'Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Chоujin Shiso-hen' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, Second Promo

The official website of the Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Chоujin Shiso-hen television anime unveiled additional cast, staff, and the second promo on Friday. The television anime is set to premiere in July 2024 on a Sunday at 11:30 p.m. on CBC and TBS' 28 affiliated stations, followed by BS11.

Akira Satou (Ao Ashi) is helming the anime at Production I.G. Makoto Fukami (Tengoku Daimakyou) is handling the series composition, and Hirotaka Marufuji (Lupin III: Part 6) is designing the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is the music composer.

The anime adapts Yudetamago's action comedy manga, which was serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump from 1979 to 1987. The manga returned to the ShuuPlay News web magazine in 2011. Shueisha shipped the 84th volume on March 29.

Weekly Playboy serialized two sequel manga from 1997 to 2011. Shueisha released the second manga's 28th and final volume in December 2011.

That's a lot of characters. I never watched the anime from 4Kids, but I actually recognize a lot of these characters from commercials.
