I felt entertained that last time I had a severe stomachache. That same day I just grabbed a tablet and re-watched Dot Hack Sign after taking medication, getting hydrated, etc.

I still can't believe See-Saw parted like Daft Punk, but you know music business, it's hard.

Higurashi is one of the series I watched during a 7 year period where I was mostly out of the anime community and wasn't sure if I wanted to continue watching anime. It helped keep me in the community and is close to my heart. It's not super highbrow by any means, but it's a very intriguing mystery series that's unique in how it manages to blend heartwarming friendships between kids in a rural town with suspense, horror, comedy, and mystery in equal measures. I've told people it's sort of like if Stephen King wrote a VN. It's not a perfect description, but it generally gets the idea across.
