'Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu' Reveals Additional Cast, First Promo
The official website of the Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today) television anime series revealed on Friday additional cast members and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 8 at 2:23 a.m. on MBS and TBS' Animeism programming block.

Kaoru Orizuka: Katsuyuki Konishi (Kimetsu no Yaiba)
Rio Nishina: M.A.O. (Mao Ichimichi) (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e)
Tenchou: Miyu Irino (Koe no Katachi)
Yume: Ayana Taketatsu (5-toubun no Hanayome)
Yume's Mother: Youko Hikasa (Domestic na Kanojo)
Yume's Grandmother: Tamie Kubota (Hanasaku Iroha)
Saku's Mother: Satomi Satou (Fruits Basket 1st Season)
Saku's Father: Jun Fukuyama (Isekai Ojisan)
Oshiro: Aoi Inase (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations)
Mei: Kotoe Taichi (Great Mazinger)
Katsumasa Yokomine (Seitokai Yakuindomo Movie 2 chief episode director) directs the anime with chief director Susumu Kudou (K) at GoHands. The studio is also handling the series composition while Tamazo Yanagi (Project Scard: Praeter no Kizu) is penning the script. Takayuki Uchida (Hand Shakers) is designing the characters.
The anime adapts Hitsuji Yamada's slice of life comedy manga which started as a web comic on the challenge section of comico in October 2017. The manga began serializing on the Suiyoubi no Sirius magazine in August 2018. Kodansha shipped the seventh volume on February 9.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in February 2021. The fifth volume went on sale in December 2022, with the sixth volume scheduled to be released on June 13.
