The anime adapts Yomu Mishima's fantasy romance light novel of the same name, which Kadokawa began publishing with illustrations by Monda in May 2018. The ninth volume shipped on November 30.

A manga adaptation by Jun Shiosato began serialization under Nico Nico Seiga's Dra-Dra-Dragon Age digital manga portal—now Dra-Dra Sharp#—in October 2018. Kadokawa published the seventh volume on January 8. The publisher's ComicWalker platform also serializes the manga.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel and manga adaptation in English last April and December, respectively. The fourth novel volume shipped physically on January 4, with the fifth novel released digitally on January 20. The fourth manga volume will ship on April 19.

Not really fan of otome game situations (there are some exceptions), but if we’re are talking about mob characters then I think “kubo-san won’t let me be a mob!” Would’ve been a better choice in my opinion.

the visuals just feel extremely lacking in polish like they rushed it.
Which makes no sense it's a semi-parody play on the otome isekai so it made sense in the LN and manga sphere to have it with how dominant they've become (arguably more than regular isekai) but the only one that's gotten an anime adaptation is Bakarina so it makes no sense to me to have it adapted before we've seen them start to completely oversaturate anime.

I take it you have never seen a reverse harem's/otome game's art before? Or shoujo for that matter?
for shoujo i read several, but i really never play reverse harem/ otome game's. Just want to ask, is the art really similar to otome game's ? I just curious.

I mean, the art in the visual is not the best but yeah, the art style used, especially the one in the PV is pretty similar to some of the art styles found in Reverse Harems.

idk man this might be a hit or miss production since we got a good scriptwriter so the story is in good hand but the art alone just doesn't stand out so far unless it can be proven wrong once it airs.

Trailer looked like a joke on otome game. But the pic gives otome vibes.
Also I notices this author's other work is quite high rated.
