Mixed Feelings
This review contains some minimal spoilers

There are two redeeming qualities to this season: Usagi and the ending.
Usagi, as always, is an awesome main character. Her kindness and empathy always brings the show a lot of joy and endearment. The ending is devastating and huge, and at the same time uplifting like the season 1 finale.

The reason I don’t like Sailor Stars is because it abandons any sort of character development for the Inner Senshi to focus on the Sailor Starlights. The girls really took the backburner in comparison to the starlights.

This review is biased and is more for personal use.

Although the first half of the season seems to drag on, the story begins to develop in the second half and barrels into an incredible season finale.

The first half is goofier, leaning more into the Monster-of-the-Week side. One by one, the characters are introduced as silly but good-hearted middle schoolers who begin to develop and close friendship with one another.

In the second half we see more depth, more sadness, and the Senshi team's devotion to each other. We also begin to see deeper character development and the great sound design comes into play. The season finale ...
