Yeah, take that RIAA and their equals bullshitting about how the internet is killing the physical mediums.

Kind of how record companies have bullshitted about them losing customers, despite increasing sales and profits every year.

wel BD are now starting to get cheap. i see some 9.99 movies at stores and such

But, aren't those films starring Steven Seagal?

That's good news.

For a long time now it seems all I've been hearing is doom and gloom concerning how the industry's doing. So it's really great to hear something positive.

Of course Blu-Ray wins. High Def. is food for our eyes. *Nom nom nom*

But seriously, I'm glad the anime industry is doing well.

wel BD are now starting to get cheap. i see some 9.99 movies at stores and such so i expect that as companies start to make back their money in the investment debacle when HD disks were also available, and as HD players and TVs continue to get cheaper, BD will overtake and quite possibly destroy DVDs the same way DVDs destroyed VHS. ah the irony.

as for the sales, this is good thing as it will encourage producers to invest in other medias and more obscure or unknown titles.

Finally, some good industry news. I am surprised Blu-ray is already outselling DVD, I thought it would take a lot longer. I guess in five years or so Blu-ray may well be the standard.

Always good news to see anime doing well. It's a shame though that Blu-ray discs cost so much more than DVDs in most places.

Nice avatar.

Anyways, great news.
