY cool, i enjoy it, it's unique.
I enjoy, that his gimmick, is used as much as it is, i like that his emotions play a very big part in how his "power" is used.
This was genuinely a great watch, but that's sadly where it ends, i know i'm giving this an 8, and if you watch it you'll see why i did.
It's a lovely anime, that's easy going, and mainly no blueballing ...

Studio bind delivers another beautifully animated, peaceful anime.

A cute girls doing cute things anime, the anime follows young teen Ruri as she dives into her affinity for pretty gems. She’s aided by Nagi Arato, a college mineralogy student and patient mentor. Together with their friends, they learn and teach about different gems, how to find them, and why it is important to follow your passions.

A relaxed affair, Ruri Rocks is best enjoyed over lunch on a sunny afternoon. It is healing by nature, the sound design is easy on the ears, and the animation is spectacular. After my decade plus of watching anime, it ...

Plot: 7/10 because it really has potential, especially in terms of world-building and character development (I mean all the characters, not just the MC). The ending feels kind of rushed and is jam-packed with major plot twists that could’ve been slowly introduced in earlier episodes. Instead, the show spends 11 episodes focusing on everyone trying to boost the MC’s self-confidence because it’s so low that even he can’t fix it on his own.

Animation: 4/10. Most of the time it feels like I’m watching slides or a PowerPoint presentation—especially during Yui’s fight scenes and anything that requires more movement like running, punching, kicking, hacking, and slashing. ...

Wasted potential. Complete trash, and it almost feels intentional. I genuinely do not recommend watching this. What makes it worse is that the first two episodes were actually strong enough to create real hope. They had momentum, atmosphere, and just enough intrigue to make it seem like this would become something memorable. Instead, the show completely collapses right after that. It does not slowly decline. It does not stumble and recover. It just falls off a cliff and never gets back up.

This is actually my first review on MAL, which should say a lot by itself. I normally do not feel strongly enough to write ...

UK it, Ik it, its absolute cinema. From the animation, the plot, the twists, the cliffhangers, everything about it is literally a 1000000/10. This is easily one of my favorite shows ever and I even based my profile on it because that's how much I like it. The story is a complete roller coaster ngl. Every episode feels intense and something crazy is always happening, and the way the plot keeps evolving is just insane.

What I really love is how unique the show feels compared to most anime. It doesn’t follow the typical predictable formula and the writing keeps you hooked the whole time. The ...

Proper isekai 6.5/10

-A standard protagonist who consciously reacts to a fantasy world.
--The Protagonist actively seeks to experience new things in another world, which contrasts his previously mundane lifestyle on Earth. This desire is what leads the pacing of his slice-of-life story.
---The Protagonist goes on mini-adventures often
----Good Fantasy MUSIC, sometimes very immersive
-----Nice Fantasy elements (although somewhat generic, they aren't shallow and are sometimes 'unique'.)
------Proper cast of side characters (no harem on the horizon and no cardboard NPCs)

Among isekai anime, this is a proper show. Among anime in general, it's easy to call this generic 'slop.' But I don't think it's trash, because it ...

Before writing the review, I'll start by saying that I've seen the first three seasons of Pretty Derby, so I know what I expected in terms of the story, but not the execution. Let me explain.
The movie is a "shortened" version of what happens in the other seasons: the umas running, having fun running, and aiming to be the strongest (naturally with different protagonists and supporting characters).
The problem, however, is that I lied about one thing: the movie no longer focuses on the goals I listed above. Instead, the whole thing is transformed into a shonen drama devoid of color, music, or any kind of ...

In the visual novel and the manga, there is a girl who enjoys her sexuality and experiences of an orgasm using sex toys and her imagination. Then, we are introduced to a young upstart living off of his family and recent transfer student Junnosuke, whose out to prove once and for all, that reddit makes everything miserable.

Nukitashi the Animation, has all of the plot structure of a green bunny or other horribly written but, some what passable sex scenes where the individual male protagonist is a quiet loser whose only problem is having hundreds of horny young women throwing themselves at him.

