'Boku to Roboko' Unveils Main Cast, First Promo, Theme Song

The official website of the Boku to Roboko (Me & Roboco) television anime unveiled the main cast, first promo, and theme song on Sunday. The anime is set to debut on December 5.

Cast
Roboko: Shun Matsuo (Chocolate Planet)
Bondo Taira: Minami Tsuda (Yuru Yuri)
Gorilla Gachi: Ryoutarou Okiayu (Paripi Koumei)
Mostuo Kaneo: Shunsuke Takeuchi (Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi)
Madoka: Mao Ichimichi (Uchi no Shishou wa Shippo ga Nai)
Meico: Sae Hiratsuka
Bondo's Mother: Kotono Mitsuishi (Zombieland Saga)

Idol group Gang Parade is performing the theme song "lol," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Akitarou Daichi (Kamisama Hajimemashita) is directing the short anime at Gallop. Sayuri Ooba (Romantic Killer) is handling the series composition, and Yuuko Ebara (Yu☆Gi☆Oh! VRAINS animation director) is designing the characters.

The anime is based on Shuuhei Miyazaki's gag manga, which began in the Weekly Shounen Jump magazine in July 2020. Shueisha shipped the tenth volume on October 4, with the 11th volume scheduled to be released on December 2.

Viz Media licensed the manga digitally in English in July 2021. The fifth volume went on sale on October 25.

Usually, I would not be very interested in anime like this, prefer females and waifu anime

BUT I do like weird Japanese humor if I'm in the right mood for it. And that promo was fucking hilarious. So I might give this a chance =P

More like a very old fashioned adult sweem adult show that confused eccentricity with humor. Not because it's supposedly not funny. And because of too mature and unnatural voice.
