Like the R Season, SailorStars is divided into two arcs:

The first arc (also filler) solves some conflicts from the SuperS season, and also sees the return of the Outer Senshi, Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru (now reborn as a child).

The second arc is the actual plot from the manga. Usagi bids farewell to Mamoru, who is going to America to study abroad. In his place comes the Three Lights, an idol trio consisting of three boys, Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten. The new enemy is Galaxia, a woman who desires to rule the entire galaxy by collecting the Star Seeds of humans. Three new Senshi appear, the Sailor Starlights, who also intend to stop Galaxia without Sailormoon's help.

Please keep in mind that a 5/10 equals average. Or in other words I overall enjoyed this show but am unlikely to revisit it.

By this point the franchise has become tired and too formulaic. Usagi has failed to grow much over the course of the series, while her friends are forever stuck in a loop of fake development that never remotely pushes them forward. Characters who once endeared now frustrate and annoy. For instance, what does it matter if Minako tries to become a pop star since this doesn't show us anything particularly new about her nor will it be followed up read more

If your in the mood for some more Sailor Moon adventures, I would highly suggest you watch this last season of the wonderful, romantic, comedy of Sailor Moon.

First of all, let me tell you, I can agree on why Sailor Moon Sailor Stars wasn't licensed for the american dub version. If you watch this series, you will find out why. But enough with that matter, let me tell you what I thought of this amazing season of Sailor Moon.

I personally thought the story deserved higher that a 6, at that matter. The story was actually well thought out and planned detail to detail. read more

Despite being considered by some fans and even Naoko herself as the most far fetched from the manga plotline. This is considered one of the most loved and favorited of the seasons of SM compared with the loved classic season.

New Scouts- Theres new scouts from another galaxy have their own princess, and the leader provides harships for Serena(Usagi)Their in a band and all around cool.

Last season and never even dubbed- This season may be still new news to some people who just watched and familiar with the dub.

A break from Mini Moon- Even though she is a importent character she gets a read more

(This review proceeds from Sailor Moon, so start from the beginning if you haven’t already!)

After my lengthy trip reviewing the chronological progression of the original Sailor Moon show we arrive at the last season: Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. As a finale to the entire series, it does its job well to bring a good climax and ending to resolve every aspect that the show presented to us thus far. Was it worth the many many hours to get to it?

After Super S, the first bundle of episodes in Sailor Stars deals with completely resolving conflicts with a good returning villain from the previous arc, and read more

Anime: DokiDoki! Precure
You can REALLY see the influence of Sailor Moon and of Sailor Stars. Especially in the plot of having a rivalry of "other world" Senshi/Cure and Earth Senshi/Cures as well as the fact we having someone singing to summon a princess, and that princess is young/a baby (with heart odongo hairstyles too!). Also the enemies are a human looking group (Sailor Moon kept this for all seasons) who bicker amongst themselves in their own bar (SuperS reference?). The enemies are all people with corrupt hearts (star seeds/dream mirrors/etc.) which are then purified back to being human.

Anime: Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu.
Both anime have male characters that transform into magical girls. Twintails is more of a sci-fi magical girl show while Sailor Stars is more of a "magic" mahou shoujo. They both have a "monster of the week" feel.

Anime: Shoujo Kakumei Utena
Mysterious females! Androgynous characters! Shirtless guys! Repeated stock footage!

Anime: Kämpfer
Both have a male or groups of males turning into the opposite gender in order to fight. If you like gender swapping those two are for you!

Anime: Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card
The endings to great Mahou Shoujo sagas. Amazing show and movie. They were produced around the same area and the focus is on love! What more can you ask for?
