[Retraction] Second Season of Shinshaku Sanada Juyushi Announced

Bandai Channel announced that the news of the second season of Sanada Juyushi was a mistake.

According to Bandai Channel email magazine, the second season of Shinshaku Sengoku Eiyuu Densetsu Sanada Juu Yuushi The Animation was announced to be aired from this October. The first season was aired in 2005. It was originally a 24 episode long series, but the first season was suspended in the middle. The staff of Legend of the Galactic Heroes produced the anime.

According to Toei Animation, a 3min introductory episode of Nogyo Musume! will be aired on Animax channel on October 7th.

Nogyo Musume is a collaboration project of Toei Animation and Mag Garden. A four panel manga has been serialized in Yahoo Comic.

Oh sorry, messed up a bit. Though it's not like Magic Bus is that much better...

Also I did not like Mononoke, though it's because I think "it"s fail" or anything, I just don't like that type of anime.

And yes I do think that Toei anime lately is fail. I just say Clannad movie.

The headline anime isn't a Toei title. It's from the creators of the Legend of the Galactic Heroes anime adaptation. They obviously didn't do that good of a job. Either that, or the wrong kind of people were watching it.

The Toei anime is Agriculture Girl, a random kids anime that gets shoved in with this because it is so insignificant that it doesn't need its own article.

Oh, and Mononoke would like to have a word with you about calling all Toei titles "fail"

Zetsuboushita... Modern anime industry has left me in despair. What choice do we have now, either fanservice no-brainers or 'ambitious' crap? Really, so many manga should be adapted. 20th Century Boys or Sanctuary, and they even dare to produce a sequel to cancelled show with no complete fansubs (so it's really bad).

This news is almost like a obituary.

Let me guess.... This is a really, really bad version of Legend of the Galactic Heroes, but set in feudal Japan instead of outer space.

The first season isn't even fully subbed, so I highly doubt I will be watching the second season, even if I get it from AniDB's random anime function.

Will check out the first season's ED for Kei Ogura, though.

Imo, bad time to have a waring period anime when Sengoku Basara is airing
