Oh yes, that scene made me shudder. I definitely gotta revisit the series, maybe through the manga or novel.

Well I hate to admit it but it reminds me of my own life and also serves as a powerful warning. Satou is a bad person but I can't help but relate to his struggles. Misaki and him together make me feel a bleak emotion, something like a void. The way the anime explores loneliness, human disconnection and hikikomori culture is nothing short of amazing.

The scenes where they go to the island and the finale are my favorites.
