Not really familiar with the staff(except the composer), but it seems fine, I guess. I am just a bit concerned with the animation studio.

This actually sold me out due to the staff being actually competent enough. Hope it does deliver though.

I was really looking forward to this and hoping and praying that the animation would be different to this:

This was a teaser released last year for it. I'm just hoping that they changed their mind and decided not to make it fully 3DCG.

it wasnt even released last year, its a PV done a long time ago for the manga. dunno why the fuck the person who uploaded it put it as a official PV of the anime outside of baiting people for views

also from the 2 visual they released a while back it doesnt look like its going to be cg

With B and Devilman, Netflix is really pushing out more niche titles that are rarely found in anime these days. Never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad that Netflix is funding anime like these.

Hmmm
The story of this boy, who has become one with a demonic weapon and is drawn into a cruel fate in which he must face countless battles, can be seen as either the story of "a beautiful weapon and an ugly person" or of "the cruelty of weapons and the beauty of humans." This is a completely new world of comic noir.

it's surprisingly intriguing, gonna get my hopes up for its philosophy
though it's possibly CGI, gonna get my hopes down for its animation quality

This exactly what I said on the B anime news posted recently.

I got real excited for a second because I thought the title was "Sword Gal". I wanted to see a zany popcorn show about a badass woman travelling around as a vagabond with a sword. ;-;

Instead its more seinen stuff with demonic weapons. Been there, done that. To be fair, I may still try it out, but this is about as far from my wheelhouse as you can get. :/

Man i really got to praise netflex for funding so much anime, alot of the stuff on the slate seems like stuff from a time of anime past that you dont see much anymore, especially B which just looks straight out of the early to mid 00's with the likes of ergo proxy gits and so on

The studio hasn't done much, but I'm interested simply because the Mangaka himself will be doing the series composition.
