this is a long shot, But has any one told you how spot on your Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is?

I also found that Akagami no Shirayuki-hime was overrated and can't understand why peoples like it... What a good reviews on it.

Read your Akagami review, and while I don't disagree with all of it, I can't help but feel a lot of the criticisms are even more prevalent in shows like Yona of the Dawn, Ouran Host Club, Skip Beat, etc, all of which got a pretty high rating from you. The cast of love interests in those shows are even less realistic and more wish-fulfillment-y. Let's be honest, in real life Hak Son, Tamaki, Haru, etc would not exactly be pining after Yona, Haruhi, Kyouko, etc.

Many have already pointed this out but I'll join the fun! cause Oh men your review about Akagami no Shirayuki was a bullseye! couldn't have said it better myself! I'm glad I'm not the only one, I mean kill me If i'm being so rude but the anime is just too bland bleh. there are no thrills! no developments! whatsoever and I just don't get whats the fuss about Shirayuki's red hair? was there even an explanation why she had that red hair? why was she so special? why is she so damn perfect? even a Disney princess movie is miles better than this one. now I feel like I'm just ranting. sorry.

Just read your review on Akagami no Shirayuki, and I have to tell you, you couldn't be more right. I just finished the first episode but man was is bad. I was also baffled as to why she just ran away from a perfect life. And the first episode was soo rushed. I mean we see how a prince A wants her then she leaves and later on falls in love with prince B who also falls in love with her, then he saves her from prince A and now they'll live happily in a castle. Nice.

Aside from the rush, the story itself just doesn't make sense like you mentioned in your review. Quite unfortunete.. since there aren't many shoujo anime comming out to begin with.

Shirayuki-hime review was on point ! i mean its like watching a disney films intead she is not even a princess, so its even worse, she is desire by everyone who meets her just beacuse of her hair? Da fuck also thanks for giving me a name for those princess like characters, is awesome when you learn something new "may sue" xDDDD

Absolutely agreed with the Shirayuki review. I gave the show the benefit of the doubt despite snoozing through the first 2 eps, hoping something would change and the plot would finally show up - alas at the end of episode 5 my patience ran out. Based on your words I can safely assume I won't be missing anything.

Decent OPM review. I'd recommend in the future though adding some more expounding. You had a lot of explaining of what happens in the show, just need some more of why it makes it good or what it could represent (the Mumen Rider section was a good example of this, albeit short). Also might try going into more detail on why people should watch it and will like it (or will dislike it, whichever way your future reviews spin); it's a review, so people are using these to get an idea of what the show will be like before watching them. Keep up the good writing!