It’s the first and only anime I have decided to consciously drop.
I am a romance anime connoisseur and the story that is being displayed is absolute hot garbage.
The characters are edgy and annoying most of the times, the main character listens to everyone but himself and is way too gullible and last but definitely not least THERE IS NO ACTUAL ROMANCE only trashy fan service with no smooth escalation of the relationship of the main pair.
One more thing to note is that the dub might actually be the worst out there.
I would completely avoid it don’t waste your time and as always ...

Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst season 2 was a disappointing drop off from the previous season. They ended up turning the series into a borderline hentai because the plot was too boring.

The first season didn’t have much but at least had an okay plot and used its ecchi genre well enough. This season didn’t. Like i said they turned it into borderline hentai, and the plot was all over the place. I had no clue what was happening and had to anchor myself at the end of all the action. Leaving me confused until the very end of battles.

I don’t have much else to ...

If fast food was an anime, it would be this one. Solo Leveling is a simple anime that’s easy to consume. It comes with its strengths, but much more weaknesses in my opinion.

The Strengths: Like I just said, this anime is super easy to consume because of it’s simplicity, I finished this particular season and even started the next in a matter of a few days. This anime is genuinely entertaining, there’s no denying that, the animation is beautiful and fluid, the opening is great, and Jin-Woo definitely has lots of “aura”. Any young man like me will probably enjoy this anime simply for ...

I usually don’t do this — I normally finish a season before writing a review — but I just watched episodes 7 and 8 on a wave of emotion, and wow, this anime is amazing. First of all, the production itself is top-notch: the atmosphere is immersive, the visuals are gorgeous, and the attention to detail is impressive. I also have to give a special shoutout to the opening — it’s a solid 10/10, way better than Idol.

As for the story, I’ve watched the anime with a lot of interest since season 1, and I liked seasons 1 and 2 too. But season 3 is ...

this is my favorite song not only because the beat’s good but the meaning of all the lyrics’s very important to me, the animation in the music video also really reflects what the lyrics’re trying to convey, i don't care about other people's opinions, but for me, this is very special

what actually makes me valuable? do i have to become what they want? or do i have my own worth that i haven't found yet? this song feels like a hug for people who think they're just ordinary, ado’s basically saying it's okay if you haven't found your value yet because the process of searching ...

As someone who did NOT read the source material, this show was honestly amazing. Didn’t expect this to be as good as it was, but a few episodes in it had really grown on me, and halfway through the season I was hooked! It pulled me in and kept me interested.

Princess athanasia’s character feels very human in her desire for family and to not be alone. Watching her grow up through the season was a treat! I like that she isn’t overly extending herself to be hyper virtuous (like with Jennette), just that she pretty much just wants to be with her dad. The character ...

To begin with, the animation and the overall art are extremely pretty! The action/fight scenes were fluid and the movements of the characters felt really natural. The blending of 2D and 3D elements was also done well.
The voice acting was extremely well done, especially Scarlet's voice actor. Her emotions were perfectly captured.
The soundtrack was also pretty good, and fitted with the enviroments.

Now, as for the plot, while the premise might look pretty eh, it was executed very well! The characters, might seem a little "robotic" at first, they get some decent development as the story progresses. The dynamic between Scarlet and Hijiri was ...

I write this small review to not argue or try to prove( for that I need spoilers and I want everyone to see this review) - I write it to warn people.

This anime or rather the story of anime had great potential. Which is wasted because author lacks skill and he clearly messed the story. So everyone, who is hooked by political topics and suspence around it, if you understand basics of logic and how society work, especcially fuedal one, you will be dissapointed.

The Saint, The Snake, and the soft sigh of boredom

There is a saying: "When the student is ready, the master will appear." In The Holy Grail of Eris, we meet Constance Grail—a young noblewoman from a family so legendary for their honesty that they seem woefully out of place in a world of political vipers. When a scheming acquaintance frames her for theft to ruin her reputation and steal her fiancé, Constance is utterly outmatched.
Enter the ghost of Scarlet Castiell. As one of the most duplicitous "snakes" to ever grace the court, Scarlet possesses Constance’s body, using her fearsome charisma and razor-sharp observation to expose ...

