Kids Anime Movie Omae Umasoudana Announced

According to mi:te.jp, Miyanishi Tatsuya's picture book "Omae Umasoudana (You Are Umasou)" was announced to get an anime movie adaptation. It will be premiered this October.

Cast:
Mother: Harada Tomoyo (Tao in Genma Taisen)
Umasou: Kato Seishiro (official blog)
Heart: Yamaguchi Kappei
Baku: Bessho Tetsuya (Sakazaki Ryo)

Story:
A Tyrannosaurus "Heart" was raised by a herbivorous dinosaur. As he grew up, he was scared by other dinosaurs. One day, Heart meets a baby Ankylosaurus and he names the baby "Umasou (looks delicious)". Umasou started to be attached to Heart and a strange family love develops between the two.

The little pink one does kind of look like a Pokemon.

It does seem pretty cute though. If it's anything like The Land Before Time I might like it.

Ah, the title sounds awesome and the story sounds cute, so I'm willing to check this one out. ^^ There'll also be an TV series of it.

I liked Land Before Time so I might enjoy this, it's Land Before Time with a heavy dose of anime goodness.

Anyway, awww this looks adorabel! And I love The Land BeforeTime (the old movies, anyway...) so that's a plus.
Being the big 5 year old I am I will be watching this.

Not that it really matters, it might be nice for kids to watch, but I don't think it's going to have much appeal beyond that, but you never know...
