Multimedia Project 'Flaglia' Announces Anime

An official Twitter for the Flaglia multimedia project opened on Tuesday, announcing an anime titled Flaglia. The main staff, cast, and a visual (pictured) were also revealed.

Yoshikuni Douchin and Yoonhak are confirmed to join the cast.

Flaglia is a multimedia project combining anime and musical mediums. The main cast and others will perform the musical titled FLAGLIA THE MUSICAL ~Yukitekareishi Monogatari~ in February 2023 at Nippon Seinen-kan Hall.

The only idol anime I can think of with fluid 2d performances is Yuuichi Fukushima's Idolmaster series. How many more are there that fall in this category? Some others don't move much and the rest resort to CG.

Gaina isn't really a stable production house either.

For example, Komachi wrote the script and concept for a number of mobile games. Takahiro simultaneously wrote scripts for VN and original media projects, as well as his own manga.

I know it's present even in 10s. But it's far more common nowadays.

Well, the well-known author gives extra advertising and bigger confidence in the quality of the script.

They are popular screenwriters who have developed a brand writing style eventually. Not the same thing at all.

Nice to see multimedia and anime originals nowadays are trying to improved story quality by involving established mangaka and actual writers. Though the not gone solve quality dip caused by restriction imposed for mimicing working style.

Are idols and idol anime so popular that the producers find it acceptable to literally create an endless number of such shows? As far as I understand, such projects are much more expensive than a simple original anime.