Journey Through Madhouse Episode #15: A tale of revenge, ninjas, and a treasure hunt, which doesn't aim to be an action anime but rather a historical drama.

The revenge and ninja aspects are somewhat sidelined. The true message of the work seeks to represent Japan's vision regarding opening its borders. The story explores the dilemma that if Japanese protectionism is overthrown, they risk losing their identity. The film represents this, in a rather strange way, in a fight between ninjas and cowboys. The anime aims to reflect the doubts and concerns of Japan at that time, which is why it has its characters travel through Russia ...

Villainess level 99 can best be described with two words: Horrendous CGI Horses and Otome Villainess Slop. And honestly that’s all I can say, its slop anime that’s meant to pad out a season with series that takes a fairly simple concept and just animates it as it is. The anime doesn’t tell a unique or well made story or puts extra love into the action or animation department; its overly just inoffensive. Watching this is never felt like I was actively wasting my time nor being punished from it, its was kind of just helping me pass it.

The premise fallows a person ...

Chat, It has come to my attention that the hate towards the Netflix adaption may have been warranted. Having just finished ghost In the shell stand alone complex GIG 1, and theres no other way to expressed it then the fact that they simple cooked. The fatal flaw with a lot of slower detective style grand mystery shows is that they often drop the ball with either pacing too slow or leaving too weak of a breadcrumb trail. Okay, I was really giving this show the benefit of the doubt. People said that it wouldn't be like other fantasy shows and to be honest, the first trailer made it seem like this could be interesting considering that it wants to delve into horror and the MC having to use cursed weapons would easily work for that genre (as you can imagine that this could have an effect on her psyche). But nothing of that actually happens. At the end, it's just your standard relatively low quality fantasy show that uses the same old tropes that you've seen 100 times before. Just with the ...

I’m at episode 8 and, so far, it’s refreshing. It’s a romance that isn't necessarily unpredictable or free of clichés, but it never pretended to be, and it doesn't need to be. ( small EPISODE 1 SPOIL in this review)

The MC is a 'cute, weird, yet normal' extroverted girl, and her love interest is a simple, quiet, smart boy. However, that’s not all they are; they aren't one-dimensional, and I appreciate that.

(SPOILER for Ep. 1): For example, the MC loves her friends, but she mentions that social time can be tiring. That’s relatable. Usually, popular characters never seem to need alone time, but in ...

I was expecting something different, but I found something quite generic.

At the time of its release, I watched a few episodes (I don't remember exactly how many) mostly because of the hype surrounding Sword Art Online. However, since I didn't like the premise very much and realized there was practically no focus on the characters we already knew from the main series, I ended up dropping this spin-off quickly. Recently, I decided to give it another chance and watch it all more calmly, thinking that maybe my opinion could change over time. Unfortunately, the result was more or less what I expected: I found it ...

I remember being drawn by the first episodes. The show had 'Samurai Champloo' vibes, but alas, they faded quite fast, just as my interest in continuing watching the series.

It's an episodic anime. There's no cognitive story, only episodes that may or may not relate to the previous ones, and have recurring characters that you didn't really get to know and most likely have forgotten about them some episodes in. The theme itself is very interesting to me personally, as I haven't seen that many (if any) about the Edo period (apart from the aforementioned Samurai Champloo), but it doesn't really go into details; it only ...

As the season enters its last third, Fate/strange Fake is shaping up to be a pretty damn good show. While its reception has generally been indicative of this, it does have the potential to be somewhat divisive, and with good reason. It’s not a show for everyone, and yet its reach has been surprisingly wide, which, in my opinion, speaks of its qualities. While the review will be somewhat preliminary, I think I’ve seen enough to get a general impression of the kind of adaptation this anime attempts to be.

The reason Strange Fake succeeds as a story, especially a Fate story, isn’t because ...

I really liked it and it's my favorite anime movie of all time. The story is somewhat very deep and it goes to show you, you can just be yourself for people to love you.

The scene where she cried is beautifully made and really got me, and when they made up to each other is just cute. And maybe their friends also got into an relationship, who knows. To be honest i'm really hoping for a second movie, tho it will never come.

This is your average another low effort show which is totally a trash in terms of characters story, enjoyment.

It's good for situations where you want to rest your heart and be a little bit bored & enjoy the atmosphere.

Cons
- There is literally nothing new or exciting about his anime. It should be treated according to its age. It's a worse version of Fushigi Yuugi.

Mato Seihei no Slave Season 2 is honestly the same as season 1 with nothing new. The fights are still not serious and the story nothing special The anime clearly exists mainly to attract people who enjoy ecchi content.

I watched this rom-com anime between 15 and 23 February 2026. Even though this is a Shōjo anime, I still liked it as a man because of the gaming theme. At the beginning it reminded me a little of SLF anime, but the story is actually very different. Where SLF focuses more on gaming, this anime focuses more on romance and slice-of-life drama.

**Score: 8/10**

Time-loop stories often rely on repetition as their main gimmick, but 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! avoids that trap by making each past life meaningful to the protagonist’s decisions in the present. Instead of resetting the story for drama, the anime builds its narrative around experience, strategy, and character dynamics.

The strongest element of the show is undoubtedly Arnold Hein. While many series rely on the typical “cold prince” archetype, Arnold stands out because of how composed and calculating he is. His presence adds tension to almost every scene, especially given the knowledge that he was ...

A mediocre spin-off consisting mostly of unfunny jokes, fan service, and yuri bait. At the time of writing this only three of the four episodes have aired and I have not read the manga. For the sake of brevity I'm going to refer to Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sankusen Desu! as 'MLLSD' from now on.

The central problem with MLLSD is that it attempts to adapt a 4-panel manga into 20 minute episodes. This is something that is hard to do well as a show can run the risk of feeling both stretched out and unfocused. MLLSD suffers from both of these ...

Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu, or simply Egate, is an anime with a lot to like and is the type of show that, in theory, would be right up my alley. However, to my great surprise, it ended up being a forgettable experience that never really drew me in. While the anime is fantastically produced, well-paced, and depicts a reasonably believable picture of a mangaka's life, the comedy elements fall flat, and I struggled to like many of the characters. I can see why people like this, but it’s not for me.

It’s disappointing to see so many negative reviews for Pluto on MAL. This isn’t an anime meant for viewers looking for fast-paced action or constant spectacle. Instead, it takes a thoughtful, intellectual approach, exploring themes like humanity, morality, grief, and the nature of consciousness. Much of its strength lies in its slow, reflective storytelling and emotionally layered characters. Many casual viewers seem to have missed that deeper layer. In a time when audiences often prefer light, escapist entertainment, Pluto stands out for daring to slow down and ask bigger philosophical questions. Personally, I loved the anime—the characters were compelling, and the art style perfectly complemented ...

For me, this was the weakest season of Baki. I don’t enjoy the aspect where characters visualize being hit by their opponent and then praising them afterward for how good they are. I know it’s one of the quirks of Baki’s universe, but it felt overused this time.
As for the main challenge this season—the samurai—I don’t think he was entertaining enough to carry an entire season. He was constantly praised and hyped up almost on par with the Ogre. The roster of fights and their overall weight also felt kind of lame to me (with the exception of one fight).

As an anime observer, I'm usually not the type of person who likes to post a review on a whim. But this time, there are just too many reasons for me to do so.

Kingdom Season 6 (first cour), similar to all the seasons thus far, is fraught with many elements that makes mockery to the best of Japanese animes: regular drawing flops, over-the-top character design, cringy character reactions, laughable low-budget special effects, cheap comedies, cheesy/unnatural turn of events, not to mention the little boys' "impressionable lines" they think can impress girls.

Every female character in this show serves no other purpose besides being tsundere or moe characters. It's really just a harem plot where two guys play scientist on the second floor of a TV store. I have to admit, for much of the first episode it seemed like this might be a case of an anime having a mediocre name but be good. However, at the end of episode 1 it fell off a cliff.

The anime actually has better animation than I expected. The characters had distinct personalities. The world looked like it could be fun.
